Disappointed: Weak Lock Caused Me to Lose My Bike
I purchased a G4 bike from Yasyas. First, I should say they delivered the bike to me very quickly, and I was satisfied with that part. However, the reason I’m giving a low rating is because the lock they provided with the bike was extremely weak. Unfortunately, the day after I received the bike, it was stolen.
I had already bought a separate lock for the bike, but when I opened the packaging and saw they had included a lock, I returned the one I bought, thinking I could rely on theirs. Unfortunately, the bike was stolen later that same day.
Considering the value and quality of the bike, they should have either provided a stronger lock or no lock at all to avoid giving a false sense of security. Because of the poor quality lock they included, I ended up losing the bike and, as a student, this has cost me around £450.

We are truly sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident of your bike being stolen. We fully understand how distressing and frustrating this must be—especially as a student who made a significant investment.
Please allow us to clarify: the complimentary lock included with the bike is intended as a basic deterrent and not as a primary security measure. We always recommend using a high-security D-lock or chain lock, especially in areas where bike theft is common. That said, we completely understand how receiving a lock in the package may have led you to believe it was sufficient for protection.
Your feedback is extremely valuable to us. We will review our packaging and product guidance to make sure we provide clearer communication about the lock’s intended use, so that future customers don’t face a similar misunderstanding.
Although we cannot take responsibility for theft once the bike has been delivered and handed over, we would like to offer you a discount or support on a replacement bike if you're considering purchasing another. Please contact our customer service team, and we’ll do our best to assist you further.
