Their form 1099-NEC does not print correctly. it is supposed to print the info in triplicate for each page. Sadly, only the top third prints. Customer Service (Elsa), has no clue. Won't refer me to her supervisor as I have asked her to do after sending her many screenshots per her request. Too many hours for nothing. Returning this product. I recommend you don't purchase it saving you time, and energy for having to return it when you too can't get it to work.

I have purchased three types of forms form Staples to use with Adams software. I agree that they "fixed" a product that was easy to use into an very hard to use product that is super slow. The worst is that every one of the three products had a bad access code. I wasted hours trying to get one fixed with their chat system. I am trying to get the other two fixed now.

The product in the package was not what the wrapper said I was buying.
Their customer support was, of course, of zero help.
I'll return it. A complete waste of my time.

The system was down. Don't give me a security code. The chat line is a joke. Don't waste your time with this product.

Forget about printing multiple 3 per page1099 NEC forms. You can line up the fields for the 1st two forms but the 3rd form on the page doesn't line up. This software is a waste of time

I have been using this program for 4 years. This "new" updated 2023 program is absolutely cr*p!! It is difficult to maneuver and figure out!! Please change it back!! I will not use this program for 2024 unless it is simpler than it currently is. Ridiculous!!

I have been trying to log in to my account for 45 min. and it keeps telling me the security code they sent is not right. What am I suppose to do, I promised the client I would have it done Mon. morning. After years of using Adams, I'm done!!!

I've been using this software for 10 years, but this year's 2023 software is a piece of crap. I been unable to file my MD taxes because of a glitch in their system. The developer was supposed to be looking into it, but no one ever got back to me. And the only way to communicate with them is through chat and/or email. Someone should take responsibility for the problems. I had to manually go into MD system to file the taxes and was fined for being late! I will never, ever use it again!!

Have used this service or years, but no more. They have completely ruined their software with their "upgrades." Took a highly efficient, user friendly platform and made it cumbersome, un-editable, and difficult to find/understand, and it is so SLOW. Helpdesk is a joke. They really tanked their business trying to fix what wasn't broken.

THESE PEOPLE ARE THE WORST, forgot about support, they sent an email out out to log on to get a 1099 without any other information and no way to create an account. I tried every combo I could then it locked me out. Multiple emails to support went unanswered and I have never been able to get anyone on the phone. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COST!

Worst update 2023, keep log me out, and request verification, can’t import my data from last year and no customer support

The only way to reach them is through online messaging and they don't answer. 8 hours ago I messaged with an e-file problem and no one responded. Now the site shows "back tomorrow"! So much for January 31 deadlines.

I have been using Adams Tax Forms Helper for many years and it has been great. But this "update" is the worst and I don't know why they felt it was needed. IT'S A NIGHTMARE!! The instructions are useless. There is no customer support. The importing prior years records is so confusing. And the system kept shutting down while I was inputting data. So I kept having to log in and re-enter the information. Some times re-entering the same information over and over because it kept shutting down. I feel conned!!

Horrible, no support, new purchased tax forms is BS. I can’t get into my new purchase via your ignorant instructions. No where to call for assistance, online chat is worthless

Have been using this software for years without issues. The 2023 filing season has been a disaster. There should be a class action suit to reimburse the cost paid for it, plus any penalties for client late filing due to their ineptness! Any suggestions for other programs would be appreciated.

I have used Adams Tax Form Software and forms for 13 years. They should never have changed the software! Tons of errors & prior year data does not import properly. No customer service...just a stupid chat box with "bots" giving you blanket info that doesn't address the errors. What should have taken me 7 days at most to prepare 1099's & W2's for clients has taken me nearly a month to get through. I will never use them again.

Worst software I can ever imagine. Would rather do W-2s by hand with carbon paper. This software is pretty much useless. I cannot believe that Staples actually allows this product to be sold in their store. I spent 3 hours trying to prepare single W-2s for 3 clients. Still can't get it to work. Never again.

WORSE than you think! I have used them to file dozens of 1099s and W2s and paid them to mail them to the recipients. NO RECIPIENT has received a form in the mail and we are now facing IRS penalties for not furnishing to the recipients by Jan 31st! No replies to my complaints - no customer service phone support - constant software crashing. HORRIBLE PRODUCT!

I've been using their software for 10 years now and they RUINED it by upgrading their software last year and NOT checking to see if it works. Full of constant bugs and did not import prior year data correctly. Also DOES NOT consistently print what is on the screen and keeps leaving important data off of the form. I'm so glad I bought my own forms from Office Depot but I have to keep downloading the "print to tax form" data to see if I can trust it to print ALL the info I entered. There's NO customer service at all the robot chat is also worthless. I don't know what I'll do next year but it won't be to use Adams worthless tax NOT helper software that's for sure! You guys are so bad for ruining what used to be the BEST software ever!!!!!! Shame on you for doing this at all let alone so close to tax time and screwing all your customers over.

Rating of ZERO would be more accurate. I have used Adams Tax Forms for several years and was totally satisfied. This year's rendition is unworkable. Classic case of fixing something that isn't broke. Customer service is non-existent. The Chat-bot feature is useless. Don't waste your time and money.
