Refunds taking months. Awful customer service
Awful customer service when it comes to refunds. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company, especially in these uncertain times.
We cancelled our Abu Dhabi trip in April following government advice not to travel. As there were 10 of us travelling, we chose a refund rather than rebooking. We were initially told refunds would take 4–6 weeks, which we accepted.
After waiting five weeks, I called for an update and was told my refund would not be processed until the week commencing 17 August—over 3½ months after cancellation. This was completely unacceptable and appeared contrary to package holiday and linked travel regulations who advise refunds should be given in 14 days.
Despite raising concerns about the way they were treating customers, including the pensioner grandparents in our group, Best At Travel refused to process the refund sooner.
My advice to anyone considering booking with Best At Travel is simple: don't.
We ended up initiating a charge back from our credit company, I wish I’d done this sooner. The process was straightforward, and I received my money back months earlier than Best At Travel said I would. However reading some of the reviews. I appreciate this process may not be for everyone, depending on when they are scheduled to get their refund.
To Best At Travel: I suggest you seriously review your refund processes and customer service if you want to retain customers. Looking at recent reviews, your handling of this situation has likely lost you a lot of repeat business including that of three sets of families in my booking. We will be booking future holidays with a company we can trust.

NO REFUND NO CALLS - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT BOOK
Best At Travel cancelled my April 2026 package holiday and told me my refund would take 8–10 weeks. I agreed to wait, but when that time passed, no refund arrived.
Since then, my emails have been ignored and customer services never answer the phone. I was eventually forced to do a credit card chargeback and nearly missed the chargeback deadline because of their delays and lack of communication.
Delays can happen, but making customers chase their own money while ignoring them is unacceptable. Very disappointing experience.
DO NOT BOOK WITH BEST AT TRAVEL! ZERO STARS!!
