Account remains locked
I like YBS, but I just can't access my account, hence the lower score since I rate having access as being fairly important!
I phoned, we made some changes over the phone. It still doesn't work.
I'd like to open an additional account, but since I can't access it I might need to open with Nationwide instead.
*Update* I went into the branch, very helpful and attentive staff. Immediately set about resolving my account access, phoned their IT/customer account staff and quickly identified that the date of birth was incorrect somewhere. Despite the swift action, I still can't access my accounts. Given that I've not had access for a few months now, I'm becoming concerned. If something this straightforward can't be rectified, what else might go wrong. It's shaken my faith in YBS.

SATISFACTORY CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT WHILST OPENING BANK ACCOUNT
The female staff l talked to gave me informed information, on the telephone and in branch, which enabled me make the decision on the type of savings account best suited for me.
