Have ordered quail eggs multiple times over several years. Always had great service and great hatch rates. The chicks have all been very healthy and grown to be wonderfully chunky friendly birds.
Always had prompt friendly replies to and messages I’ve sent.
Would thoroughly recommend West Yorkshire Quails (and have done to many interested in keeping quails) for great breeding stock birds.

All my quails are happy and healthy and really enjoying being a first time quail hatching mommy

I’m just in the process of getting more enclosures so I can order more hatching eggs and expand my collect as West Yorkshire Quail have such a large variety to choose from it’s hard not to get addictive to buying more

Great communication and delt with my adhd brain jumping back and forth during conversation.
Also allowed last minute collection.
They added extra eggs out of kindness.
Each order came with information on how to hatch and what to do next at diffrent points.

I have about 95% hatch rate. This was nearly 2 weeks after i had collected the eggs so could have been higher if i put them in sooner. This speaks to the quality and care the eggs and quail undergo.

I have been using west Yorkshire quails for around 4/5 years I have ordered eggs and even driven over 3 hours multiple times to purchase live birds I have always had excellent service always extremely helpful any questions she is always happy to help earlier this year I had quails disease go through my shed and wyq was on stand by when I asked if she's ever dealt with it she hadn't but that didn't stop her doing as much googling and research as she could even late at night whilst I was in the midst of loosing birds to find as much help and info for me as possible she goes above and beyond for her customers I highly recommend her to everyone I speak to and will always use her myself I have had excellent temprements in all of the birds I have received and excellent hatch rates also

I regularly buy quail feed and seed from here and the service is always fast and great.
Recently purchased some bobwhite hens too and they are very calm natured.

I highly recommend this lady I don’t go any where else amazing advice and amazing eggs I have big big plans for next year so I hope she’s ready for all my big orders but I know she will smash it as always keep smiling girl your birds

I discovered these guys after becoming a quail parent for the first time.. I hadn’t got them from them but I was having a little panic one night and so reached out for advice.. which was given.. freely.. no argument .. they even followed up later on to see if the advice had worked. So fast forward a bit.. I see on their page they are supplying eggs from a rare breed I’d been after for years.. so I took the leap.. they arrived exactly when they said they would.. reaaallly well packaged and protected.. fact sheets and guides inside to help out. All six of them hatched.. and grew and grew.. and they’re on the way to becoming the most amazing birds !! I’m so thrilled and again followed up to see if everything was going ok. I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for more and may even grab some quail this time 🤩🤩🤩🤩

My first order was brilliant, extra eggs on top of what I originally ordered which was such a thoughtful thing to provide. I understand that is to make up for any that may get cracked in transit and is such a good idea. None cracked and 9 out of 12 hatched beautifully (minus the one that I accidentally dropped). I got the black and white mix and have some absolute stunners, really healthy and super productive layers!

I have had various breeds over this year from West Yorkshire Quails, both hens and cockerels. They have all grown into outstanding, healthy and beautiful looking chickens. Communication is always prompt, friendly and informative. Such a great breeder and a lovely lady also. Couldn’t recommend enough!

TLDR-Definitely recommend this seller gives lots of extras, very healthy beautiful chicks, message them if its preorder before you buy so you know wait times.

When looking for quail hatching eggs west yorkshire quails was recommended by everyone in different facebook groups. Then I came across this trustpilot page which made me nervous because all the reviews seemed so negative until I actually read them(address at bottom).
I decided to make an order and I am absolutely thrilled and would recommend them to anyone 😆.

I am a first time hatcher so decided to get more eggs than needed. I ordered 21 only to recieve 32 eggs! (11 extras!!). I panicked a little as I thought that was so crazy to recieve that many extras then looked at their Facebook page reviews and other people, they give 3 extras on average from what I can tell, not sure why i got so many extras but was definitely welcome. ❤️

After a terrible postman damaged the box we had 7 cracked eggs (waxed sealed them). 19/32 went into lockdown and we had 10 gorgeous chicks hatch out 🥰.
13 eggs didn't develop but I'm putting that down to the damage the postman caused and issues with our incubator temp, which is likely why the other 9 failed to pip. I have made a second order because of how happy I was with the first and my partner convinced me we need more 😂. I mean how can you look at 10 little fluff balls and say you don't want more!

Address issues others had:
Yes west Yorkshire quails may take a little while to post large orders or preorders but this is because quails lay 1 egg each a day. If you want 30+ eggs of a specific type the hens need to lay them and they have other people ordering too so my guess is they will hold back your order a little to fulfill others before yours. How i know this, I expected my order around 8th of September (I did not request a specific day just asked for them to be posted that week), messaged on the 10th as i was worried got stuck in transit. They messaged straight back saying they'd had a large super jumbo order go out and had held back mine to ensure I got the correct amount of eggs (i added 6 extra eggs the week before they were due to be sent out). I received my eggs the next day.
I would 100% recommend messaging their Facebook page or emailing if you have any issues they get back to you quickly and I've never had an issues they're always so polite and understanding.
If you are in a rush to get eggs or want a specific delivery day just message them before buying. Pre-order doesn't mean in stock and it might be a couple days or weeks before they get them back in stock. A hen can only lay so many eggs 🤣.

(I know a lot of people think good reviews are bots or paid, which is fair, honestly I wish but no I have in fact spent far too much of my student finance on getting these eggs and treats for the babies )

Took nearly 3 weeks to post eggs im now on holiday and my eggs are sat in a outside
Storage unit at home somwill be no good by time im home no response from company awful customer service avoid !!!!

Pre-ordered 48 black coturnix hatching eggs way back at the start of June 2026 it’s now almost the end of August with no eggs or any communication. Do not buy it is a scam

I pre ordered 12 quail eggs on a 2 week pre order, after 4 weeks, I hadn't heard from them so I contacted them and they assured me I'd get them soon. So I told my autistic daughter to not worry, they're coming, even showed her the email proof. Gets to 5 weeks after and despite them still selling them on their online store they contacted me, being rather aggressive after I explained I waited 5 weeks, to tell me I wasn't getting them and asking exactly what I expected THEM to do about it. I couldn't believe it. How can you treat customers like this? Maybe because they don't have a Trustpilot profile, well they do now.
The quail are still for sale on their site, for a higher price but at lower quantities, which imo was the reason for thier attitude and wanting to drop the order.

Absolutely terrible business, incredibly unprofessional. Avoid at all costs
