First time I ordered, can’t fault the service needed to change something called the number on the site had no issues talking to someone not just that I paid for 2-4 day delivery I actually got it next day! Great service 100% will be using again. ☺️

If I could give 0 I would give a zero. I have never dealt with a worse company. I believe they are total scammers. Put in an order for cake boards and firstly got a message to say that they were wrongly priced on the website and were twice the price. They eventually managed to sort out a price and paid for 60 board supposed to be delivered in 2 days. After almost 2 weeks and numerous phone calls which only 1 was answered I today reviewed 26 boards not 60. Of course when I try to contact them there is no answer so I will have to dispute the charge through my card as I can’t be bothered any more with contacting them. I should have read the reviews first. Stay well clear.

very disappointed with this company, they have failed to reply to my emails regarding a wrong item received which I want to return. I have been unable to return the item without their communication as there was no paperwork included in the order.

I wish I'd read the reviews before I ordered! My order for next day delivery wasn't sent until I emailed to ask where it was and some of the items listed as available on the website weren't in stock so I had to order elsewhere costing me more in postage. They offered to refund my next day delivery charge but didn't do it and my emails regarding this were ignored. The other big cake decorating companies on line are excellent so I won't be returning here!

I managed to order the wrong size box. When I phoned the Baking number the response was kind and helpful. I decided to keep the box and ordered another one in the correct size. I received a call making sure the order was correct. It's uncommon, these days, to receive friendly, caring help. I have no hesitation in recommending Your Baking Company as a supplier of all things cake based.
And the prices are very reasonable!!!

Ordered on 10th sept and chose 2-4 days delivery - it is now 26th sept and nothing has arrived, no communication what so ever. Contacted them on their number and was ignored. Worst company I’ve dealt with when ordering chocolate and now have to go through my bank to dispute the payment

I was looking for a specific product. I did a Google search for the umpteenth time, not expecting to have any luck, and saw a link to Yourbakingcompany in the UK. I didn't expect them to want to sell to me here in the U.S., but I couldn't be more wrong. They had so many of the various items I wanted to purchase and they were willing to make sure that I got what I hoped for. Reece, along with her staff, was so upbeat and helpful. We communicated back and forth and she went far out of her way to ensure my happiness. I felt as if we knew each other, which sounds corny, but she was so warm and helpful. Don't hesitate to check out her store. They carry everything you need if you love decorating cakes. I sure wish I could hop in my car and go shopping in person. I have made friends and they've already welcomed me back!

Missing items in order and now my emails and messages are being ignored by the company. Wish I’d seen the existing reviews before placing order.

So I ordered from this company without reading the reviews, which, of course, was a schoolgirl error.
I spent a lot of money - around £200 - and received half of the order a few days later. I always check my orders as I do tend to order from small businesses and, as we're al human, we sometimes make a mistake.
I realised half my order was missing so I called....and I called....and emailed.....and sent a whatsapp, and called again with no responses. My final email was requesting a refund before I took the matter further, and with that, I received a call from the owner expressing her deepest apologies and that she would sort the order. She was in constant communication with me from that point forward, and when I finally received my order, there were some lovely freebie surprises in there as a matter of apology. We are all human and make mistakes occasionally. My theory on these poor levels of service is that they are doing so well with the business, they have been unable to cope with the volume (I kind of wish I had this problem!). Lesson learned that focus should not be placed on the mistake but be placed on but on the resolution to restore the faith. My faith is definitely restored and would order again without hesitation!

This has to be the worst run company i have ever seen just take your money and dont send the goods i have called my card and let them know this has happed do not buy. wish i saw the reviews first

Complete gangsters this company should not be trading. I have no reported them to watch Dog BBC ordered two weeks ago. Sent confirmation no order came. I called the company 10 times. No one has returned my call you worry whenever somebody has a mobile number will be reporting this company, to trading standards and I’ve also sent an email to watch BBC as the reviews are so bad. This company needs to be dissolved.

I placed an order with the company early in the morning and received notification of despatch with a few hours. As I had requested 24 hour delivery, I expected delivery the next day. When nothing had arrived, I checked with the DPD website but it did not recognise the tracking/parcel number. Thinking this might be a scam, I emailed the company and left a voice message. The parcel arrived early this morning followed by a lovely phone call from the company who had already tried to get hold of DPD to find out what had happened to my parcel as not being able to fulfil their delivery promise reflects on their reputation. The company could not have been more helpful and apologetic as the delivery was out of their hands once DPD had collected it. Thank you to The Baking Company for calling me so promptly and doing their utmost to sort out the issue even though it was no fault of theirs.

I placed an order on 12th August 2024 for baking supplies. I received an immediate email saying my order had been received and they were getting it ready to be shipped. I was expecting delivery within 7 days. After several emails and telephone calls asking where my order was this company failed to communicate with me. I was about to put this matter in the hands of my bank to recover my money as I had not received my goods and not heard from the company with an explanation when out of the blue the goods arrived!(31st August 2024) In the meantime I had ordered and received the same goods from another company. I will never order from this company again. It takes a couple of mins to send a delivery update!

Do not buy anything from this company they are thieves. I ordered some supplies a month in advance so I would be ready to make my daughter's birthday cake. They did not arrive within 2 weeks so I got in touch and received a telephone call the same day to apologise and assure me that my order would be sent next day delivery. I was impressed initially as they seemed quite on the ball but the 'second order' did not arrive either. At this point I had to order the supplies from another website and they only just arrived in time to make the cake - as any baker will tell you, this is added stress you just don't need! I received an email apologising again and promising to 'look into' what had happened - obviously there was no follow-up to this and I requested my money back (as if!). As I expected, I was ignored and there were no more replies to my emails or complaints via the website. They have basically stolen £30 off me and I have no recourse, they don't have to even reply to an email or justify why they are still doing this to customers. According to companies house Your Baking Company was dissolved in Sept 2022 after only going into business April 2021 and filing no accounts during that time. It must be registered in another country now, even though they have the .co.uk name to make people think it is UK based. Very fishy, and they are obviously still scamming people.

I placed a largish order and never received anything but excuses - they were out of stock, they had technical issues, the shop had been vandalised, they’d had supplier issues… They’ll string you along and hope you’ll go away.
I had to file a charge bank with my bank which took months. Completely dishonest vendor, don’t be tempted.

If I could give 0 I would! Avoid at all costs I placed my first order with this company and it was a relatively big order! Some of my order has arrived but around £150 worth is missing! I’ve contacted the company and had an initial response to say they would get the 2nd package shipped… 3/4weeks down the line I have still not received this and they are now ignoring all calls and emails. Absolutely disgraceful way to run a business and I’ve had to raise this through my bank.

Faster than Amazon Prime, with great products and a fantastic, personal service. Many thanks - my go-to place for supplies!
