Rude manager

Hi , went to Gladstone park shopping center today between 1-1.35 pm , I was returning a a Bond tracksuit , so I show the receipt to the cashier, she said you did buy from here coz the seriel number is not matching , I said to her I bought it only yesterday and it’s not my fault to have a wrong or not matching seriel number so I told her to check the camera she went and checked and said I saw you that you bought some stuff from here but not this one , I said to her call the manager she said I’m the manager which I believe she is not because her attitude and approach was rude and bad , I said to her I’m going to wait here until you call your supervisor or someone higher then after 10 mins approximately she call me and gave me my money back cash although I paid on card , so my conclusion is those kind of people needs a lot of training especially how to desk with customer service , she was rude in front of everyone :

I visited the Camberwell Aldi store…

I visited the Camberwell Aldi store during the morning entering from the ground floor parking basement. It was very dark in the car park closest to the lift entry to Aldi and even darker in the location of the ground floor lift doors. There was not adequate lighting directly outside the lift doors or signage to indicate that Aldi was above.
Running water was in the pathway of the lift to car parking on the ground level. Dangerous because shoppers cannot see the water puddles in the car park and can slip and fall. A lack of adequate lighting for customer standards doesn’t help either. Also, the lack of switched on lighting continued to the Aldi entry level outside the lift door.
There were lights but they were not switched on.
The general feel of these spaces is very poor and of a late afternoon or evening it does not feel safe. There is drug use and vandalism in the particular area adding further risk to customers and the public parking on the ground floor to come upstairs to shop. Evidence of this is the vandalism damage to the Aldi lift internally and externally. I would suggest for the Aldi Management to review this situation at this location and others and spend some money to improve the entry and exit points making them look more safer, cleaner and inviting. At the moment the Camberwell location resembles a ‘ghetto’ standard. Also, just to trouble shoot Aldi might consider locking the lift after hours, to stop the lift being used for drug use, hard sleepers, and other dangerous uses. A good clean of the internal lift and outside area with disinfectant will go a long way too. I will not visit this Aldi store again but other people will and as consumers we don’t deserve this decrepit standard. I have taken photos if the area Manager wants to have a look, but l suggest they make a site visit there with some other managers.
Pull your socks up Aldi.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service
There is literally no where to contact them for help in regards to a problem!
I guess they will have to put up with me being a little more frustrated when I go instore with my problem!

Apple Gift Card not refunded

I purchased $100 Apple Gift Card to add to my Apple account, when I opened the sealed card, inside was only a $50 card which when scanned would not add anything to my Apple account. The manager at ALDI Dee Why, refused to believe me and would not refund my money, basically calling me a liar. As a Catholic Priest it goes against all my principles and would not cheat the store this way.

Got there in the end

I went to buy an item on special on a Wednesday. I got there before the doors opened. I couldn’t see the item so I asked a member of staff. He didn’t know but referred me to someone else who looked it up on a device and said they never got it in. He wasn’t sure when it would be in so told me to check back each day. So I went again on the Thursday and was told it was now likely to be in on Saturday. When I went back on Saturday, the store manager Arun, told me they had in fact received the item but had sold out. He then rang around all the other stores in the area and found one for me which was put aside. When I picked it up, that store manager, Bibbek apologised for the inconvenience. So in the end the store managers at both Macquarie and Amaroo were excellent. Thank you for the follow up and the successful outcome.

From my husband….
Not sure if I remember date or time correctly. But important thing is that the young, female manager there is scaring customers away. She told me and my wife today that we are not welcome there. She was screaming at us…..out out out in front of the people there. I should go to the police but my wife wasn’t well after the unprofessional manager humiliated us. I will never shop at Aldi again. My Family and Friends will also go on strike. All I did, I opened the door to the warehouse and alarm went off. I wanted to talk to staff but I couldn’t find anyone, so after 20 minutes of browsing I decided to look at the back. The manager started to screaming at me, she didn’t want to listen, she threw me out from the shop. I was loyal customer of Aldi, never had any problems there, and now, because only one woman or girl I should say, I can’t shop at Aldi. It was me, but what my wife did? Don’t know who made that girl a manager but this is wrong. Why I’m even bothering? Because I was talking to many people for the las days and they are not surprised, they even knew who I’m talking about. They say it’s happening very often at Rosebud Aldi. How come worker of Aldi can decide who is welcome and who is not at the Shop? Who is she? The owner? Anyway, thank you for so many years Aldi, this is my goodbye to you. I wish she apologises to my wife and my self, but I know that will never happen. Hopefully someone smart will let her go for what she does to the customers. Thank you

Aldi Townsville, PATHETIC checkout service, Aldi has NO TELEPHONE CONTACT, beware!

Aldi seems to have paid off Google to block reviews etc for individual stores around Australia, one will use this, the only available platform to write my review!

It has been a few years since one shopped at Aldi in Brisbane, but now I'm up here in Townsville, Aldi have only just opened up a store here.

Aldi Townsville is PATHETIC; Aldi refuse to open checkouts even when people are lined up like sheep halfway up the isles! Grooming consumer sheep to use their SELF SERVE checkouts! Their card scanners are a JOKE, and every time I swiped my Commonwealth Mastercard card there was a problem.

Aldi has lost its way, once a marketplace for quality European goods and good checkout service, now Aldi is nothing more than a Beijing market THAT EVEN SMELLS LIKE A CHEAP BEIJING MARKET, that toxic plastic smell synonymous with Chinese goods, with poor checkout service and something I thought I would never see in an Aldi, a SELF SERVE!

Adding insult to injury, I purchased their dog food, (photo below) and my poor pooch shat all night! NEVER AGAIN! No wonder the dog on the label looks so sad!
One is thinking of taking legal action against Aldi, as I have kept the other 3 tins as evidence!

At least COLES and WOOLWORTHS have the decency of having Google reviews open for people to leave comment!
Heck, Aldi don't even monitor these pages like other REPUTABLE companies THAT CARE what customers have to say!

AND to add insult to injury, when you ring Aldi head office,13 25 34 you are told that all enquiries are handled ONLINE, and not over the phone!! If you want to ring the local store, AS I DID TO COMPLAIN you are given the national number 13 25 34 and promptly referred to an online form.
Again, at least COLES and WOOLWORTHS have customer service people we can SPEAK TO!

What a shoddy ignorant arrogant stuck-up lot of Scheiße Aldi are!

Rudeness of the girl at Aldi

I have been today to Aldi Albion park rail, I got my groceries for &206 . It was a big day and I missed my lunch, I felt dizzy as my sugar goes down , while I was in the counter, I ate exactly 2 grapes . That was 3/3 at 12:57 pm . The lady who served me with black hair wasn’t happy that I ate 2 grapes and she said have you enjoyed your grapes , if it is me , I will never do that. Please note, I never did that before but I could wait as I was so unwell. That is sooo rude from her

Went to Aldi Sunbury to get two products not either in stock can’t find out when they will be in 20v cordless pole pruner and a reformer Pilates machine only help was come to the store everyday no customer service and useless back up on the phone

No happy with Aldi

No happy with Aldi! I bought a rowing machine on special a couple of years ago and had a great experience: a lot of people queuing before the gates opened but we were given tickets and the whole affair was very organised and orderly. But this time was complete chaos! I was there 30 minutes early and there were only 5 people ahead of me so I thought I had a chance but it all went wrong: when the gates opened, everybody rushed in and while I was asking how to go about buying the Pilates machine, very disappointed people were already going out because there were only 2 items to buy!!!! Thanks Aldi for ruining my Saturday morning. I won't be doing that again anytime soon!

Aldinga SA store

Aldinga SA store. Thursday 15/2/24 am. The women at the check out was obviously sick coughing into her hands and then putting my items through. How unthoughtful of others. Well I ended up with COVID thank you. So Aldi please if your employees are sick do not allow them to come to work. In future I will be leaving my items at the checkout if this occurs again.

Untruthful advertising

Untruthful advertising - I always read the Aldi catalogue and from time to time have decided to go in on the day for an advertised product. In many cases the store has not received the special buy product and so you have to travel to another store to get it. This sometimes works. However this time I have been to 3 stores and none of them even received the product. There is also no rain check available for that product. I feel sorry for customers wasting their time, staff for having to explain administration mistakes and an administration that doesn’t seem capable of completing a task successfully.

1130 today the 19th

1130 today the 19th, Altona Medows. I had 3 items, I went to first checkout as the PAIGE was still servinig, I asked if she was open, NO was the reply, the man behind me, who knew PAIGE was having a conversation together, I walked away to go to another check out , and looked back and PAIGE was serving the man whom she knew!! So I went back to her and asked why didnt she serve me, seeing she was about to open?? I was only 10 seconds away when she served the gentleman. Poor customer service, well, NOT if you know someone.

Creamy dreamy potato salad by the Fresh salad Co. (With use by date 20 Jan HO 7 01 17:01:00)
My husband loves this potato salad and we have been buying it since around 6 months ago. However our latest purchase this January 2023 was a big let down for him. The potatoes are undercooked he let me taste a few pieces and I agree with him.

I recently went to buy a car cover advertised in your catalogue only to be told that they didn't come in. I have been there 3 times now only to be told the same thing. I have never put in a complaint.

I recently went to buy a car cover advertised in your catalogue for Sat 30th Dec, only to be disappointed by none there. I have been there 3 times now and the same answer, no none come in. I have NEVER had a reason to complain before, but I am now. I have always shopped at your stores since they opened and it disappointed me to do so now. Would like a reply.
