Return flight got canceled right after my arrival at the immigration in Ha Noi. Everyone next to me was affected by the cancelation without them providing ANY solutions.
After several attempts to get a response, they promised to pay refund after 90 days. Now after 114 days, no money transferred, no reaction. Acting deaf and dead.

My recent attempt:

Dear Sir or Madam of Bamboo Club by Bamboo Airways,

We kindly request that you respond to our recent emails and provide sincere solutions.

Additionally, we would like to remind you of something our elders have taught us: Not responding, not providing any service to customers, telling untrue stories, and taking people's money without providing a decent service (operating a flight) is, by both international and mutual human law, a crime. It is no different from robbing people on the streets.

In the meantime, we have contacted law firms and are preparing the next steps in this legal matter.

If you wish to maintain your reputation within the international (Vietnamese) community, we highly recommend taking action by responding to our emails and transferring the refund you promised to pay by May 3rd, 2024, as soon as possible.

Dear Bamboo Airways Senior Leadership Team,

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint about the unacceptable treatment I experienced on my May 21st flight from Danang to Ho Chi Minh City. The entire journey was marred by incompetence and negligence. My wheelchair-bound mother was denied necessary assistance, left waiting unattended for an hour. Ground staff, particularly the airport manager, were unprofessional and disrespectful.

I demand a formal apology, disciplinary action against involved staff, and assurances of corrective measures. Without prompt resolution, I will escalate this matter with Vietnamese authorities and pursue international legal action.

I booked a flight last year through Opodo to fly with Bamboo Airways, Tokyo to Hanoi. The flight was cancelled by the airline in October 2023 and I was asked by Bamboo Airways to confirm whether I would like a refund, and that it would take 90 days to process this if I selected this option.

I confirmed to the airline and Opodo that I would like my money back. It's now been over 6 months since my refund request was submitted (01.11.2023). I have sent multiple emails to the airline and been told to contact Opodo, who tell me I need to contact the airline directly. It's been extremely difficult to get hold of Bamboo Airways and my emails have not been answered. I was even told to contact them via Facebook Messenger, which I did, and they were no help at all.

I have been waiting long enough for my money to be refunded and I am really not happy with the service I have received.

On an internal trip in Vietnam our tickets (4 of us) were refused because tne names were not complete. We had to buy 4 new tickets at a higher price and there was no refund for the tickets we had already buy. We felt robbed !!!

Bamboo Airways is scammy company. Waiting more than half year for refund for cancelled flight. They dont comunicate through email or call centre. I wasted one day of my holidays in Hanoi in their Office just to listen lyes. My booking reference is QF23MF. I will review them on other platforms too, because they didn't give me other choice.

Rückflug von Ho Chi Minh nach Frankfurt wurde storniert, ich erhielt jedoch keine Info. Konnte lediglich auf einmal nicht mehr auf meine Buchung zugreifen. Versuche seit 4 Monaten die Erstattung des Flugpreises zu bekommen, zwischenzeitlich war meine Mailadresse seitens Bamboo gesperrt. Kein erreichbarer Kundenservice. Absolute Frechheit. Finger weg!

Leider kann ich diese Airline überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Meine Flüge wurden gestrichen und ich konnte keinen Kontakt zu ihnen herstellen. Weder per E-Mail noch per Telefon habe ich eine Antwort erhalten. Obwohl sie versprochen haben, sich zu kümmern, ist nichts passiert. Selbst der Chatbot blieb unbeantwortet. Sogar Schadensmanagementunternehmen wie Airhelp sehen kaum Chancen, wenn es um diese Airline geht. Daher empfehle ich, lieber bei einer anderen Airline zu buchen, um sich den Ärger und den Verlust des Geldes zu ersparen.

Man kann vor dieser Airline eigentlich nur eindringlich warnen. Wie so viel hier hatten auch wir einen Inlandflug nach PhuQuoc gebucht, der zwei Wochen vorher storniert ersatzlos storniert wurde. Das war im Dezember. Seitdem versuchen wir an unser Geld zu kommen. irgendwann hatten wir eine Mail bekommen, dass die Bearbeitungszeit 90 working days dauert!,,,,,
Gestern bekamen wir die Information dass Geld sowieso nicht zurückbezahlt wird, sondern wir jetzt ein Guthaben haben das wir für eine neue Buchung verwenden können. Ganz schlechter Witz!
Man sollte die wirklich verklagen, denn das hat alles Methode. Fliegen tun sie allerdings sehr wohl, das haben wir in Vietnam gesehen.

Terrible airline, I would not recommend it to anyone. They have cancelled my flight in November 2023 and to this day, they haven’t refunded me.

NO REFUND, NO MONEY BACK AND NO RESPONSE AFTER CANCELLING MY FLIGHTS

0 stars! We booked flights from Frankfurt to Vietnam in August. 3 weeks before they were canceled unexpectedly and no matter what you try, we still don't have the money back! No service and no alternative was provided by Bamboo Airways but they still keep our payment. Worst airline!

Booked an international round trip ticket with direct flights between Frankfurt and Saigon with flights to Vietnam on 14 December and flights back booked for 18 January. Then we were informed in November that Bamboo Airways had cancelled our trip as a result of an internal restructuring of the company, with the promise that the money we had paid for our tickets back in April 2023 would be fully refunded. In mid-December, we received an email saying that our refund had been processed but now, 2.5 months later, we are still waiting for our money to be reimbursed. We have emailed Bamboo numerous times but have only ever received automated messages. Attempts to call the phone hotline have also been in vain. The number no longer seems to be in service. This lack of contact and lack of a reimbursement is outrageous. Please, Bamboo Airways, do the right thing: don't ignore your customers who booked with you in good faith. Get in touch and make good on your promise to reimburse our money!!!

Ho fatto un volo interno da Saigon a Con Dao, ed ero molto spaventata avendo letto tante recensioni negative.
Alla fine penso che sia stata solo la cattiveria di volersi vendicare per un volo cancellato, per cui: prenderela pure tranquillamente!

This airline company filed for bankruptcy protection in early 2023 in Vietnam but didn‘t notify customers and let people book their tickets as usual. In Oct 2023 they started to cancel all international flights and didn‘t reimburse most of the clients. People were furious but couldn‘t do anything as there is no class action law in Vietnam and customer protection is a joke. They ignore all phone calls and email, block comments on their facebook.

Man sollte Null Sterne abgeben. Meine Flüge im Dezember 2023 von Frankfurt nach Vietnam wurden von Bamboo storniert, aber das Geld 4444,- Euro, im August 2023 bezahlt, wurde bis heute nicht zurück bezahlt. Hinflug am 11.12.2023 QH74 und Rückflug 28.12.2023 QH79. Hilfe gibt es auch nirgendswo ...

Awful airline, avoid at all costs. My flight was cancelled by the airline 6 months a go and I'm still chasing a refund. There helplines do not work. Utterly useless.
