I have always been sceptical of paying a tour company to organise a guided trip when you can do it easily yourself but completing the 4 Day Highlights of Mont Blanc Trip led by Grigor has made me completely change my mind. It was a super trip from start to finish, with the tone of fun, challenge and mutual support being set by Grigor from the very start. He was very generous with his knowledge - from tips on how to avoid blisters, fitting your rucksack properly to the best places to pose for photos, botany, history, geology and everything in between. He was always incredibly encouraging and helpful, keeping the safety of the entire group at the forefront of his mind and dealing with unforseen incidents calmly and practically as they arose. Overall, this was a great trip, if anything it was over too soon. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone - bearing in mind you have to have a good level of fitness and endurance and be happy with communal sleeping, eating and sanitary facilities and not fussy about food. It was absolutely memorable and great value for money.

My brother and I have just returned from the 4-day Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights tour, and we can’t recommend this trip highly enough! In those 4 days we have made memories that will last a lifetime. Alongside the breathtaking scenery, and the sense of achievement from hiking across 3 countries in 4 days, we will remember evenings spent with new friends and our amazing guide, Guy, whose enthusiasm and smiley character made the trip even more enjoyable. I did the 4-day Matterhorn trek and it was great! It was my first trek and oh man- what an experience!! It was difficult but super rewarding. The huts were comfortable and we ended everyday with good company and a few beers. Our guides, Ben and Sandy, were knowledgeable, encouraging, and VERY patient. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to try another!

Just got back from the 4 day TMB trip and wow wow wow - every moment was amazing! Great prior communication, smooth pick up. I was slightly concerned by the group size and only one guide but Mark was incredible from start to finish and everything in between. Weather wasn’t always on our side so it’s important to take the full packing list. Personal fitness is definitely important as this isn’t an easy trek. Sleeping huts were clean and all part of the experience. Food was great (they tried very hard to cater to my allergies). I really REALLY recommend this trip and alps adventures - I’ll definitely be joining another as soon as I can!

I have just come back from 4 days TMB. What an amazing trip! Very well organised, guided by Guy M- very experienced, knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humour 😊amazing bunch of people to walk with, I loved every minute of the trip and would highly recommend alps adventure for any mountain lovers! Just returned from an unforgettable four-day journey on the Matterhorn Highlights Tour in Switzerland with Alps Adventures.

Tom G. was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, kind, patient, and humble, with just the right touch of humor to keep the group smiling through every climb. This is my second trip with Alps Adventures, and once again, they exceeded expectations.

From the awe-inspiring scenery to the perfect mix of physical challenge and camaraderie, the experience was truly special. The group dynamic was fun and supportive, and the organisation was flawless—comfortable mountain huts, delicious meals, and every detail thoughtfully handled.

Highly recommend Alps Adventures for anyone looking to create lifetime memories in the mountains. I’ll definitely be back!

I just returned from a 4 day trip
in Switzerland with a brilliant guide Tom G. The trip was very well organised with wonderful people who made the experience much fun. Tom is very experienced guide, very patient with everyone and easy to communicate with. I recommend the trip to everyone who is an adventurer and wants to explore beautiful Swiss Alps.

I have just completed the Tour du Mont Blanc four day hike with Alps Adventures (via Skyhook).

This was my first guided hike as I am usually solo up the mountains/long hikes so I was concerned in the lead-up to the trip that I may hold everyone up (I was one of the oldest, not used to hot weather/high altitude plus I am very slow on descents due to dodgy eye).

However, due to the vast knowledge and support from our guide, Grigor Wallace, I got through it! Without making me feel like a hindrance, he ensured that I did not feel rushed on some tricky areas and was always offering his hand if he felt I may need it. His passion for what he does is palpable and he is an asset to Alps Adventures.

We were in safe hands with a good driver!

The tour is very well organised and Grigor would regularly update us with weather alerts, the route, terrain and gradient as well as share his knowledge about the Alps, its history/famous climbers, the flora and local delicacies. Great sense of humour too!

The refuges were comfortable and welcoming but do not expect hot water if arriving late to a couple of them. A small sacrifice for an adventure though.

I enjoyed all of the food and you did not go to bed hungry. One of our team was gluten free and I noticed that each refuge accommodated this no problem.

We experienced all weathers ranging from intense heat to freezing rain and gales so do listen to the advice and ensure that you are prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

It is an intense four days and, for me, challenging, but with a good guide, a great group of fellow hikers (some of whom will now be friends for life), spectacular views which literally take your breath away, I would say it was the best adventure I have ever had.

What an amazing 4 day trip round Mont Blanc! If you’re considering it, definitely do it! I am already planning the next one! Grigor, our guide, was amazing. He’s so kind and patient and makes sure he gets to know everyone in the group. He’s very knowledgeable of the mountains and made sure we were safe when the weather turned. I also learnt so much from him that I will take away for future hikes. I’d love to do it all again!

Have just returned from the mont blanc highlights tour. Fantastic! A steady, well paced walk over some tough sections of 4 days of stunning scenery. Our guide, Tom G was both informative and fun, and had excellent knowledge of the hikes. He also recommended some other brilliant hikes and biking trails back in the UK. Thanks alps adventures.

Wow!! I have Just returned from an amazing TMB 4 day trek which was brilliantly organised by Alps adventures. If you are considering this trip just book it!!! It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had from the breathtaking scenery to the belly laughs with new found friends, we will definitely be booking another trip with Alps Adventures next year.
Special mention to our guide for the trip Grigor his experience, knowledge and passion for the mountains is truly fantastic, keeping us all safe on day two, picking us up when things got tough also your great sense of humour you made this trip so enjoyable for us all thanks so much!

Me and my husband recently completed Tour Du Mont Blanc Highlights hiking , and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience.
Our guide Tom G was fantastic: professional and supportive.
The group spirit was amazing.

Utterly fantastic trip with wonderful walks and views. All organised beautifully and a hosted by a brilliant tour guide ( Tom Goldstein). The alps Adventures guys all really looked after us and I will absolutely be coming back again. And again !!!!

I completed a trek to Mont de Blanc last week and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. From the very beginning, the arrangements were seamless — everything was thoughtfully planned, from the logistics and accommodations to the daily trekking routes and meals. The organization ensured that we could focus entirely on enjoying the trail and the stunning alpine scenery.

A special mention to our guide, Grigor, who truly made this journey extraordinary. He ensured everyone felt safe, supported, and encouraged throughout. His care, patience, and attention made all the difference.

If you’re planning a trek to Mont de Blanc, I wholeheartedly recommend this team — and if you’re lucky enough to trek with Grigor, you’re in the best hands!

I’ve just returned from the fantastic 4 day tour of Mont Blanc with my daughter . It was well organised , our lovely guides Ben and Sandy were very helpful , professional and made it fun with lots of laughter and were super supportive , as the hike for me was tough at times . I always felt encouraged and safe with them . We had a fantastic group of lovely people to share the experience with . The remote mountain hostels do the job, lots to eat and a few beers and a bed to sleep in . Pack light , wear the right gear , and if you are up for some breathtaking and varied views of the mountains , forests and wild flower meadows and a good leg stretch you will love it . I thought it was very good value for money and I would definitely book another trip with Alps Adventures. Thanks so much for an amazing experience.

Amazing trip. So well organised. Gregor is soo helpful and informative. He is there for everyone. The experience of staying at refugees is life changing .. book without any worry..
