I needed to notify a change to my medical status prior to travel and the agent was very helpful on modifying my policy.

My experience is similar to other responses. The USA helpline does not work when you have a hospital emergency as we had in June. The internal communication is non existent. You are hung out to dry to deal with a hospital looking for treatment payment. I filed a complaint and despite a few placatory responses my issues are unresolved after eleven weeks. Avoid this company at all costs. Do not get fooled by the competitive policy price.

Following this review I was asked by AvantiGo to provide details of my complaint so that the appropriate department could follow up. That was two weeks ago and I have heard nothing. It’s now over three months since I first tegistered my complaint with no resolution or contact other than they will get in touch.
I also noticed that my original Trustpot review was missing so I am reinstating it.

I hope that I’m never going to actually review this service as that would mean something had gone seriously wrong whilst we were on holiday.
Good price and hopefully suits all our needs. Keeping fingers crossed that will never have to find out how good the service is

The person I spoke to was very helpful and delt with my query efficiently.

I rang the helpline to add an existing condition, that didn’t seem to be covered by the medical questions. The advisor, I spoke to, was very helpful, and the condition was added, at a small extra cost.

Mostly efficient but I found the constant change of pricing difficult to comprehend. Price seemed to change each time I checked it out!

Easy to use online platform and good prices

Whilst in Turkey my husband fell poorly and was taken into the local clinic where he received treatment over two days. AVANTI Go were so good on the telephone when I rang them from the clinic and everything was dealt with between clinic and Avanti Go direct. The pressure was taken off straight away. Very throughly recommend

Simply but clearly presented questions on health issues.

Had to make contact by telephone twice, staff helpful and polite however one person’s speech was not clear so I had difficulty in understanding what they were asking me. Very frustrating. Overall a good experience.
