Devious, wouldn't really trust them again.

We booked and everything seemed ok and I received an invoice with a refer a friend for £50 foot note must be a separate booking 48 hours after first one.
So after promoting this deal to friends and family a week later a family member booked to come with us, but guess what it has to be a different destination not just a separate booking 48hrs later.
Not sure why it makes any difference as I've brought a new booking to this company.
Makes me feel they are a little dishonest so wouldn't trust them to sort any other issues fairly.
So many good travel companies out there desperate to impress, use them instead!
Give this a wide berth, not worth the potential headaches you'll probably get.

Good morning Mr Bullock, thank you for your review and apologies for the confusion.
I can confirm that you do not qualify for the 'recommend a friend' discount as the bookings are for the same holiday, it must be a different holiday that is booked. For example, if any of your friends and family that you have promoted the deal to get in touch with us and book their own holiday (not the exact same holiday you are going on) then you will qualify for the £50 'recommend a friend' discount and that will be applied to your booking. Indeed, there is no limit to this either, so if 10 of your friends and family you have promoted our 'recommend a friend' to, book 10 different holidays with us, then you will get £500 discount off your holiday and so on.
I hope this goes some way to clear up any confusion for you and hopefully if any of your friends and family get in touch with us and book, your hard work promoting us to them will not be wasted. Remind them that we cover worldwide holidays with great rates on everything from short city breaks, to all-inclusive beach holidays, to bucket list tours, so we have something for everyone.
We work really hard to organise the best holidays possible for every single customer, with a personalised service and always easy to reach and I can promise, we are one of those travel companies you speak of that are 'desperate to impress' now more than ever!
Notwithstanding this issue, I do hope that you have been pleased with the rest of the service you have received so far from us in finding and booking your fabulous holiday at an amazing price and that you are looking forward to your wonderful break together!

Amazing service throughout and also…

Amazing service throughout and also through difficult times where we had to move our holiday 5 times because of restrictions and flight changes. Everyone was so helpful in making a holiday happen. Thank you so much to the team. We just got back and had the best holiday at IKOS everything was perfect. Will use agent all the time now thanks again.

Do not use this travel agent during…

Do not use this travel agent during covid! I used this company to book a hotel in Greece, when I had to cancel because we aren’t allowed to travel because of the law during of Covid they refused to refund my deposit. I received a call from a woman who was actually chasing me for payment and was extremely rude said the hotel is still open and I should pay an additional cancellation fee. It came as no surprise that the Internet is full of negative reviews about this company, one person said this woman reduced her to tears. They is a small company so there’s no one to complain to. This woman should consider a career change to an non customer facing environment at one point when I asked her who her manager was she just cut me off.

I am so sorry you have not enjoyed your experience with us so far. We do try so hard to keep our customers happy and most of our feedback is positive (score 4.79 out of 5 from over 4000 reviews).
It has been very difficult recently with obvious added pressures on everyone but we have managed to maintain our high standards, still answering emails, live chat and phone calls within seconds usually.
If the future holiday bookings that we have are cancelled due to government advice then our customers have the option to either reschedule or have a full cash refund with no admin or cancellation fees at all. If the holidays are not cancelled and are still scheduled to travel as normal, customers cannot cancel the holiday without charge but do have the flexibility to reschedule for free anytime up until the end of 2022.
We are ABTA & ATOL regulated, bonded & protected meaning that we have to adhere to their rules which are in place to protect the consumer. If you want to raise an issue with a higher body then we can direct you to these.
Once again, apologies for any mix-ups or ill feelings. It's not why we are in business (set up as 8 friends almost 16 years ago in a small shop and grown to what we are today) or what we are about, I promise.

complete cofidence

We have used 2Bookaholiday/Aegean Holidays regularly for our Greek holidays and they have always provided us with quality hotels at competitive prices and efficient service. During this last year they have managed to refund all our cancelled holidays with the minimum of fuss, We are both grateful and impressed by their service and will contnue to book our holidays with them in future.

Some issues...

Don't waste your time. Spent the best part of an hour talking to my brother on the phone arranging a booking for 12 people (names/DOB etc). We had a great price of £1977.56. However once you hit the *one last step* button the holiday went up to £3478.38. No explanation, no reason. No changes. Absolutely ridiculous. Waste of time. If I could attach the picture I would. My brother attempted the form too and exact same result. Absolute joke

The worst experience I have ever had…

The worst experience I have ever had with any travel agent! Do not believe anything you read on their website about price promise guarantee etc. One particular part of our multi-trip holiday was triple - yes triple - the cost if we had just booked directly with the hotel ourselves! Ended up paying £1600 instead of £500 for a 3 night stay at a particular hotel! Many of our pre booked and prepaid transfers did not turn up at all! It has taken over 9 weeks to try and claim some of our transfer money back. Honestly, do not risk your holiday or mo why on this company. Massively disappointed!

They misrepresented the 'all-inclusive' drinks package

We booked our two part holiday in Egypt through 2Bookaholiday (1 week hotel, 1 week Nile Cruise)

Sadly for us, they misrepresented the Hotel's 'all-inclusive' drinks package.

We received a list of what the package included, and it was mostly spirits and cocktails. We prefer wine in the evenings so we contacted the agent who conferred with his boss, and then told us "the list is just indicative, and you will be able to drink wine in the evening".

In reality, the bar had no wine to serve, package or no package. It also turned out that the wines offered in the main restaurant at mealtimes were the most unpalatable, watery wines, we've ever tasted (all served at room temperature), so as often as not, we ended up buying bottles of wine at 300 Egyptian pounds (about 13 UKP) a bottle.

So when we got back, we suggested to 2Bookaholiday that since the 'all-inclusive' drinks package was useless to us, they refund the cost, but they refused.

I've given them a few more weeks to relent, but they haven't, hence this somewhat angry review.

Amazing company, knowledgable, polite, helpful staff

Amazing company. We always book through 2bookaholiday as they are very thorough with your booking and ensure you have all the information for your trip. In a number of cases the employees have been to the hotels and therefore have a first hand view. Knowledgable, polite and helpful staff.
Will definitely be booking through this agent again.

Great personal Service - First Class

We have booked numerous holidays now with 2bookaholiday and each one has been great. Micheal Larkin looks after us each time and gives us the best service we could ask for, often it takes 4 or 5 quotes before we find the right one but there's never any issue with requesting a quote and always goes the extra mile to pull everything together. Booking on the phone is simple, paying by bank transfer always works for us, we get a polite reminder when payments are due.
I've recommended Michael to family and Friends, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was called to settle my balance and was confronted with the most rude, arrogant, woman. She would not listen, spoke over you constantly and reduced me to tears. She said she was going to cancel my holiday that I have booked months ago. Please book with someone else as this company is terrible at treating their customers

(1) We were a group of ten friends who traveled to Egypt for 14 nights..7 nights.Hotel stay(Royal star Beach Resort) and 7 nights River Nile cruise. (Ms Nile Ruby). Dates 27/9/2018 to 11/10/2018.
On the last day of our check out one of our member left her bracelet in the room by mistake and when she and her room partner came back after breakfast the bracelet was missing. A Staff member meanwhile in their absent entered into the room and dropped two bottles of water. This was not even ordered. The incedent was reported to the hotel Manager. They refused to even take a note of it and were not helpful. We could'nt do anything as we had very little time left to catch transport to airport.
(2)On the M/s Nile Ruby one of the Video Master working for the Ship captured all our tour videos.We paid £25/- for the USB. On arriving london only one video was recorded and rest of the tour videos were missing. Can some one in the management look into this and sort this issue. We wrote this review on Broadway Travel. They asked me to write on the 2book a holiday who acted as our agent.

Will try another company in the future.

I decided to go away with my partner after he had booked a family room for him and his 2 children. When I wanted to join the holiday I was told that I would have to pay for an entirely new room. I was quoted a price of £400. Whilst I was considering what to do the manager went on holiday and we were not able to contact her. When she returned I had to pay £540 because the price of the room had gone up.
Once I arrived in Morrocco I asked the human relations lady at the lovely hotel why I had paid for an entire room, as there was more than enough room for me in my partner's room. She said that I should not have paid for an entire room and that people join people who are already staying at the hotel all of the time. I should have just paid an all-inclusive rate to eat the food etc.
