I've received a response within the same day for every email I've sent - much better than some companies who leave you waiting days or weeks!

Great response time, came out within 24 hours of my washing machine breaking down. Was fixed the same day, highly recommended

WATCH OUT DOMESTIC ASSUREGUARD Iis not DOMESTIC & GENERAL

Scum ! Scum ! Scum !
DOMESTIC ASSURE GUARD phoned me masquerading as the long established DOMESTIC & GENERAL who I have had my kitchen appliance service plan with for over 8 years. The sales person said that as I had been such a good customer they could offer me a big monthly discount and a month free if I renewed my direct debit. I fell for it because they had my phone number, they knew all the items I have insured. A contract arrived, I noticed the name was slightly different so I phoned Domestic & General to ask if they had changed their name and of course they hadn't. It is impossible to get through on the phone to Domestic Assure Guard. In the small print of the contract it says you have a 14 day cooling off period but there is an admin charge of £25 to cancel. They chose the wrong person to scam with me, I will not give up on this BBC Watchdog, letter to my MP,national newspapers and social media. I have since read reviews where they have done this trick to elderly infirm people.DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ASSUREGUARD

Do not deal with these people

Do not deal with these people, they phone you pretending to be the company your domestic electrical appliances are insured with and asking you to renew and telling me it was going to be cheaper than the year before, unfortunately they caught me as I was going on holiday and I said OK, it wasn't until I arrived back home that I realized they were a different company from my insurers so had to go through all the hassle of cancelling the direct debit. Have reported them for fraud.

This appears to be a rogue company…

This appears to be a rogue company reinventing itself to keep under the radar. There is only access by email which fails. We thought it was the genuine D&G rebranded. But it seems to be a clever 'phone and get your money' scamming outfit. After allegedly 'renewing' the policy by us giving them £240'ish, they've just vanished into the ether. There are no responsive contact details.

Poor Customer Service

Tried to speak to The Complaints Department, as I felt I was misled when I agreed to continue my policy with the company. I was advised that:
'We don't have a Complaints Policy I can send you, well, not that I'm aware of...'
'Our complaints Department can't speak to you' Why? 'They don't have any telephones'
'I can't put you through to my manager as they are not here' - even though you just said you had just spoken to them??
' We do record some calls' - great, can you listen to my calls? 'No as we have just had a new system installed so we can't access that far back...to November'
Seriously? Could have been dealt with so much better. Needless to say, I have written to them, but I don't hold out any hope of a response. Have cancelled my policy. Very, very poor customer service experience - and that is the front line staff.
