These people are nothing but organized criminals. They stole 900 euros off me for an invented scratch. STAY AWAY, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Shocking. Car returned in the same condition it was received. After scrutinising it and wiping with a rag to try and find marks on the vehicle, the guy said it was all fine. I asked if I should sign something to confirm it was all ok. He said no, all is good so nothing needed.
2 weeks later I was told there was damage and they would not return my deposit. Currently going through my card company to recover this. The company register their cars in Poland and use to hire in Spain. I went through a reputable broker so believed I wouldn’t have a problem. So far that has not proved to be the case. Under no circumstances should you use this company. .

On Dec 26, 2025, we came from Lodz to Warsaw airport to pick up a car I had reserved two days earlier, for a budget of 2,148 PLN (511 €) agreed upon in writing. There I was told that my VISA PREMIER card was NOT ACCEPTED because IT DOES NOT CARRY MY FULL FIRST NAME, ONLY MY INITIALS !

However, they were willing to accept it if I paid for additional insurance of 1463 PLN (350 €), which, until then, had been presented on the document as OPTIONAL. This option was pointless to me since it was intended to cover risks already covered by my VISA card.

Then my wife proposed her VISA card, issued by a Polish bank, with her full first name. Not accepted either, God knows why.

To this pressure I had to give in, the alternative being to walk in the night with the guest we were to collect and her luggage.

Upon our return in Lodz, after making sure that the refusal of a card for this reason of initials is prohibited by the VISA rules, I asked for a refund of the 1,463 PLN wrongly charged. They offered me 300 PLN. I declined, choosing instead to keep the freedom of warning future victims.

In 40 years of renting cars I have never lived such a shocking experience. Are seniors privileged targets for such dishonest people ? Reading on Trustpilot another victim’s - Patrick Palmer - similar testimony « They act as a criminal extortion gang », one understands that this scammer’s method is systematic in the company, among others.

Total scam, absolutely avoid. Fake reviews on Google (rating 4.2/5), while 1.3/5 rating here. I was asked to pay €300 for extra insurance on arrival which I refused. When returning the vehicle in Malaga, they went on obvious hunt for the tiniest scratch or damage on the car, and obviously found something. I took photos of the car when I picked it up, so I disputed the first scratch they acused me of immediatelly, it was already there before. The second scratch wasnt visible on the photos, because I was picking up the car in the evening and there was barely any light in their garage, so it wasnt visible on the photos. But I am 100% sure I didnt cause it either, it was on a plastic part of the bumper. They immediately charged full excess of €900 on my card and told me they will contact me in 3 days about exact amount to be charged. In 3 days they sent email that it will take 4 weeks to assess the exact amount. They still keep the full €900 illegaly charged to my account. Still not sure how much they will charge me in the end, and if they even return the rest of the excess or not.

Super rude behaviour of the staff as well. This is apparently their business model, lure you in with cheap rental price, then either force you to €200-€300 extra insurance fee or rip you off on fake damage claims. Absolutely shady company, avoid them at all cost.

Return car. Deposit was paid back. After 28 working days getting email with car damages. Next day 1500€ deducted from credit card. 💩 company, do not recommend. I can clearly state that damages made by them, car was returned evening time when was dark. 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩especially in Kaunas. Avoid them💩💩💩💩💩

Avoid this rental company. You can book cheaply through rental platforms like car rental, but they will rip you off when you arrive at their location. Lots of lies and manipulation. They ruined my vacation. They can be named Wheego as well

Wer hier bucht hat dann nur Probleme. Am Anfang sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und sagen es sei alles ok. Als wir den Mietwagen zurückgeben wollten, hat ein Mitarbeiter innerhalb 1Sekunde einen Mangel festgestellt den man nicht sah. Er war laut, unfreundlich und aggressiv. Das ist Betrug und bitte reserviert dort kein Auto. Das machen sie mit Absicht um ans schnelle Geld zu kommen. Wir haben alles dokumentiert und alles geht zum Anwalt!!!

We travel to Spain frequently and rent cars all the time. Usually, we’re pretty satisfied with the rental companies, but on this occasion we had a very unpleasant experience, and I urge people to think twice before using this company(Yourrent).

When we collected the car, it already had several dings, dents, and scrapes. The office staff assured us everything was recorded. We took plenty of photos and videos just in case. We were told this car was going to be replaced for a newer model due to the damage and age.

Upon returning the car, the staff member inspecting it quickly brushed past the obvious dings and dents, but then circled the car and focused intensely on the windscreen. He ran his hand across it and announced that there was a chip. My husband asked, “Where?” The staff member pointed to a specific spot and told him to run his finger over it. My husband did, but felt nothing. He was then instructed to use his fingernail, and only then did he feel a tiny scratch.

A debate followed. My husband said, “You must be kidding.” The staff member then called the manager, who also had to run her fingernail over the spot before agreeing there was a chip. My husband called me over and told me to look. I searched for three minutes and couldn’t find anything. Only after repeating the same fingernail test did I feel the tiny mark.

Despite our objections, they insisted on proceeding. We had to leave our €900 deposit so they could “finalise” the case, as we were rushing to catch our flight.

Once home, we received a bill for €4,000 to replace the windscreen. A quick search showed that windscreens in Spain typically cost between €400 and €2,000 in extreme cases.

So I ask: does something smell fishy here? Did the staff already know about this tiny scratch and decide it was the perfect excuse to recoup the cost of all the dents they failed to charge a previous renters for, or charged them and not repaired? Hmm… it certainly feels that way.

Who wins? The car agency.

We will never rent from Yourrent again, and we’ve advised all our Spain-travelling friends to avoid them as well. Hopefully this review helps some of you steer clear too.

Beware when renting a car from this company.
Picking up the car goes smoothly, you receive a fairly new vehicle.
However, you’ll immediately notice several small scratches on it.
The real problem starts when you return the car. YourRent will find a tiny scratch and expect you to prove it wasn’t there when you picked up the car.
Then they initiate a damage assessment, which takes weeks. Eventually, you receive a report, in Polish, with an absurdly high repair cost that, unsurprisingly, exceeds your deposit.
For example, a minor scratch that a body shop would fix for €75 is listed in the report as €825.

uwaga !!!! Ku przestrodze!!!!!! Najpierw przeczytajcie wszystkie negatywne opinie to bardzo ważne , wszystkie są prawdziwe, doświadczyłam na własnej skórze oszustwa na niebywałą skalę. OMJAĆ SZEROKIM ŁUKIEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!! wypożyczyłam Auto w carjet.com .Wykupiłam dodatkowe ubezpieczenie Platinium które według opisu obejmowało wszystkie możliwe usterki które mogłyby się wydarzyć podczas użytkowania auta. niestety na miejscu w wypożyczalni YourRent (nazwa wypożyczalni inna niż strona CarJet/posługują się też stroną meet&greet service )w Balicach zostałam poinformowana że ubezpieczenie wykupione nie działa.!!!! Dostałam dwie możliwości: albo wykupić dodatkowe ubezpieczenie za kolejne tyle !!!! 464zł albo wnieść kaucje i tym samym ponieść ryzyko zapłaty 4500zł za jakąkolwiek Ryskę, z którą wróci auto niezależnie od tego czy z mojej winy. Jeśli nie wykupię wyżej wymienionego ubezpieczenia.(jak widać w komentarzach ci ktorzy to ryzyko podjęli, to ponieśli te koszty, bo wypożyczalnia zawsze znajdowała nawet niewidoczną rysę ). Na koniec dodam że byłam ofiarą feralnego odwołanego lotu, z winy tureckich linii lotniczych które wypadły z pasa i musiałam szukać innego lotu. Znalazłam w Warszawie na następny dzień. Mimo moich tłumaczeń i próśb Wypożyczalnia za zmianę miejsca zwrotu na warszawę i jeden dzień,potraciła całą kaucje, czyli kolejne 500zl. Oczywiscie nie dostałam rozliczenia o które prosiłam.pozdrawiam Anna

Wynajmuje co jakiś czas auto, jedynie do czego moze sie przyczepić to fotelik kołyska, byla naprawdę w średnim stanie a koszt wynajmu do tanich nie należał. Reszta naprawdę ok

Tout d'abord, Yourrent n'était pas à l'aéroport, nous avons dû appeler pour qu'on vienne nous chercher.
Ensuite nous nous sommes fait arnaquer nous avons payé 140.00€ pour le carburant en pensant être remboursé puisque nous avons bien fait le plein avant de rendre la voiture comme on nous l'a demandé. Cela va faire 2 mois que je bataille pour être remboursé et hier on me dit que je ne serai pas remboursé puisque c'est une assurance que nous avons soit disant pris. Pas du tout puisque nous avions déjà pris une assurance supplémentaire à la réservation.

Avoid Yourrent / Wheego at all costs! Even if they advertise cars for €0.10 per day, don’t fall for it. It’s 100% a scam in broad daylight. Many people (myself included) have had terrible experiences – hidden fees, dishonest practices, and zero customer service. What others are warning you about is absolutely true. Stay away!

Fact: the T&C document provided at the time of booking stated that a credit card in the main driver's name would be required. The kind of language normally found in car rental documents.
Fact: at the time of vehicle collection at Kraków Airport, the company came up with a new requirement that the card must include the full first name of the main driver. My card includes initials + surname and it has never been an problem.
Fact: the company offered to accept the card after all, as long as I took full insurance (FDW) and fuel with them, worth a few hundred euros. Else, the vehicle would not be released.

My worst experience in 30 years or car rentals.
Why Ryanair or Rentalcars.com associate with them, I do not know. I would be embarrassed.

Moje doświadczenie z wypożyczalnią Yourrent w Alicante było bardzo pozytywne. Wypożyczyłam auto na wakacyjny wyjazd z rodziną i byłam pozytywnie zaskoczona. Otrzymałam auto Renault Symbioz, który był nowy, czysty i w pełni sprawny. Proces odbioru i zwrotu przebiegł błyskawicznie choć miałam obawy ponieważ pierwszy raz wypożyczałam samochód. Cały zespół zasługuje na pochwałę, ale chciałam szczególnie wyróżnić Hamzę. Jego profesjonalizm i chęć pomocy sprawiły, że czuliśmy się w pełni zaopiekowani.

After being deceived (scammed) by the company, the comments caught my attention. Many others have been deceived in the same way. I was extorted 1.100€ (4800 zloty). And for a superficial 1 cm scratch.

The counter worked as follows; the vehicle was delivered dirty and with only 3,000km on the clock, without a detailed inspection. On our return, they forced us to take a deduction of €1,100 for this scratch. If this money is not returned to me, I will follow it in every field.
Even if this company gives you a free car, please do not rent one. Remember that you have been trapped in a cycle of fraud. The company's main business is not to make money from the cars they rent to people. It is to defraud them with false penalties.

Scammers – Avoid this company!
They try to find any excuse to charge you. They claimed damages that were already there and kept inspecting until they “found” something.
They tried to charge me for 3 damages – luckily I had photos proving 2 were pre-existing. The third was a tiny scratch, barely visible.
At return, they said it would cost around €400 — now they sent a damage report of €1,200!
Total scam. Do not rent here!
