This food has been excellent for our 12yr old dog, only issue is that she’s really not keen on the pate because she loves wet food in jelly.
She’s now got hair on all her body and no more nibbling or scratching

I sent the below email to Yorapets and have recieved radio silence even after chasing them....
not impressed with customer service - product might be good but feel short changed. I can see recent purchases that the dental sticks have got much smaller but the price remains the same.

I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to express my concern regarding a recurring issue I have encountered with your dental sticks for small dogs, which I purchase from Pets at Home. Over the past month, I have bought several packs of your product, and unfortunately, I have found that at least three of these packs have contained fewer than the stated 7 sticks.
To provide more details:
Pack 1 contained only 5 sticks
Pack 2 contained 6 sticks
Pack 3 also contained 6 sticks
This issue has been disappointing, especially considering I’ve purchased a month's worth of product. I understand that these things can happen from time to time, but I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.
Could you kindly advise on the next steps or if there’s anything I need to do to rectify the situation? I am happy to provide any further details or evidence of the purchase, should you require it.

Second review. This is my second review — my first review was at the beginning of 2024. I’ve been using Yora for close to 4+ years now, buying the large packs twice a month, and I honestly wouldn’t change it for anything.
My Labrador is full of energy, her stools are always perfect consistency, and her eyes are clean and no longer watery like they used to be before Yora. The difference this food has made is truly amazing.
I did notice a small change with my most recent batch — the kibble seems a bit smaller and not as oily as before. I’m not complaining at all, just curious to hear your thoughts on that.
Please don’t ever change your quality. Please keep the same passion for what you’re doing — I am completely loyal to this food and will never switch. Thank you for making something I trust so deeply for my dog.

Bought yora for years as my cat has a meat allergy. Unfortunately the product quality has gone down as a lot of biscuits are covered in powdery dust, this was not an issue when I started buying yora 5 years ago. But in the last couple years the quality has dropped as I don't think paying for powder dust is fair and I know they can do better.

I have contacted them about this but they not attempted to fix the issue, just a refund. Which I appreciate but I don't want to buy from another brand, I just don't want to keep paying for dust.

Has been transformative for my 14 year old lab/staffie cross. We were at our wits end with regular bouts of diarrhoea and general lack of interest in food.

My daxie developed severe skin allergies and his life was made pure misery by incessant scratching. Was recommended Yora by a friend who works in a local pet shop so decided it wouldn’t hurt to try it. Well! What can I say? This is the first kibble I’ve tried with him that he absolutely scarfs down, for a start! His skin has cleared up tremendously in the 2-3 weeks we’ve been trying it and he no longer needs antibiotics from the vets to keep inflammation down as he no longer has any!! I’m totally impressed with this food and will definitely keep him on it and would not hesitate to recommend it to others with poor, itchy pooches!! My vet also said it’s very good and he’s pleased with the improvement he’s seen in my little daxie’s skin. ( unfortunately my daxie has allergies to environmental triggers so it hasn’t been a total cure-all, but it’s gone a long way towards helping his skin heal)

I was super stoked to get this for my dog. I bought the senior version since she's turning 14 this yr and I wanted to see if insect dog food could be an alternative to her diet. The food made my dog throw up the 1st night I gave it to her. I even tried to slowly introducing it, whilst mixing it with food she's already acclimated to. I wanted to wait a week to see if her reaction would change, but I noticed my dog was scratching incessantly and she threw up maybe just around the week was up. So I unfortunately had to throw away her whole batch of dog food since I had mixed it with her old dog food. Unfortunately my dog's palate wasn't meant for insect food. Maybe she's sensitive? But I just want other pet parents to wary if they haven't introduced insects before to their dogs.

Our dog has been on it for about a year a little over, he is an 8-year-old heeler mix, and he loves it. Stuck his nose up on just about everything for 6-7 years that we had him. Yora is the only food he does the taps for and is always excited for. I love that what we're feeding him is reducing the carbon footprint and helping his gut too. He's been the same heeler pup since before Yora. We won't be switching back unless requested to by the vet.

Unfortunately Yora insect superfood made my cat really sick. We introduced it slowly and actually thought she had eaten a mouse or something so we gave it brea for two weeks and tried again but she was repeatedly sick after just one serving. It’s a shame as I love the green credentials.

Our beagle had a nasty anal gland episode. The vet told us that he was suffering from colitis and suggested we change his diet to insect protein. I researched and decided to get some Yora. He loves it, his poops are nice and solid and I seriously think he has a shinier coat and more energy. It's not been long, but so far so very good!!

I gave my cat just 20% Yora Adult dry food with her normal food (less than the suggested initial 25%), but she soon brought up the whole meal, and she has never done that before, even though she has regularly eaten another insect-based dry food for years. The manufacturer could only suggest that an ingredient disagrees with her, or that I should persist, but I now daren't give it her again, so it was a waste.

Since changing my 3 dogs onto Yora they have never been so good, we have no eye discharge anymore, no wind issues, poo is perfect, their coats are amazing and they absolutely love it. The treats are great too love the dental sticks and the dreamers are amazing for my dog who has anxiety issues. As I am also a vegetarian I like the fact that no animals are harmed to make Yora also. Couldn’t recommend this food enough

Having two dogs, one that's fine and the other with a very sensitive digestion. Looked at lots of options for both, rather than two foods. Both dogs enjoyed the food and stools are amazing (if you can say that about poo!) only issue we are monitoring as we try this is cost effective, more pricey but if it makes the grade in lasting then I am in 🤞🙏

Recommended by a friend after our one year old border terrier has several digestive problems which vets just couldn't decide what it was. After a month he is a different dog. Looks forward to each meal, devours every piece and loves the protein bars. His coat and general health how it should be. Happy with service & delivery

My dog (Romanian rescue, who eats everything) loved the original recipe, but dislikes the new improved one. We tried introducing slowly, but she just left the new food. We've since moved to a vegan dog food (who knew?) which she absolutely loves.

Changing too much…..my toy poodle has been so happy on Yora kibble for the last 2 1/2 years, but they’ve recently changed the recipe. I’m glad they removed the pea and maize but they’ve covered it in vegetable gravy stock and she hates it. We’ve tried everything to introduce it. She tried a bit and it made her sick within 30minutes. We’ve tried mixing it with her old food for the last week and she is just picking out the old original flavour and refusing to eat. Another dog I look after who loved the old recipe spat this out too.

They also changed the Yora reward treats in November and they are 5 times the size. The old ones were perfect to break in half for a toy poodle. These new ones are huge and crumble everywhere so you end up with powder everywhere. The smaller size was great for people to be able to control the amount of treats throughout the day or on a walk, the new ones are messy and too big.

So happy finding this brand. We are trying to be sustainable and we’ve used Yora since Nov 2023 when we got a rescue dog. She loves it so much and does tappy taps on the morning waiting for me to make her breakfast. I mix the pate and kibble with a bit of water amd fresh fruit. In the evening it’s just kibble on a snuffle mat. Plain Yora kibble and she still goes crazy for it!

Not sure what happened, but the packets went more plastic-y. The treats seem smaller and less rustic than they were. It's lost it's charm for us, and even though our dogs still love them, even they don't seem as excited about them anymore.

We started using Yora wet food on our dogs licky mat. He's a rescue and the licky mat is a fantastic help with keeping him calm. We found this product is amazing for that and he really enjoys the meal. We starred buying the treats recently and he absolutely loves them (as do his friends). Thank you Yora for creating great products for our pets.
I did have to use customer service on one occasion and I have to say AMAZING!! One item arrived damaged and unable to you. I email with attached photo and a replacement was sent out the very next day. I must add, I was offered a replacement or refund. Well done Yora - there isn't always a high level of customer service these days and yours is absolutely outstanding.
Highly recommend using these products and this company.

tldr: great stuff, dogs love it and their digestive health has never been better. Have been using them for dry food for around 6 months, wet food for about a month or 2 now.

long version:
we'd had our dogs on a combo of Yora dry food (senior) and wet/meaty food from another provider (also senior). Our dogs frequently had bile vomit in the morning, and one would sometimes refuse to eat. Their bowel movements were inconsistent and sometimes would become concerning.
After Yora introduced their wet food, we decided to switch them over to that, and the difference has been night and day.

Both dogs always finish their meals, love the taste, and have never had better digestive health.

The recyclable packaging and sustainable model are such an immense cherry on top of everything.
