Great beers and great service at the bar.

Only 4 stars as food menu could be a little more varied and food at the Fur & Feather is only good and not exceptional.

Visited the brewery shop this morning, I was the only customer in there at the time. The male assistant on duty, was the most unhelpful and discourteous, to the point of being rude, individual I have come across in a while. Do yourselves a favour and find a replacement and quick.
There are plenty of up and coming local breweries to chose from now, so not sure I will be coming back.

Brewery tour 8/10/22 was a great experience, the tour guide Kate was brilliant explaining everything about brewing, best Brewery tour I've been on.

I just love Woodfordes ales. I know that beer is a matter of personal preference but I haven't found one I don't like yet. Bit of a hiccup with last delivery which was due to the courier not Woodfordes. Customer service sorted it in an excellent fashion. Will definitely keep using this company.

I am an English Ex-Pat who misses the taste of British ale rather than lager style beers. I can't buy ale where I live so I decided to try brewing my own from a Woodfordes kit. 71 brews later I'm still a fan and the results are so good and consistent that I'm starting to compare my beer favourably with commercially brewed equivalents.

Unlike some other kits, the Woodfordes kits are easy - they require no added sugar or complicated equipment - a sealable plastic bucket and boiling water are all you'll need. I use (and re-use) flip-top glass bottles to store and condition the resulting beer and it's drinkable around 4 weeks from bottling.

This is modern home brew at its best, simple, flavoursome and above all consistent from batch to batch. Woodfordes, as an established brewery, have done an excellent job of productising their offering. The resulting beer tastes just great, and unlike the old home brews of the 1970's your friends will actually like it rather than just saying they do!

My only gripe, if I have one, is that buying the kits direct from Woodfordes is actually more expensive than buying it from some other sources - I buy from a Belgian home brew supplier who are cheap and reliable.
