The most important aspect of changing energy providers is the ease of moving from one to the other. You did everything for me quickly and efficiently. The biggest fear of changing energy providers is the confusion and perceived difficulty and lack of trust that they will falsely give you a cheap substitute. 1st Energy gave me an honest appraisal with no sales pitch, thank god!!

Friendly, courteous and explained things completely without fuss.

I have been trying for over s week to fix issue with my account transfer and they have failed to even tell me s reason why there is error hours on hold then told yes emsil raised complaint attached supervisor's contacted correct team they let yiu know 3 times on phone over another hour wasted ...... dont waste your time or your health ... need a zero star button

I spoke to Richard and he connected me very quickly to FE, including all the back and forth details

But a few days ago I called you to change my payment method to a direct debit,
You held me on the line for 30 mins and only then asked me to leave my number and you’ll contact me.
Unfortunately, no one contacted me yet.

Please contact me personally and directly on to organise my direct debit payment.

I have called many times.
No answer
I have attempted to wait for my password notification, it is way over time ( not intant) I have gone on to the next job, as it only lasts ten minutes like its a sheep station million dollar project. This is consistent for the last year. Customer Service is 2 stars.

I joined via compare club who did everything

I became a 1st Energy customer through a free connection of utilities & internet providers. Everything was organised for me, so no complaints at this early stage. I'm happy with the pricing for my electricity, especially compared to other providers! Thanks 😊

Absolutely shocking refund system!!!! I cancelled with 1st Energy in June. I am due a refund of almost $200. I thought it would be an automatic refund. On 2nd Sept, I called into 1st Energy and asked why I had not received it and I was told I had to call in and ask for it. Its now the 15th Sept and 1st Energy is still apparently "processing" my refund. No time frame as to when I will receive it. Shocking 1st Energy. Even of you offered lower rates, I wouldn't come back or recommend you as a provider.

Very dishonest over priced .
Bills are horrendously over priced and always estimated. .I feel like I've been scammed . When I tried to leave they send me 2 bills . The final bill was double what I normally pay . . We dont use much energy . Total scammers . The only way they would have 4.5 stars . They must be writing there own reviews. .

Super easy to switch over to 1st Energy. Highly competitive and looking forward to receiving a cheaper electricity bill each month.

Switching both electricity and gas to 1st Energy has been so easy. All done on line and without any issues.

It was nice to be able to understand what they were saying and generally getting a best deal for me, it's still early stages but so far I'm happy

The lady I was dealing with was just the best.I can't remember her name she explained everything to me so clearly.

The consultant was friendly and polite, answered all our questions and made the signup a breeze.

All done via a comparison site so no personal input.
Did receive the welcome packet but no point in reading as all suppliers have obligations and you either accept or go elsewhere.
I made it clear should they enforce a Smart Meter installation, I will change suppliers.
Only good thing they only have an Australian call centre so if needed I most likely could understand the operator then again maybe not
