A solid choice when bringing an own domain
As it seems, hosting this yourself is possible, but not that easy. Given the fact that it becomes critical infrastructure, once you have your email aliases spread around, I choose to pay rather than to host it myself as I believe the people behind AnonAddy seem to work very professional.
The service itself is phenomenal. I'm slowly transitioning from IronVest, formerly known as Blur, as I think the solution should be open-source to be audited properly.
My only concern is the single point of failure, I really hope there will never be a data leak that exposes my secret mails. I'm done with spam for good.
4 Stars, because I think the price of 32$/yr is a bit high for the best tier. I'm on the Lite plan which is absolutely fair with 12$/yr and I think the limits are fine, except for the fact that I can have only 1 own domain. Most people want to have at least 2 domains (one for their home country TLD, one with .com TLD).
Other than that it's a brilliant service. I prefer it over SimpleLogin, because it offers a Lite subscription.
