Very poor customer service
Terrible customer service. Ordered parasol 1 month ago and still waiting for missing part without which parasol is unusable. Missing part dispatched but status is marked as delayed for over a week with dhl and belveo now claim it’s been delivered despite me sending dhl tracking status as evidence to the contrary.
Good luck trying to contact them post your order. Reduced hrs for telephone calls and they rarely pickup. When the did I found it very difficult to communicate due to language barrier. When you email them they acknowledge receipt but then take days to respond and then state that any further correspondence via email will delay a response from then as it pushes the email down their list!!!!.
Net impact - no effective way of communicating them.
One month and counting and still can’t use my parasol.
Bitterly disappointed with the service. Need to get the basics right! Live chat for issues would be most welcome instead of really poor telephone and email service

Sadly, I'm writing this after having great service at the outset. What I ordered arrived promptly but having reviewed what landed, I have decided to return all of the products.
To be fair, it looks and feels like good quality though not tested fully as I didn't continue to unpack the stuff.
However and the main reason for such a low score is that the customer service element has since evaporated - tried chat, tried emailing, no phone number......zero communication. Really frustrating....and if the Belveo management team are reading this, please engage!

About a month back, I purchased a cantilever parasol. Its quality is exceptional, and it has held up well even in windy conditions. Initially, there was a missing part, but the support team was fantastic—quick to respond and sent the missing piece without any extra cost. Highly recommended!

Also makes a great umbrella for the rotary washing line!
We ordered the Windproof cantilever Parasol Mistral 3x3m and Parasol base on wheels - Charcoal grey
This shade also doubled up as an umbrella for the rotary washing line, this came by chance after the good lady asked me to get the washing in as it was raining. I then simply turned a handle and moved the shade over the rotary washing line and the washing dried even in the rain. This shade also tilts. It's a third of the cost for an awning and can be moved on the wheels if you buy the right base. I have tested this with wind speed near what the supplier says it will withstand and had no issues.
Bottom line, you pay good money you get quality.

Quality cantilever parasol
The cantilever parasol is of a good quality. However, the water chambers for the base are made of plastic and are difficult to screw the lids on. One lid did not fit at all so a replacement was sent without problem.

Large rectangular parasol
The product is good and it does allow the wind to blow through. The mast does move about a lot more than other parasols which I assume is normal. We ordered a higher grade parasol which was out of stock but I was provided with an alternative until the other is in stock . The base weights a large a fiddle to fill up but very sturdy.

We love our umbrella but we wanted to buy the holder too but it has been out of stock all summer. Trying to use our umbrella (and this year we have definitely needed to) without it has actually caused some damage which is such a shame.
A poor product with known issues combined with abysmal dismissive customer support! Honestly avoid this company.
I got drawn in by the fancy Facebook ads, as I was searching for a 3x4 Parasol, and the patented gimmicky wind resistance seemed good from the website. (Spoiler those wind spines are noisy in real world conditions and a solid cover is much better now I have a 4SO one!)
I saw the sign on the top of the website (which has now been removed probably because of me!) saying, "delivery within 5 working days". They didn't keep to this, and had zero apologies sighting that the courier "must have delays". Everytime I have contacted their customer support, they have been instantly dismissive, presumptuous, and try and close you down at the earliest opportunity. Customers are really an inconvenience to this company it seems.
The product itself once erected had a loud creaking noise coming from the crank at the slightest whiff of any wind. I sent them a video of this asking if it was normal, and was told "It is a known warranty issue". They offered to exchange the frame if I kept the canopy, which they promised was "easy to swap over", at the time the video of this was missing from their FAQ site. I then found it on their YouTube page. What I found was a job that required 2 adults with two step ladders to re-attach the canopy, hardly easy requiring tools and manpower!!
After establishing this company has zero goodwill for when they get things wrong, we agreed that the whole unit and base would be returned for a refund.
The unit was then collected by the courier they organised (luckily I kept the boxes!!) and they informed me it would take up to 10 days for the refund after collection.
After 12 days and no refund I emailed them to chase this up. 4 days later I had a kurt message starting with "Dear Client". Couldn't even be bothered to use my name!? And then asked me when it was collected as it hadn't reached their warehouse yet!?!? Why on earth they couldn't just pick up the phone to their own couriers I do not know!?
The person that sent me this message saw the error of their ways and said they would just issue the refund.
I am now the owner of a 3x4 4SO Hacienda - much better than this canopy and with solid customer support! They even delivered and set it up for me for free!
Belveo are rude and arrogant with a poor product. Honestly avoid them.

I bought a cantilever parasol and base from this company 2 years ago. I was very impressed the with the quality of the products and support service. I was talked through the inserting the parasol into the base as I didn’t have a clue despite the instructions. 2 years on contacted customer services for a replacement pice I had mislaid. They with little information tracked down the piece and had it sent out extremely quickly. Great company, wonderful service and excellent customersupport

Fantastic product. I love the ability to use cantilever mechanism in multiple positions and of course the wind resistance is brilliant. With the Parasol base on wheels it is so practical and easy to manoeuvre.
