Aldi… Gives the big supermarkets a run for their money!

Aldi at The Mall in Tweed Heads is worth a visit. As with most Aldi stores, there is plenty of room to move around the aisles and it is not crowded like some stores. I have very rarely seen the shelves empty and the stock is always being filled up. Check-out is the only problem when there is only 2 lanes open. Best bet if you don’t have too much, is head to the self serve (card only) could save a bit of time. Staff have always been pleasant if there is an issue or problem or just an inquiry. We have an abundance of the big name Supermarkets so it is quite refreshing and a lot of the times ‘cheaper’ to go to Aldi. If you’re willing to try a few different products but the same outcome then pop into an Aldi Store. Our 10+ yr Kitty Cat will not touch a thing else except for Aldi Cachet Cat Food at 99c a Tin! I have spent a fortune on more expensive brands which she had refused to eat so it was a funny surprise to find she prefers one of the cheapest…..from ALDI

Love Aldi. Shop here weekly. But please STOP purchasing dodgy rock hard unripe Banana's! I dont know how you make them loop yellow and ripe but please.........

No stock, false advertising

Aldi has to stop advertising products that are never there on the date advertised, or don’t turn up at all - it’s happening so often it’s beginning to look like false advertising. Last week it was the sheets, this week the ceiling fan and the Christmas sweets. Also, store has very bare shelves, lots of every day products missing and restocking trolleys in the aisle causing bottlenecks. Aldi Maryborough QLD lift your game!!!

Christmas stock advertised in catalogue and when you get there, SORRY no stock blamed on warehouse.
I do hear that over East gets their stock on time and we get the leftovers. ORDER MORE STOCK PLEASE

Empty shelves and manager

Went shopping at aldi Nowra the manager here must be so incompetent this store most shelves times are half empty my wife went to ask a question to the manager he was so rude and abrupt to her if he cannot do his job in a professional manner GET OUT.
Went there again as I like the coffee Aldi's 3 days no coffee not much of any coffee other shelves bare###

I shop at Aldi regularly

I shop at Aldi regularly, I’ve noticed the Sunbury store always seems half stocked, in most aisles,on any day of the week. Sometimes there are not even any bags in the grocery section. I also shop in Thornbury Aldi, near my work and their store is neat and fully stocked always. Just curious why the difference? Is it a staff shortage or is the growing population in Sunbury an issue. Which then beggars the question, why aren’t there two stores, like in Melton?

I think Aldi customer service is…discriminatory against the elderly, the poor and those that want an actual human person to handle their complaints

I think Aldi customer service is disgusting, discriminatory and non existent! My elderly aunt shops here as does many of her friends. She doesn’t have a mobile phone or a computer, so how does she get assistance from you????? It’s obviously your greed not to have actual humans to talk with any problems regarding product of store issues, so you are discriminating against the elderly and the poor!!!! I am in my 60’s and I don’t want to sit and fill out questionnaires to do the job if a human to report that my product was missing a part! Then the time wasted to actually get a response and the part! I deal in human contact and cash! Not robots, cards and no personal touch!! Plus the fact it’s like pulling teeth to work out how to complain on your website! Obviously that is to make it harder to receive feedback!! Very disappointing

Aldi has NO good Support

Aldi has NO good Support, after many attempts at contacting them in regard to Aldi Mobile with no luck, weeks with Bad reception, if any at all but happy to take my money for an unusable service, Unable to get anyone on the phone, no response to emails and if you contact them with an issue on facebook, they just block you or send the link to the email i already contacted multiple time with no response. Threw the sims in the bin, went with boost so at least we can make contact and use our phones. Wont even go back to shop as thats gone drastically down hill and not worth it at all. Items are not quality in any way anymore, Just a rip off I REGRET using Aldi, 6 of us, binned their items and haven't bothered going back since.

Disgraceful

Disgraceful, predatory company, shop elsewhere.
Ive had problems getting fresh food that keeps for more than two days, I don't go out often being disabled. Sick of the rotten 'fresh' fruit and veg at COLES, SAFEWAY, IGA I decided to try my local ALDI.
While shopping there i noticed allot of signage stating ALDI had award winning fresh foods, great.
Bought some oranges, potatoes and other groceries.
Oranges went off within 3 days, potatoes went off in 2. So who is committing fraud here, ALDI or some review company giving them 5 stars or whatever??
ALDI is the same as the rest, actually worse as most brands are in house and... well, trust is something EARNED.
And in the past i have spoken to managers about their fake 'SOURDOUGH' bread, which is NOT sourdough. The conclusion is that ALDI cannot be trusted. They definitely do not care about the health of their customers. Poisonous potatoes, mouldy oranges, fake specialty bread. Its criminal IMHO.

I wanted to give 0 stars. But there is no option for that. I always visit Tarneit Central, Adli. Every time I come out with a huge disappointment. Most of the time, there aren't enough check-outs, so you have to wait in a huge line for a while. Today I went there, picked up my groceries, and came to check out; only lane 3 was open, but lane 1 had a cashier (whose name I subsequently found out is Abdulla). When I got to lane 3, Abdulla summoned someone else to come to lane 1, and that guy proceeded to lane 1 to getting the check out. So I turned my cart too lane 1, but Abdulla told me it was closed. The person he got should be one of his friends, judging by the way they spoke. That should not happen; there should be no favoritisms towards customers.

Regular customers of ALDIr reading some of the negative…

After reading some of the negative reviews we totally disagree, mind you we are in W.A and we have been to many Aldi stores we find the fruit and vegetables vastly superior to that other two that have been milking customers for how many decades. Those "other two" have had more than 70% of continuous milking and now for the first time a good solid opposition called Aldi to give them a good solid kick in the "you know what". Sure their products vary from week to week but their essential products are regular and some of their staff are new at it ,but at least they have a job, in fact only last week talking to one of their staff members this person was very knowledgeable and as friendly as any in the "other two" mind you its been a long time between the "other two" only for convenience ..

Spare parts for sink mixer.

Tried to get spare parts for Aldi ‘easy home’ sink mixer tap but Lola all store said customer support and referred to a message who then refer me to and expert who wanted credit card details. This is a great way to assist customers.

Saturday morning and there are 4…

Saturday morning and there are 4 electric pallet jack's in the bussies shop aisle restocking.
Restocking staff so rude and don't care about customers, "they have job to do "and they are priority not us.
Sorry but that is not right.
Our time is as important and valuable as is yours and you staff members, ond the end we are who spend money and make you exist.
Think about that.

I wanted to buy a product from Aldi but we cant call them.

I wanted to buy a product from Aldi but didn't see it in the store. When I looked online it said there is still stock. I can't call Aldi to ask if that's true and a 30-minute drive is too far to find out. Why has Aldi made it so you can't call them? I decided to buy the same item from another store.

Poor customer service

"Good, different" is the slogan, but my recent experience cannot be classed as good.
I purchased a 50kg clothes dryer and understood I would have to somehow manhandle it into my car. I am an older woman and luckily found a couple of helpful men to help me load it in. Unfortunately when I got it home I saw it was damaged. I wanted to discuss the return procedure with a "real" person. There is no way to talk to anyone on the phone and when I tried to do an online query, I could find no way to bring up my issue. So dryer (now unpacked and harder to manage) back into my car, drive back to the store so I could talk to someone. I would have expected that, seeing as it was Aldi's responsibility to provide an intact item and replace this item, there may have been some sort of help. Again, no physical help, because Aldi staff are not permitted to leave the store. I did manage to get the dryer out of my car (at least gravity was on my side) and luckily I was able to obtain a replacement dryer, but then I had to wait until I was able to find a willing customer to help in the carpark. Thanks to the helpul gentlemen, no thanks to Aldi management who make the rules.

I like the Aldi adds on TV

I like the Aldi adds on TV, good, different.
What I feel Aldi could review is the store temperature, the open shelf fridges make for a very cold instore experience. The options are great, however it's very difficult to enjoy and browse without feeling overwhelmed by the cold temperature. Most staff are approachable and freindly, however they could work on there attitude towards customer service and be willing to stop and listen to customers. Make adjustments to shelf packing when the store is busy. Very difficult to move through store when packing boxes are in the middle of the isle.
Aldi Dickson Street Morayfield Qld is my favourite store, they have the smaller trolleys which are easier to use, pack, unpack manoeuvre in store.
Car park is clean and tidy.
