I ordered a turmeric shea butter body scrub, and the superfood detox shampoo and conditioner bar duo. Unfortunately, they didn’t send the conditioner bar and I never received it.
I will start by saying the items that I did receive were great and it is a shame that it was over-shadowed by terrible customer service. If it was just the product I was reviewing I would give it 5 stars.
Now on to the bad bits.
26th February: I initially placed the order for the 3 items.
6th March: Items (apart from the conditioner) arrived. I understand that mistakes happen, and I emailed back noting that I did not receive the conditioner.
7th March: The initial response from Arcade was nice. They apologised and said they shipped the conditioner bar.
17th March: I received a note from Royal mail saying the sender didn’t pay for full postage and that I had to pay £3.50 to receive it. For reference, my actual order was £30.69 which included postage. I initially wasn’t sure if this was the conditioner bar as Royal mail didn’t provide any details. I emailed Arcade asking if this was the bar. (It likely was as I was not expecting anything else but I didn’t want to be rude and thought I’d check with them).
18th March: Since I did not receive a response, I followed up noting I was not willing to pay this additional postage as I had already paid for postage with the initial order. I then said I’d like a refund on the conditioner bar as I had not received it, unless they could sort it out by the end of the week. (I never paid that amount to royal mail, so the item would have been returned to Arcade).
19th March: I found a different email via Paypal and sent the email chain there asking if someone could please respond. I got a response apologising and noting they would check with Royal mail as it said it was ‘in transit’. They confirmed they would send a refund if they couldn’t get through to royal mail. (I was really happy just to get a response at this point).
20th March: I emailed asking if there was any update.
21st March: They responded noting royal mail weren’t helpful and that they have refunded the missing bar and sent another conditioned bar in the post. (I was happy thinking this ordeal was over and assumed the refund would arrive within the next week since most refunds say 3-5 days).
28th March: I still didn’t receive the refund or the conditioner bar. ( At this point it’s almost been a month since placing my first order and I just wanted my money back for the item not received). I emailed noting a week had passed since their last email and I didn’t receive the refund or item. This was a Friday, and I noted that I would be going through Paypal for the refund if I didn’t receive it by the Monday. (I still wanted to give them a chance to sort it at the time. I am now convinced that them sending a refund and conditioned bar was a lie).
I never received a response after this even through the Paypal claim. I had to eventually escalate the claim via Paypal and fortunately, Paypal gave me the refund on the 20th of April. I waited till this was resolved to write a review as I still wanted to give Arcade a chance to fix their mistake.
I have never had such a terrible experience with any company before. Just the stress of having to deal with this for almost 2 months... It is such a shame as I truly like the products that I did receive. However, as much as I like the products, I wouldn’t risk making a purchase again.
Looking at other reviews and my experience, I can only come to the conclusion that, if you do receive your items, its all good, but if you don’t, good luck!

I’ve found my new favourite
The ultimate glow balm is gorgeous, it feels so soft, warms in to an oily texture in your hands and just glides on to your skin, no pulling. It left my skin feeling soft and supple without any sticky feel.
The magnesium balm is lovely too, it’s too early to say whether it will help restless legs but I’ve slept better since massage it in to my legs at night
It was all well packaged with a cute thank you note and a little bag of sweets, nice touch

Oh I LOVE this cream, it smells absolutely gorgeous and I use it in all my aches and pains as well as my restless legs.
It’s perfect. And you get a lovely card and bag of sweets with every purchase too!

Bought the tumeric soap, Vera’s rub and a shampoo and conditioner bar! WOW WOW! Where to start’ ! The Soap leaves my skin amazing and smells unreal! Shampoo & conditioner lathers up and leaves hair like never before and the Vera’s rub .. is just heavenly !! I now want to buy/try every product ! New fave!

I am so amazed with my arcade skincare products. The glow balm and skin fix have been amazing and have made such a difference to my skin.
I am absolutely coverted to natural deodorant now, the essential oils smell so refreshing and it is totally gym and sweatproof. The tattoo balm is also so soothing. I can't wait to add more to my skincare collection. A fab friendly team too.

Delivery was quick and the products are incredible. A handwritten note was included as well as a little bag of sweeties - so thoughtful. We should all be supporting small companies like this one. Highly recommend. Happy customer for life.

I’ve been really pleased with Arcade Skincare. Their products are kind to my sensitive skin, especially the Cleansing Cream to Milk Balm, which works wonderfully for removing make-up and leaves my skin soft and clean. The reusable metal packaging is a bonus, both eco-friendly and great for travel. Delivery was quick, and overall, the customer service is excellent—always helpful in suggesting the right products. My skin condition has noticeably improved, and I love their wholesome, natural approach. Definitely worth trying!

I purchased more of the magnesium cream as it is excellent. The consistency is beautiful it sinks right into your skin and leaves no residue. The aroma is gorgeous and it definitely helps to reduce the level of my pain. I have M,E, and was surprised how beneficial this cream was. Products arrive quickly, beautifully boxed in recyclable packaging. A lovely personalised thankyou card is enclosed and a kind gift of confectionery also. Seller communication is excellent. Highly recommend this amazing magnesium cream and this company.
