today me and my partner visited the derby store as first time expectant parents, we had Ellie show us how to set up and dismantle the pram we had chosen. she was incredibly patient, supportive and very willing to help. she answered any and all questions we had so we opted to buy on the day after feeling incredibly confident as to how to use this safely and efficiently after demonstration. Thank you ellie! :)

However Susan spoke to her a few times great advice which is non biased of products. Really helpful and good prices.

I spent over £1,300 with Baby Planet and have experienced nothing but problems.
Their website allowed me to book a Sunday delivery that they don’t even offer. One of my car seat bases wasn’t dispatched, and nobody informed me that the pram adaptors had been recalled and would be unavailable until after I chased them.

I originally came across Baby Planet at a baby show and felt confident placing a large order based on that experience, which makes the outcome even more disappointing.

Instead of taking ownership, I felt my concerns were repeatedly questioned, despite the issues being caused by their own mistakes. The communication throughout has been poor, and the customer service has been even worse.

To top it all off, after all the stress and inconvenience, they offered me a £30 store credit only which I refused as I will never order from here again.

Mistakes happen. Refusing to take responsibility and treating customers this way is unacceptable. I will never shop with Baby Planet again and would strongly encourage others to think twice before spending their money here.

Ordered a nursery furniture set a month ago and have been messed around with the delivery date constantly. Have wasted 2 days off of work waiting for the delivery to turn up because they have told me its coming on those set days and then the delivery company have contacted me both times to say the delivery has been cancelled at the last minute as they haven't received the items from BabyPlanet. No words from BabyPlanet either time until I reached out to them asking why this is happening, and still no reasonable explanation. Find another site to order from, this site is an absolute con!

This company have still to refund me from a returned order in January. They have lied and showed a refund to an account which does not belong to me or was never used to make the payment. Finally in June they replied saying sorry they forgot to refund me then since then have told me they have refunded it to an account and showed me the last 4 numbers which is no card or mine which I explained. I was then told days ago to give my number so a manager could call, since then there has been no phone call and 5 ignored emails. This company are absolute scammers, from forgetting to refund me since January to kidding on they have refunded me to ignored emails they are a disgrace. AVOID THIS COMPANY

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and helpful information, lots of personalised support and no pressure felt to buy at the time. We since came back and have purchased our full travel system and will probably return for our nursery furniture.

Rubbish DO NOT order from here or Baby Planet at The Baby Show

I wanted to share my experience with my recent purchase of a Silver Cross Breez Travel Bundle from the Baby Show at ExCeL London, where payment was taken through Baby Planet.

I placed my order on 7 March 2026 after being advised delivery would take 6–8 weeks. Instead, the order was significantly delayed, with the chassis, carry cot and car seat arriving separately over an extended period.

* 7 March 2026 – Order placed at the Baby Show ExCeL London.
* Promised delivery – 6–8 weeks.
* 15 May 2026 – Chassis delivered.
* late May/June – Bassinet and car seat delivered separately.
* After 4–5 uses – Chassis developed a rattling fault.
* Current – Chassis being collected for inspection/repair; replacement in mean time? NO
* still waiting for carrycot stand to arrive likely August now.

After only approximately 4–5 uses, the pram chassis developed a fault and now has to be collected for inspection or repair. I have also been informed that the carry cot stand has been delayed until Aug for delivery likely, meaning I still do not have the complete bundle I paid for.

I appreciate that delays and faults can happen, but I am extremely disappointed by the overall experience, particularly given the premium price of the product. As a new parent, having a reliable travel system is essential, and this experience has caused significant inconvenience and frustration. No compensation, no form of alternative.

I have now submitted a formal complaint to Baby Planet and Silver Cross and hope they will resolve this matter promptly and fairly. I will update this post with the outcome.

I’m sharing this so that other parents are aware of my experience when making purchasing decisions. NB Silver cross is manufactured at the Venicci factory, I would buy from them instead if I had the choice.

I ordered a car seat 2 weeks ago. Website says dispatch and delivery within 3 days. I have had no tracking or updates and nobody is answering the phone.
Do not trust this drop shipping company. They clearly don't hold stock.

Sue was very helpful, showed us everything we needed and explained everything, very helpful! Made the experience a lot easier and stress free!

We visited the Derby store and would highly recommend. The support that was provided was incredibly helpful and we got an amazing bundle price.
