Great service, Quick response

We ordered 5-75 dumbbells with two racks and a premium bench. We received 55-75, the bench, one rack and a sealed wooden shipping crate labeled "5-50+rack".

First, their advertised shipping timeframes are completely inaccurate, expect a number of weeks to wait for your order.

It would be *kinda* funny if it weren't a $2400+ ordeal, including $400+ in shipping. That the logistics company then couldn't even get it to our house because they sent the wrong size truck. (Hydrow had no issues the day before!) We had to drive down to meet them and have them transfer it all into our F150 with a pallet jack. We got the first half of the order off the truck, opened the crate assuming we couldn't lift it loaded, and pop the top off, completely empty.

You call their customer service number and they simply say "we'll get back to you."

Are you kidding me??? Did we get scammed?? How did they not realize the crate was empty!!?

Better Body got back to us the same day and shipped the missing pieces, they were again unable to reach our property through their logistics contractor, and we had to meet them ~25 minutes away and transfer the weights to our vehicle, hence the 4 stars.

The equipment is of high quality, seems to be well made.

Best place to purchase gym equipment. Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable.

I purchased the 5-50lb dumbbell set with rack, as well as the olympic plate rack. The quality is excellent and the price was fair. The racks are very sturdy with high quality welding and without unnecessary joints that could fail. The weights are pure rubber, with great grips, and are well balanced.

While upgrading my home gym, Better Body has provided the best customer service, hands down.

Support is domestic, polite and very responsive to any questions or issues. There was a minor hiccup, as the item i wanted was back ordered. Support was quick to respond, and we were quickly able to reach a resolution as I opted to wait for the product restock. They were communicative through out the wait period and were happily willing to provide incentive for the inconvenience.

Once the item was in stock, it was shipped express and arrived quickly just as stated. The packaging was overkill, but ensured three packages totaling nearly 200lbs arrived intact and without damage.

The squat rack ordered was much more heavy duty than expected. True 3x3 11ga and assembled with 1” bolts, washers and locknuts. You will need 1.5” wrench’s for assembly though, and the lock nuts do require some effort.

I initially decided on this product due to limited space, older home, low ceilings. The rack stands at 80”. Note here, the adjustable pull up bar sits under maximum height and was a perfect fit in the limited space I have to work with (81”).

Better Body provides excellent and prompt customer service, and their products are better than expected. You won’t find a heavier duty rack at this price point. Just make sure you have a large enough wrench to put it together.

I ordered the premium bench from Better Bodies. There was a flaw with the bench I ordered and it was missing some parts. I let them know, and they sent out a new bench very quickly. The communication was great and when I put the new bench together the product was great too. Thanks.

Customer service has been some of the best I've ever received. Even having a slight hiccup with the equipment didn't sour me because they acted quick and no hassle on replacing it.

Top notch customer service! Had a little mishap with one of the handles. Contacted customer service and after running through a few quality checks, another one was shipped promptly and actually arrived a few days ahead of schedule. The dumbbells themselves are impressive! They function exactly the way I expected them to. Such a space saver! 100% glad I made the decision to go with Betterbody!!!

My husband purchased the Better Body adjustable weights for us in 2021. I noticed recently when I was trying to adjust it to 30lbs that one of the holders had broke and it wouldn’t hold the weight. I contact Better Body via email with my issue, not expecting any support as it was well past the 2 year warranty and figuring I was going to have to pay for a repair and shipping. I received the standard “we have received your email..” that you get from all companies and expected it would take a few days for a response. In fact, I had a response within the hour. It was so professional and thorough. I sent the information requested and within the day I had another response to let me know it was received and that the CS rep would look into it. Within 48 hours (it only took that long because of the weekend) I had a response outlining everything the rep had done, the action the company was willing to take and had space for my input.I didn’t have to ask for anything, they left me with no questions and I had a way forward! Better Body didn’t have to do anything for me but they did! Despite being outside my warranty they willingly offered to provide me with a replacement handle providing I paid for the shipping. Did they cover the cost of everything? No…but they provided 100% the best customer service experience I have had in YEARS!! And they did more than they made it their priority to make sure I as taken care of. Lauren was so professional and quick to reply. She kept me informed and made me feel like part of the process and most importantly, like a valued customer!! I appreciate that the company truly values their customers and lives their values in taking care of them. I will definitely recommend Better Body to everyone!! I ordered a set of adjustable dumbells and a workout bench, and the order went through with payment accepted and a delivery fee of $75. I was ok with this as I am reasonable and it is heavier items. A few days pass with no updates and finally, 4 days later I get an email requesting I pay an additional $619.90!! Are you kidding me? I paid just over that for the equipment! Asked to cancel my order and still nothing. I had a truck cap shipped to my location for $100 and it was much heavier. Stay away!

Updated. Definitely haven't received any communication from this company regarding my refund. Called my credit card company and they have frozen the amount in question and they are investigating. I also left a review on Better Business Bureau to get the word out to avoid this company and its shady tactics.

"They repeatedly deceived me! Initially, they only shipped the rack ( I ordered a weight set with a rack!), acknowledging their website's severe misinformation. Eventually, they consented to a refund, contingent upon covering shipping expenses, assuring reimbursement within two weeks. Despite returning the rack, it's been over a month, and I've yet to receive any refund. Beware of this scam and steer clear!"
