We have been so very pleased with all the work done, absolutely no mess at all, in fact apart from now having the base for our new garage you wouldn't know anyone had been here!.
It is worth every penny and extremely reasonable for all the work involved.

Fantastic experience with Back To Bases laying a large concrete base for us. The team were absolutely fantastic, they checked in to make sure position was just right, etc. at various stages. They worked fast but were so skilled with it. Cleaned up after themselves leaving everything neat and tidy. And on top of all that they were all round friendly and great guys. Needed a concrete base put in garden area, for a shed to rest on. The shed company recommended Back to Bases. I emailed them what I needed. They replied the same day, and after a few questions gave me a price for a concrete slab, The price was very competetive, so I agreed and was given a date for installation in ten days.
The guys doing the work arrived early, explained what they were going to do and where it would be situated. The two were very friendly, polite and made a point of making sure I was satisfied when they left three hours later. I will call them again to fit a ramp I will need in the future. I heartily recommend this company, very professional, very competitive prices with excellent staff working for them.

Back to Bases were brilliant. I needed a 12x10 base for a new shed on piece of ground which was a mixture of bare earth, bricks and slabs. Nothing was a problem and the team got stuck in without any issues. Good communication throughout, and they checked with us that we were happy with the positioning before commiting concrete.

I was impressed with the standard of the materials and work, plus they were all done in a single day! They removed all waste and cleared up as if they'd never been here. A top quality job that looks as if it'll last a lifetime. Thanks fellas.

The Company was asked to replace my fence and I was told it would be done within week. True enough Jooey came to do the job and between 7 am and 14.00 it was completed. The fence looks great and I thank Jooey for a superb job.

Back to Bases did a great job removing my old shed which was part brick. They cleared all the old brick work and cement leaving a clear area for my new shed delivery . They also created a soak way at the back to ensure water from the sloping garden behind mine, did not cause water pools . Very professional and great at tidying up and removing all debris . A great job thank you all👍🏼

Communication from all the team including Darren and Emma was excellent and kept us up to date with details before the work was started. Joey turned up on time and chased deliveries of the products and skip to ensure they arrived promptly.
Joey took down our existing wooden fencing and posts surrounding our garden and installed new concrete posts and composite fencing.
Joey was extremely hard working and professional. His attention to detail was excellent. He finished the work on time and our new fencing looks wonderful.

Back to Bases were recommended to us by Stuart at Essex Flat Pack; he was installing a Dunster House log cabin for us and said that Back to Bases would lay us a base "as flat and level as a snooker table".
Darren and the team well and truly delivered. The base was smooth, level and well laid, meaning the cabin went up really smoothly.
I will definitely consider Back to Bases for any future Bases, groundwork or hard landscaping projects.

I had a concrete base installed for my log cabin today and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the work from the team at Back to Bases.

The three builders who came were brilliant — very polite, hardworking and clearly took pride in what they were doing. They worked with me throughout the job to make sure I was happy with everything, talked me through the levels, and made adjustments where needed so the base would sit perfectly with the garden.

They left the area spotless when they finished, which I really appreciated. It’s not often you get trades who are this respectful and tidy.

The base looks fantastic and the whole experience from start to finish has been smooth and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Back to Bases to anyone needing groundwork or a concrete base done properly.

Very happy with the concrete base laid by Backtobases from my new shed. The guys were very polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and tidy, got to the property earlier that expected which is always a bonus. I definitely would not hesitate to recommend Backtobases and would use again for any future projects. From start to finish always helpful, nothing was too much.One very happy customer.

I required two concrete bases for an 18x10ft log cabin and 8x6ft shed, along with patio and path running down the garden. Darren was excellent in his communications, and understanding our requirements. This shone through when his team worked on site, as there was very little need to check in with me and my requirements. They just cracked on! They were polite and respectful throughout, and left the site tidy each night (something which other tradespeople don't always do!). Overall, very pleased with the service and quality of workmanship.

Tidy work

I had a shed base, paving and some block edging installed and I’m very pleased with the final result. The guys worked very hard in cold and sometimes wet conditions to keep it on track so that my shed could be installed on time. Happy to recommend!

Back to Bases demolished an old shed, and installed a new base for a new shed (on top of the old base), and they were very flexible and professional. The new base was non-standard dimensions and in a tight corner, and they coped with it. They did things on time and worked quickly, and the end product seems good.
