Alice is an excellent teacher and her website has a wealth of resources. I am learning so much through her methods.

I have had a variety of French tutors and French language apps (Duolingo, Yabla, LingoPie), and have listened to many hours of other French instruction. I have never enjoyed learning French as much as I have from Alice Ayel! I have truly enjoyed watching Alice's instructional videos, loved her live classes, and really improved with private lessons she offered. Alice should be your first choice! Don't waste your time with other approaches! You won't be disappointed and will really learn!

I was looking for an online 'novel' (as opposed to rote learning) French class. I found the wonderful Alice Ayel (and team) who delivers her classes with great enthusiasm. She uses the Comprehensible Input approach which brings together speech, listening and visuals so that one learns contextually, similar to how children learn. I am at the beginner 'Baby Stage' and progressively working my way through the stories which build upon the learning acquired in the previous episode. At this stage I'm happy to recommend La Francais Naturellement with Alice Ayel. It's achievable, interesting and fun, and has some great additional resources. I’ve subscribed for 3 months but believe I will take out an annual subscription after that to keep working my way through all the levels. (P S - I am B2 level in Italian and now looking for a similar resource to progress my Italian).

I never thought that studying French could be such a fun and joyful experience. With Alice, I learned that I don't need to "study" the language in the traditional sense, but rather "acquire" it by immersing myself in the comprehensible stories she provides. The friendly atmosphere that the characters of the stories create makes me feel relaxed and at ease with the language. What was new to me was that Alice encourages interaction with the stories—to draw, take notes, answer questions that help you understand the content better, and even create your own stories, which stimulates your imagination. Thank you Alice - you are an amazing teacher and a real inspiration in my French journey!

Highly recommend Alice and her site. I have been learning French for over a year and haven't found a better resource for acquiring French through comprehensible input.
There are resources for each stage of your journey and in the beginning it's super important to have simple, slow, clear french to listen to and acquire. Resources include videos, audio and written transcripts and you can work through the work at your own pace.
I can't fault the site and it really does represent great value for money.

After trying several language apps over the past year, I have found Alice’s videos to be the best way to learn French.

Alice Ayel is not only incredibly good at teaching french in a way that's accessible to all, she's also kind and creative with all the activities she leads. I would acquire any language with ease if it was taught in this way.

I like the way she speaks, how the course is structured and the amount of material she provides, the fact that i can choose either an annual subscription for a very reasonable price or own each level for a different price. Merci.

Honestly, such a breath of fresh air. Really wonderful delivery and adorable design. Creates a warm and exciting atmosphere in which learning becomes a delight. Alice Ayel's "Le français naturellement" is a wonderful program for acquiring French. I started the Baby stage about four months ago and now I am able to understand most of what I hear and read as I progress through the beginner's program. Alice is a wonderful and fun teacher. Her stories are amusing and memorable. There are so many ways to improve understanding -- written stories, audio, drawings, podcasts and input from fellow students. I have joined a couple of her group zoom conversations and enjoyed the experience immensely. I hope to be able to participate in her immersion adventure in Pau in the future.

I registered in her program because I wanted to refresh my high school French but I didn't want to spend time memorizing vocabulary or grammar rules. Alice's natural way of learning -- just as we learned our native languages as babies -- is revolutionary. I am so happy to have discovered Le Francais Naturellement and I'm looking forward to making more progress. I highly recommend her program for anyone interested in learning or improving French (or other languages) in an active, interesting and enjoyable way.

I spent 6 months learning Spanish using comprehensible input with great success (preparing for an extended stay there) and was looking for something similar for French. I found Alice's Youtube videos and was impressed so signed up. She's an excellent teacher and is very likeable. Acquisition is definitely the best way to learn any language and I highly recommend this course.

I'm learning my 3rd language, French. I learned Spanish and some Portuguese using the traditional route, grammar rules and memorization. It's a grind and not fun at all.

I'd started learning French the same way and, to be honest, was not enjoying it and didn't feel that I was making much progress. Somehow, I don't remember, I stumbled onto Alice's site ... thankfully!

Learning French the natural way, through repetition and story telling is fantastic. Now, I understand a lot of French and can put together my thoughts, in French, without thinking about the grammar. Sure, I still make mistakes, but that's part of the learning.

The online community and video meetings are fun, helpful, and interactive. There is no stress to "perform", no tests to take, etc. Of course, it's not magic, you'll still have to put in some time reading easy books about things that interest you, or reading the many entertaining French stories found on her website. I love it!

So, if you've thought about learning French, or have tried before but failed, I would suggest that you give this a try. The membership prices are very reasonable and the environment is pretty rich!

Just joined but have read and listened and I can tell this is a great way to learn!

Like many people, I tried apps, books, podcasts and YouTube videos to learn French. They weren't working. When I first saw Alice on YouTube, I dubbed her "the lady with the white board and corny stories for kids." It looked amusing, but not a way to learn a language. Boy was I wrong.

After watching her set of 8 YouTube videos on acquiring French the natural way (Re: Stephen Krashen, Beniko Mason and Comprehensible Input) I was hooked. Plus, the subscription was so cheap I figured I had little to lose.

Quelle coïncidence, quelle chance ! that the same morning I subscribed, I stumbled on a live online meeting of community members chatting and reading stories. It was so much fun, and that was just the first day!

I thoroughly enjoyed working my way through the levels and supplemental stories on the site, while attending online community meetings every chance I got. There are meetings to read, meetings to chat, meetings with Alice and meetings to delve deeper into the content. A year later and the site is still a part of my everyday life. Plus, I now have friends from all around the world with whom I connect regularly online.

As Alice will tell you, the French language has a flow and a musicality to it that you just can't get through an app designed around games and quizzes. Instead, let your brain do the work naturally. By listening and listening and listening to COMPREHENSIBLE stories your brain can't help but pick it up. You can ACQUIRE the language if you just give it a try.

I've been studying french off and on for about 6 years, but never found a course or app that held my attention or that really committed to the 'comprehensible input' approach. This approach is used very successfully by Alice and it helps the student attach meaning to the words and sounds without translating it back to their mother tongue.

Currently I am only about half way through the courses, placing me in the Teen Stage. But every thing so far has been far more focused and helpful for me than what I've tried before.

Additionally there are plenty of supplementary materials for reading and listening! It really is a wealth of content all designed to solidify your French skills.

I started the programme, but can't get through the meat propaganda that Alice is pushing on her students. I don't expect every person to share my views, but when I pay for educational resources I expect them to be neutral in their messaging and I would never purchase the access if I knew I will have to listen to stories about "pigs that are getting fat and big, so they will be delicious" and going to the butcher and learning about different types of meats.
I went through less than 10 classes and stories and 3 of them were about killing and/or eating animals.
On top of that the website is very inconvenient to use.

I decided to update my review. I still stand by my initial comment (I want to clarify that my use of the word "propaganda" was obviously a hyperbole). I still couldn't recommend Alice's courses due to their content, not the level of teaching, but I don't think it was fair of me to write a review based solely on this.
Alice got in contact with my after my comment and my membership was refunded, which I appreciate. I see that Alice really cares about the learning experience with her course and I think there might be many people who resonate with it and find it useful.
