ALDI products not the Same

When ALDI compare in their catalogue their products with name brand equivalents and say the total is a lot cheaper they are not telling the whole story. Their products are really really inferior to use, to the name brand equivalents. No wonder that they are cheaper. Spend more in the end it's worth it to get something that does the job properly. Rob

Poorly laid out catalog

I love shopping at Aldi and in the past have enjoyed browsing the online catalog to see what amazing items were available but the layout has changed and now I won’t look at it, I have been alcohol free for 13 years so there’s absolutely no need for me to see what alcohol they are selling. While scrolling through the catalog their alcoholic drinks are randomly placed with everyday food items. As a result I don’t look at the online catalog anymore which saddens me as I enjoyed seeing what they had to offer. So I only know what specials they have when I go into a store. Other supermarkets have a separate section for this. Please consider changing how your online catalog is done.

Shopped at airport west Aldi bought 4…

Shopped at airport west Aldi bought 4 pieces of supposedly scotch fillet steak for $30. It was the worst meat ever. I do not recommend buying steak from Aldi wasting your money. I felt this was made to look like scotch fillet but feel it was cleverly disguised cut of something else, sent them photos and proof of experience very very disappointed ☹️

Once agai aldi dapto just dont have…

Once again Aldi Dapto just don't have stock on shelves! At 6pm you should at least be able to buy milk!! But no, not at Aldi Dapto!! If i go out of my way & go to Aldi Albion park, Shellharbour or Warrawong, you can always get milk & anything else that you need!! Shelves are always packed at those stores, but not in Dapto Aldi!! Bad management at Dapto Aldi, it used to be good, but in the last 6 to 8 months, its been terrible!!

Rush rush rush!

the reason i shop at aldi is because the price gouging going on that the bigger supermarkets is so bad. Aldi does have good prices. But every time i shop there i feel it is such a rush to get through the store, and the pay counters are always so hectic

I shop at Aldi South Lake... probably won't again

I shop at Aldi every week but not South Lake store again.
The last time shopping, I was the last one at the checkout before she closed it and I packed my items at the checkout straight into my bags (I didn't have a lot). When I got home I found I didn't have a packet of mince. It was charged on my receipt but I must have left it at the counter. No one was behind me so it didn't go into someone else's bag. I tried immediately to contact the store but there was no contact number or email. Instead I had to go through a customer service who took 4 days to get back to me. They said they checked with the store which was not close to where I live, and they said 'unfortunately the item was not found in the store. . Sorry'..... Its a packet of mince not a shoe and of course it's found in the store, what a pathetic response and not good enough. 3 days to respond. Woollies or Coles, you can at least call straightaway. Obviously the staff have just not thought about it and put it back, nothing written down. I gave them the exact time and amount of the receipt and I know they would have cc tv to check and yet it was just... oh sorry..... I have had bad customer service there before, especially from the Manager at the time who wasn't happy about refunding me for faulty appliance which was still under warranty. Will give them a wide berth in future.

many great products are discontinued.

What I don't like about Aldi is that every time a great product is introduced, they only stock it for a short while then it gets discontinued !
The Italian Ravioli's "specially selected "Aldi trade mark are a great product, highly consumed by customers and after a few months they are now no longer available, Please bring them back as my entire , extended family love them as I'm sure many many more customers also do .

Aldi do better

Aldi, clean up your stores, more precisely clean up the outside, those trolley boys are walking around doing nothing, they don't have to walk around collecting trolleys, they are there already in the trolleybay, ready for them, so what do they do with their time? Absolutely nothing, the parking lot is a disgrace most of the time, even yesterday in the TINGALPA aldi the shop was empty, because there was virtually no food, they had to throw out most of it due to power outage, so why are the bins outside once again overflowing with garbage, it is also on the ground, do better Aldi, because once again it looks like crap..

Shame on Aldi for making their…

Shame on Aldi for making their registers remain closed to push people to self service.
A worker told me they are currently not allowed to switch the green light on to indicate they are open. In fact they will serve you but confusion and reigns. It is misleading and ridiculous. Stop it Aldi!!

I bought a pack of lamb shanks

I bought a pack of lamb shanks. Imagine my surprise when I opened the pack and they were not split in half like all the other supermarkets do. I was having guests, so I had to run out and get more that were split. The others wouldnt fit in my casserole dish, not even to sear in my pot. Utterly hopeless, wont be buying from them again. Its just a waste. Yes I covered in foil but they wont be the same as the others one and they wont cook the same. Am frustrated.

ALDI Favourites NOW INEDIBLE.

ALDI continues to drop the ball, replacing previous quality products with inedible copies and raising prices to pay for their self promotional advertising. From the TOUGH RAMBO CHICKEN replacing the chicken that used to be tender, The crumbed chicken that was ALL CRUMB to the IMPORTED Tough and OVER-SALTED Prawns I purchased today that used to be Tasty AUSTRALIAN Prawns. I am not sure what is behind this self destructive behavior by ALDI but its getting to a point where My Family will no longer have anything left on the ALDI shopping list. A wise man once said "if it is not broken, don't fix it". Something ALDI needs to consider before it destroys more products with it's new and destroyed inedible Crap.

Bad experience of poor customer service and etiquette

This evening my wife and I went to Aldi supermarket in station street, Box Hill. We were not aware of the time of the closure of the supermarket for the day. The door was open and we went in to buy an item we wanted while the store announcement was requesting customers to complete their purchases as the store will be closed shortly. In the meantime, one of the staff members - James confronted us and wanted us to leave the premises immediately as the store is already closed. We explained that we would not have not have entered the store if the doors were closed.
As regular customers of the store, we were extremely dissappointed with the behaviour of James who demonstrated very poor customer service and etiquette.

Fine but quality control issues with staff.

After years of shopping at the Leopold store I have overall found Aldi to be fine, the staff are usually helpful on surface level information but don't expect them to remember your face and don't take a bag in while they're busy because you might end up being treated discourteously by one of the staff.
It's too difficult to do their job without using store policies to waste peoples' time intentionally in my recent experience. Aldi's website's complaints system yields no response and merely serves as a voluntary motivations list.
I'll keep shopping at this store with a better gauge of the environment entering into the holiday season but keep your guard up when dealing with the cashiers, they aren't your friend and they seem to condone hiring people that will take an opportunity to flex some minor authority over you to vent their frustrations in both active and passive aggressive manners when you're both co-operative and innocent without an acknowledgement let alone an apology for the insult or inconvenience.

Today I found out how ALDI reap people…

Today I found out how ALDI reap people off. I buy a $25 SIM card from them last month. Yesterday I bought another $25 recharge from store asking them to give me monthly recharge. Today after few calls I found it was PAYG and keep getting messages I have $10 left , $8 left…one of the expensive call I had ever. I rang the customer service where the lady was irritating and was not helpful at all. Be careful from reapers guys. This is how they give groceries cheaper.

I do like shopping at Aldi but I hate…

I do like shopping at Aldi but I hate the check service, it makes me cringe, it always has and wish they would take the pressure away from customers and stop the staff from just shoving everything at you and give you time to pack the bags and leave the counter before having to make payment. You can feel it makes the staff, you and the next person uncomfortable with each other that close trying to pack groceries, especially if there’s also children.

Aldi peanut Butter made in India . Taste Terrible compared to Argentinean made before .Aldi changed supplier to buy cheaper brand . Not buying Peanut butter from Aldi anymore !

Good different and out of stock!

Skim milk in WA has been in very short supply, often none available anywhere. Same applies to 750ml organic passata and brioche buns (regular and hot dog) Been a regular customer even before they opened in WA however getting annoyed with almost constant lack of stock, so now going to Woolies....what's going ALDI? Pls get your act together in WA thx
