To be honest, your suppliers arent too keen on how you behave with them.
Because I'd seen your reviews I didn't even come to you first, I tried to resolve my issues myself.
And when i did come to you, i believe you ignored me, threatened me, behaved in a way which .. had you owned a retail business where customer service and appropriate mannerisms are hugely valuable.

so while you're tugging on the few drib drab sales and stringing on for your life buying products for less that are damaged
or because your relationships in general are low quality.. it reflects in your communication and your moral behaviour
Staff belong in the trash. Never buy anything from them! They dont accept full refunds. They steal from people!!!

I did read the reviews but decided to give the benefit of the doubt as I prefer to support smaller businesses and I wasn't in a huge rush for the goods...it was the wrong decision.
I ordered 2 x Sanus speaker stands for Sonos speakers (my order number was #1000012909). I called on Tuesday prior to ordering to confirm if they were in stock and after a minute of checking I was told they were in fact in stock and so an order at that point would have meant my stands would be delivered on or by Friday. Order placed, money went out, confirmation email recieved (although it didn't show up in the account I then set up).
Friday came and by the early evening there was no delivery so I thought I'd just check on the tracking info by calling and was told they were just being loaded onto a vehicle and '24-48' delivery means from the point they send them it takes 24-48 hours (giving them carte blanche to take as long as they need) and the issue was the lack of stock. I pointed out the phone call on Tuesday and it was shrugged off witht he blame going to them being a small business whose online element is just an aspect of the business and so these things take time. In that call I was guaranteed that Monday they would be with me but I assumed then that Tuesday would be more likely.
Tuesday came and no parcel by midday so I emailed and called. They provided me with a tracking number which claimed a successful delivery by Evrit the night prior but that wasn't the case (my Ring cameras are evidence that nothing arrived) so I tried checking the full tracking info and it didn't accept my postcode. I reached out to Evri who kindly called me back and although they couldn't give me the address the tracking number related to, they did confirm it was not my address, not even close.
After many emails and calls back to Audio Visual World, they tried to gaslight me by saying Evri messed up the labels and must have delivered my goods to the wrong place, not being intelligent enough to realise that is not how that works and I now know that they lied to me and gave me someone else's tracking number (which I had asked to clarify several times by email to "Jodie King" and on the phone to a young man). It is worth noting that the way the tracking number was provided was a copied exert from an email, who to? I have no idea as they never sent me any tracking information via email until I had chased a week later.
After pointing out I had seen through their tracking/delivery promise lies they said they'd just send some more out to me (no extra fee), confirming that they never sent my items in the first place. I asked for a full refund and was told to email it accross. My emails, to this point, were replied to with great speed but, all of a sudden, silence. I had been ghosted and wanted my £90 back. So I contacted my bank, explained how shady the company is, that the people associated with it seemingly have no official online presence, that the company associated with their VAT number that leads to a company and probably person called Rajwant Singh was dissolved earlier this year, combined with the awful and likely very true reviews of this company, and they got me my money back within 30 minutes.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS! I cannot stress this enough, these are lying scam artists who may have some genuine products to sell but it is not worth the risk and they will lie to you over and over, pass the blame on to others, and gaslight you to get you off the phone and keep your money.
To anyone from Audio Visual World that read this, you should honestly be ashamed of the way you run whatever 'business' you're running there!
Edit: The label on the parcel is irrelevant as the tracking number associated with my account and therefore my label was not the one given to me. This was either disingenuous or incompetent, maybe a bit of both.
The refund was only issued because I got the fraud team at my bank involved.
Edit 2: After edit 1 I got a call from 'Ray' who I assumed is Rajwant Singh and he was threatening me because I left a fully justified 1 star review due to their terrible service. Any company that calls a customer from a private number to threaten and verbally abuse them should not be in business. He called me a lot of names, swore a considerable amount, and fully crashed out.

I ordered an item from their website last Wednesday and paid for 24h shipping. By Friday AM it still hadn't been dispatched so I called them. They admitted they hadn't had it in stock but it would be delivered to them and dispatched to me later that day, for delivery on Monday.
It's now the following Tuesday. No sign it's been sent. They've taken payment but my email chasing it up has been ignored and when I try to call I just get the answerphone.
I wanted to support a small company but the service here has been cr*p and I'd have got the product quicker and cheaper from Amazon without being given the runaround.
Edit: incredibly, when I called up (and they finally answered the phone) they just kept telling me I had to email a complaint *even though* I kept pointing out my email had been ignored.
He also admitted it hadn't been sent on Friday, so they were lying when they promised it'd be dispatched then. He said it would go out today instead. He said he would email me a tracking ID but has not done so yet, so this seems doubtful.
The guy refused to put me in touch with a manager, then refused to explain why it was impossible for him to do so, simply repeating "we're an online only company and you have to email" every time I told him it didn't respond to the email.
Eventually he told me it was my fault we were going round in circles(i.e. me asking to make a complaint and him refusing to provide any functioning way to do so) then hung up on me.
Edit 2: even the contact form on the company's website is broken. They sent an automated email saying "There was an error while attempting to deliver your message..." - even though I hadn't emailed that time. I tried once again to phone and yet again that obnoxious man refused to escalate the problem, claiming again it was beyond his "remit", and that he refused even to tell his manager about it. He claimed I made him "sick" and then put the phone down on me again.
Finally, judging by AV World's response to other reviews on TrustPilot they'll likely try to claim this was all my fault. Ask yourself this - would you want to deal with a company that makes you wait ages for your "24 hour delivery" product, insults you and hangs up when you keep trying to register a complaint and never, ever admits it's done something wrong?
Absolutely DISGUSTING business with rude, unhelpful, dishonest, aggressive staff. Avoid at all costs.
Cannot reply to their response but, I ordered it to a taxi rank because that’s my place of work… it’s a 24 hour work place so it’s guaranteed to be dropped off to someone trusted since all the other reviews say they pay for tracking and your company does not provide them. I also order everything else to my workplace as I work through the day and most deliveries happen through the day so I’d rather get my order than miss it.
I check my emails on a regular and when I checked my emails no email came from your company. your call handler said he emailed me saying he had no stock of what I ordered. so first of all you allowed a new customer to purchase a subwoofer knowing full well you had no stock? you emailed me after 7pm on the same day of the phone call… if the delivery address was such a big problem why do big brands accept my orders? or maybe reach out to confirm this is a legit order.
So if my order seemed suspicious why tell me the item I ordered was out of stock? and why not ask me why I’m ordering to a taxi rank? You make excuses to call my review false?
you’re one of the worst rated companies… no actual building to your company and most reviews are 1 star… but the very few good ones convinced me to order..
So in conclusion your company is bullshit, you’re a liar, your staff on the phone is a liar.
don’t put things on your website that you can’t provide.. then lie on the phone and then also reply to my bad review saying it was a dodgy order.
Will make sure people stay away from this shit company.

I dont normally write reviews but from all the negative ones on here i must make a comment about this company, i ordered a pair of hertz sx 165 speakers on the 7th June and received them 5 days later as they promised, a brilliant company to buy from and no hassle, I would recommend them to anybody, i will use this company again in the future.

My experience was actually quite good!
I don't normally provide reviews but due to the sheer volume of negative reviews on this website I thought I'd share my experience.
I purchased a set of speakers for my car, AVW offered the cheapest price available online. I purchased with their next day shipping option and the item arrived within 48hrs.
My only criticism of the service was the poor communication and lack of promised tracking information.
I received my items in good time and perfect condition.

I researched the internet for a new car radio and decided on the model that would be best for me. I then searched for the best price for the Kenwood Model BT960DAB and Audiovisualworld had it in stock at the cheapest price by a few pounds. Unfortunately I didn't research the seller or I would never have bought from them.
It arrived quickly but on opening the box realised that the DAB aerial was missing, so I emailed them asking for the missing aerial to be sent, their reply was that I had ordered the version on their website that did not include the aerial and if I want it it will be £5 + £9.99 carriage. The Kenwood Model BT960DAB includes the aerial, it says so on the box and in the instructions, to remove something from the item in order to sell it cheaper is at best underhand, at worst Fraud. I'm not going to waste any more of my time on this but will be reporting them to Trading Standards.
Be warned!

I’m really disappointed with my experience with Audiovisualworld. After being messed around for over 4 weeks regarding a return, they only gave me a 75% refund — keeping 25% without clear explanation, despite the item being returned in perfect condition. On top of that, I had to pay for the return postage myself.
The delay and unfair deduction from the refund made the whole process unnecessarily frustrating. Definitely wouldn’t recommend based on this experience

Dreadful company to deal with and have been left feeling ripped off by them. I would not recommend this company and will never use them again. I ordered a stereo head unit adaptor for £230 from AVW who sent me an adaptor with the wrong wiring harness included, so it could not be used. I imediately contacted them to inform them of the mistake and request an exchange or refund. I was told by Jodie at AVW that they do not do refunds, but that they would exchange the item as a good will gesture. However unfortunately, the wiring harness required was out of stock for 12-weeks and that they would contact me when it was back in stock. I accepted this and gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently and heard nothing. I checked online and after 10-weeks they were selling the part I needed again online but had not contacted me. So, I emailed them and asked for my exchange. They said they would not exchange the item, and I would have to buy it again. They refused to change this position.
This is completely unacceptable and in breach of the consumer rights act which this company do not care for or adhere to.

Please, please, don't buy from them m( Audio visual world) I bought the wrong car stereo with them for £384 and I would like to return it within 2 days after receiving the item they completely refuse and anytime I called to speak with them they will hang the call on me several times. I have to dispute it from my bank, I learned it the hard way they are very doggy and conning. I was toldif I didn't want it I should keep it. Don't buy from them.

Very reactive at coming back to questions, replied quickly with an alternative radio when first unit was sold out.
I had some issues getting the radio to work but that was down to my fault and thanks to their quick response to questions i was able to get the unit powered up and running. Radio is excellent and good value for money

Do not use them, they send an email that says i will be sent another one with a tracking number but did not get sh*t.
My package was “dispatched”on 22/01/25 Wednesday, today is Saturday but nowhere to be seen.
Paid £10 for next day delivery service.
Item received without tracking number provided, not happy.

I made an order on Saturday for a car speaker set. The price was good and the company seems reliable so why not.
Monday, I received an email saying the pricing on their website wasn't correct and asked for additional payment. I wasn't too sure about the price so I asked for clarification. They called me on phone while I was driving. The pricing sounded ok so I said great send me the payment link I'd have a look.
When I got time to look at the numbers, I found them to be actually more expensive than other retailers and therefore asked for a cancellation. At first, as a courtesy, I explained I wanted to cancel (1st attempt) because their price was higher after the requested additional payment with a screenshot showing the other retailer's price.
They ignored my original screenshot (sloppy but ok) and asked for a proof. I resent the screenshot, but then they ignored the other retailer got free 3-day shipping and tried to say they're still cheaper compared to the competition + fast shipping (really?). I requested again for a cancellation (2nd attempt) but also politely explained the other retailer had free 3-day shipping and I don't need fast shipping so they're still more expensive.
After that they tried match the cost, to which I said no and just cancel (because i was so fed up - 3rd attempt). Lastly they said they would 'beat the competition' by a whopping 4 whole British pounds. Obviously this is a huge saving but I, again, would be very to pay more to the other retailers because of the whole experience. There I made my 4th cancellation request.
Because they have repeatedly ignored my cancellation requests, I talked to my bank to file a dispute. When I sent over the evidence, the whole email correspondence is so long that i had to make 5 screenshots.
The annoying thing is, I was forced to that email communication because: (1) they ignored, multiple times, my requests to cancel, and (2) they have a phone number on their website but no one picked up every time I called - trust me I tried at different times.
The whole debacle took me 10 emails, 1 phone call (from them - I could never reach them), and 4 hours.
2 Stars as at least they cancel my order rather than having me to go through with the bank dispute...
Response to seller's comment: no valuable resources would have been wasted if you had cancelled the order and issue a refund when I first requested it. That happened after 1 phone call and 2 emails of clarification when I found the price to be worse than I first made the order.

Great service, product i wanted was unfortunately out of stock once I ordered it but they rectified it instantly, I paid for it at 7pm and received it by 10am the next day, wonderful service. Very competitive price for a comp r and works perfectly fresh out the box, very happy customer.

Products arrived swiftly and at the best price I could find online. Contacted them to ask some questions answered promptly and offered good advice. Only issue was I didn’t receive any tracking for the goods but they came when they advised they would so no real problem there. From my experience I would 100% use them again for the price alone.
Shocking service.
Whilst googling the products I was looking for audio visual world came up, and with a good price and quick postage (at £20) I put my order in- this was the Wednesday, and very quickly afterwards I received an email confirming the order, and then the dispatch notification.
I hadn't received anything by the Friday so contacted them. At first they thought I had already received it, but then let me know that the order had been sent to an address in Essex (I am based in Wales) and that they will get a replacement order out straight away.
Again, I got an email stating it had been dispatched.. I requested the tracking number- later that day a number was received.
It is now Monday afternoon, and the tracking number provided still doesn't appear on the DHL system, so I have requested a refund as the items won't arrive in time- their response is that they will not give a refund.
I am now being forced to get my money back via the bank.

I DID GET MY PRODUCT AND AT A GOOD PRICE. 3 STARS ONLY AS POOR COMMUNICATION DESPITE MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO REACH THEM . I REQUESTED TRACKING BUT DID NOT RECEIVE IT. I SEE NO REASON NOT TO BUY JUST BECAUSE OF THIS . THEY HAVE THE BEST PRICES AVAILABLE.
I've never had the displeasure of dealing with a company so incompetent and disreputable in equal measure.
This is my experience of AVW so far:
1. I ordered over £2k of audio equipment from AVW
2. The items arrived 14 days later in a heavily battered box with a large hole in it (no packing material used whatsoever, just a bunch of expensive equipment bouncing around inside)
3. One of the items was not as described (they sent a 2-way speaker set instead of a 3-way speaker set)
4. Upon ringing them, the chap on the phone didn't know what to do, got confused and asked me to write them an email instead.
5. They responded to my email by saying they would be happy to exchange for the 3-way item if I paid the difference and that the description was due to "a typo"
6. After some back and forth, including them accusing me of knowing the item I ordered wasn't a 3-way set even though it was described as such, I ultimately decided to rejected the offer for exchange and requested they paid for return postage given the item was misdescribed.
7. Their response was "Because we supplied you with the correct model number we are not liable for your return cost." - despite admitting the item description was incorrect.
8. Upon receiving the returned item they initially claimed "At no point did we agree to accept them back." and "They will be sent back to you"
9. Upon referring them to the email where they told me to return the item, they now claim the item was opened (it wasn't) and "this class it as not in brand new condition so unsellable"
The conversation is still ongoing.
Frankly, the £7 it cost me to return the item is not worth my time pursuing and I would have dropped it but given their frankly disgusting attitude and complete disregard for consumer rights it is now a matter of principle.
