This was our second self-guided walking trip with the Wilderness group. We were beyond pleased with the attention to detail, accommodations and level of communication.
This trip was a walking trip of the Cotswold Way. We found pre trip description of the route to be accurate, the guide books and maps provided added to our understanding of the area and assisted us in making this a very memorable vacation.
The accommodations were comfortable and more than met our needs. The Broadway Hotel, Stone House and The Queensbury hotel stand out for their level of service, restaurants and uniqueness. I wish we could have stayed an extra night.
The communication prior to the trip were timely and concise. We were provided with an emergency contact during the trip but, did not need to use it. We felt well taken care of. Pre arranged taxi services arrived on time and were flexible with our schedule changes.
To sum it up, we will be back and the Wilderness group will be our first and only call to arrange our next trip.

Louise was the best guide and driver! She shared her love of hiking and southern England.

The guide is excellent and the hotels and itinerary are good. English countryside is really scenic. My wife and I really enjoyed our tour.

Our Wilderness England guide Louise made the Highlights of England an unforgettable experience. She was knowledgeable, experienced, and always willing to adjust the activities due to changes in the weather or walking conditions on the trails. The accommodation was very good and the meals were incredible and I indulged with a starter, main, and dessert at every dinner.

Super-qualified, personable guide who let each of the group members be their authentic selves. Wonderful itinerary through diverse landscapes. Lovely accommodations and food.

Most challenging trip I've ever taken -- the terrain, the weather, the elevation, But the most gratifying trip also.

We loved our guide Jeremy and the flexibility we had to change our plans for the day. We loved Jeremey’s practical decisions and the fact that we made the best use of our time in the Cotswolds.

Wilderness England is an amazing company, They gave us a most innovative itinerary - encompassing hiking, birding, and nature walks to castles and museums. They chose two super knowledgeable, personable, and awesome guides. And they selected lovely accommodations. Together, they gave our family a one-of-a kind vacation with the special memories one dreams of. I trust Wilderness England to deliver high quality adventures with every detail considered. Love, love, love this team.

The beauty of the areas visited, the guide, and the accommodation. We would be unlikely to drive ourselves to cover this part of the UK and do the walks unguided. Also the variety of things included in the itinerary, castles as well as scenery.

It is so worth every Penny to have so many travel details arranged and sorted out by Wilderness England. The expertise and experience of our guide made for many busy and productive days, catching most of the most significant sights.

This was our 4th Wilderness trip. Clearly we love the ways these guys package their trips!! Interesting journeys, well qualified guides, small groups, comfortable accommodation, fab food and spacious van. And the office is friendly & helpful :)

An interesting tour with a very knowledgeable, friendly guide (Philippe) in a marvellous part of England. The daily distances walked were a well-chosen length in wonderful countryside and combined well with sight-seeing. The 2 hotels were first class.

The trip was a great mix of culture, history, walking and accommodation. Excellent guide. We'd highly recommend using them.

We did and saw things we would not have on our own ... and learned a lot about the history along the way.

Each day was well thought out. The hike leader understood the group’s abilities (we were a strong group that wanted to see as much beautiful nature as we could) and tailored certain hikes to our needs. I really appreciated that the first and last days of the trip were also packed with activities (ie they were not just travel days as with other companies). Great efforts were made to give us a good history of what we were seeing and an authentic experience. Truly a memorable trip!

Another fabulous trip with Wilderness Scotland (England, Ireland). Very well organised with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. Always a great group of travellers and it won’t be my last trip with this company.

The group size was small, the guide was experienced and fun to walk with. The hotels and food were good and the itineraries were interesting. I think Wilderness England did a very good job in all areas.
