Essex village cut off by Affinity water work
The village of Ashdon had been cut off for several weeks.
The work is progressing at a snails pace, in fact some days there is no progress at all!
Who is responsible for this mess?
Ambulances with blue lights can not get through the village.
Everyone is using extra petrol driving around the long detour.

Affinity Water after last website…
Affinity Water after last website update closed by mistake many accounts holders like mine 10 years old , but for Affinity Water this is not the problem as you can still pay your bill however you don't need to see your bill!!!
Affinity water please don't reply to this feedback as is not point and we don't need to see your pathetic something like "we will be investigate this"... well you guys done anything last 8 days to reactivate my 10 years account so I'm going now to Ombudsman now. In meantime keep posting fake feedbacks from fake accounts on Trustpliot to keep you still alive ...

Affinity. In my opinion. You're hopeless.
I was notified of a leak by a card through my door after Affinity had identified this via the meter in the road. This was summer 2025. A very close relative had died that day and so it was several days before I contacted them. I also have a chronic condition that Affinity are aware of. Affinity said (without seeing where the leak was) that it was not for them to fix. My water meter readings were not affected and after calling 3 plumbers I was told that they wouldn't fix it because it belonged to Affinity. I should say that there was an outhouse built over the meter but there was a large manhole for easy access. Affinity at one point advised that the pipe was their asset and therefore theirs to fix. They changed their mind. Emails and calls continued... Affinity wouldn't even help when contacted by the water commissioning board.
Cut to this summer, 2026, and I finally had it fixed myself.
Affinity.. you knew I was vulnerable...you could have done this...you were awful.
