Haven't has bath soap stocked for a…

Haven't has bath soap sticked for a month now. Was the same with their dish washer tablets 6 wks to get those back on the shelf. Crappy service they begrudge opening extra tills when its busy. Their business sense has alot to be desired. Stay in Germany Australians dont deal with this shit. Where i am we have 2 aldi stores in a 5km range & they are opening another in this 5km range why if they cant stock the ones that are open now. Giv up as yr crap at running a business.

Aldi has gone drastically downhill with its products. fruits and vegetables are expensive and in poor condition, rotten apples inside them and no match to the quality of Coles and Woolworths which i can get cheaper. Prices keep climbing and if they can't sell it they take it of the shelf. Chicken breasts are either sometimes yellow or heading to a shade of green, I can no longer buy it. The frozen chips crinkle cut taste old when cooked and some of the chips are black inside them which I had to throw away, and if you purchase the spiced ham its completely changed to extremely hot and spicy no mention of new product because I bought them before and they tasted better, and now have a taste that makes you never want to buy it again. Aldi is no longer what it used to be, it's become cheap in quality, greedy with prices and sometimes they sell the same things every year but more expensive. Also, customer service is completely disgusting, arrogant and not helpful at all, I feel intimidated when sometimes you shop no matter which store and you have to push away a big box storage trolly away to go past the isle and when I do the staff look at you with no sorry's or moving it out for me instead they get disturbed. Mybe you should keep the isles clear for people to walk on not trip over and be looked at by staff in a bad way for moving their trolleys that are blocking the isles. I will personally no longer shop in any Aldi stores, and you have just lost a loyal customer. For many years I have bought at Aldi and all I can say is that it's no longer a five-star rating, very disappointing.

I was after 2 Slushy machines but was interstate on Wednesday when they became available. I checked many stores without success. I then checked the Yass store which the website said had low stock. I took a 2 hour round trip only to find that they too were out stock. Could you please have “out of stock” items removed more quickly.

Aldi Point Cook Vic
There is never any trolleys even after multiple times of letting the store know. They keep saying it is a third party problem which means customers have to go to the car park to get a trolley. Their produce is never fresh and goes off after a few days. I have stopped buying my produce from Aldi stores

Shady tactics

Aldi Rosebud ,are now packaging their strawberries in cardboard now, so you can't see the bruising, mould, and worm holes , 3/4 of the punnet were thrown out, if you can't see what your buying, don't buy it !
We are on to you Aldi , lift your game !

Went to Aldi in Gladstone today

Went to Aldi in Gladstone today, spent 15mins to get a basket of groceries, went to the ONLY checkout to find it was CLOSED. Stood there like an idiot looking around & decided I wasnt going to have the time or patience to learn to use their self serve machines (Which is apparently what they are trying to push people into doing!) So I dumped my basket of groceries at the service checkout & walked out & went to Woolworths instead. If Aldi continues to try & push people into using self serve, they will find there is many many others like me who refuse to use the awkward time consuming self service, will dump their groceries Like I did, & it will cost them more for someone to put the dumped items back where they belong. Good luck getting the perishables, frozen foods, milk, yoghurt, cheese back to its origin before it goes off. We wont be back at Aldi Gladstone again, Laziness & Greed destroying most businesses in Australia these days, Service will NEVER be as good as it was in the 80s 90s & Mid 2000s.

Cannington store

Cannington store. Dirty. One week they have a product. Following week, not there. Twice i have been overcharged. New staff there every week or two. Staff seemed to lack basic customer training. Prices appear to be increasing. Have given Aldi away. Its woolies from now on.

I walk in there mind you, checked online to see if they have all my items in stock. Can’t find them anywhere. I ask a staff member they pointed in the direction and that’s it no helping me find the products at all. I’m severely mad won’t come again.

Aldi Almat Laundry Liquid Concentrate Soft Sensations Formula change disgusting. I have used this product for years & it gave a great wash with amazing fragrance. Today I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the "New" container & saw a clear liquid with no fragrance as opposed to an opalescent liquid with a gorgeous fragrance. Getting a refund tommorrow. The laundry was just wet, not washed & the clothes smelt totally unwashed. Very deceptive that the packaging has remained the same which boasts "Enchanting Fragrance" Bull***t!!! Washing clothes again now with another brand. Why didn't the decision maker just increase the price like every other manufacturer? No they just ruined a brilliant product.

We always like shopping at Aldi

We always like shopping at Aldi, but today we were very very disappointed. Our store is in Regional area Rockhampton QLD and we were looking forward to buying some of the Octoberfest products like we always did every year. Unfortunately not even half of the advertised products had arrived. We asked staff members when the rest will be on the shelves there answer was they don't know if they will even be sent up to Rockhampton. We know that it is easier to sell these type of products in the Metropolitan areas. Don't treat us like second class citizens up here.

After no response to this original email sent directly to the CEO of Aldi Australia I felt compelled to attach my complaint on Trust Pilot review regarding a recent visit your store in Camberwell, Victoria, Australia 3124.
On the 19th of June this year I did a Big Shop, well to me it was of $141.00 returning today the 20th to exchange an item and while there purchasing a few more items.
While at the checkout I noticed an Aldi employee (female, brunette, thick black glasses and tattoos on the right arm) appearing to be of some importance walking around with a headset on carrying a iPad giving instructions to who knows. While I was paying I hear from half way across the store CHECK HIS BACK PACK naturally customers all looking around, it was embarrassing and humiliating.
I am 77 year old Navy Veteran and honestly believe I was profiled due to my appearance and the Back Pack I was wearing, I didn’t see any other customers being targeted.
I have been a Woolworths customer for decades however recently I thought I would give Aldi ago on a Big Shop normally I would just pop into Aldi for the odd special however now after this episode it will be back to Woollies for the weekly Big Shop, Aldi Camberwell is not a friendly store and lacking in communication skills.

So Disappointed.

A few times this year I’ve had a problem with Aldi products and each time I contact Aldi they respond with.. we will be happy to replace the product or issue a full refund provided I have the receipt. Last time it was missing crackers from the snack packs! How do you prove that? This time it was nut shells in a date and walnut log! So how do I go to Aldi with my receipt and get them to pay my dental bill for a broken tooth??

Milk from Aldi > Wollies

I live between and Aldi and a Woolies and regularly buy milk from both stores. Aldi milk consistently makes it up to the best before date. Wollies almost always goes off a week before. Aldi implementing the closed fridge doors on the milk section made a huge difference. Well done Aldi

poor customer service Coburg North. I was shopping at the Coburg North store and I waned to purchase two Persimmons. I approached a woman who worked there. She had dark curly hair. I explained to her that the fruit on display looked old and could she let me know if there are any fresher ones out the back?. She did not even look at me and stated that there are none and the ones there are fresh because she placed them there that morning .She then abruptly walked away. I felt humiliated. I was not rude to her, I asked her a simple question and was treated like an imbecile.

One star – Racism is not acceptable.

If you're a person of colour, especially brown or Asian, beware—you’re likely to be racially profiled at Aldi Indooroopilly.

This is the third time my wife and I have had our bags checked by a staff member named Duncan—each time without cause. Today (20 July 2025 at 11:43 am), we paid for our groceries and were walking out when Duncan again stopped us to check our bags. I had already been observing him while waiting in the store: not once did I notice him check a single white shopper bag, including a white woman who left right before us. Only brown and Asian customers were singled out.

To make it worse, I commented to my wife that it seemed racially motivated, and an Asian customer nearby immediately confirmed, saying Duncan had just stopped her too.

I confronted the store manager Patricia—hoping for accountability—but instead she rudely dismissed the complaint and defended Duncan’s actions. She contradicted herself multiple times about their so-called "bag check policy" and was more interested in shutting down the conversation than acknowledging the clear pattern of racial profiling.

For the record, I don’t mind having my bag checked—as long as everyone’s bag is checked equally, not just people from certain ethnicities. This is the only Aldi, and the only staff member, we’ve ever had issues with. We shop at other ALDI stores and various grocery chains and have never once experienced this kind of treatment elsewhere.

This isn’t an isolated event. Look at the other one-star reviews: overwhelmingly from non-white customers raising concerns about racism at this store. If you care about equality and fairness, think twice before shopping here.

No eftpos after scanning!

Had a trolley full scanned at ADI Victor Harbor but when it came to pay their eftpos system didn’t work! Had to abandon my trolley load and leave! Half an hour of my life I won’t be getting back!
