I've bought bikes from BikesDirect for many years, including all the bikes my kids have had (they're all adults now). BikesDirect are, hands down, the best! You can't beat the price for the components you get.

We’ve bought 2 mountain bikes from BikesDirect.com and couldn’t be happier. After my wife saw mine she got one as well. Mine is a Gravity 26.5 and hers a 26. Much better than your Walmart/Target quality and not as expensive the $5000+ bikes that a professional would buy. We take these bikes all over the Lincoln National Forest trails and forest roads.

Recently I lost a nut for the derailleur and sent them an email Larry told me they didn’t carry them currently, but showed me which derailleur to get as well as identified which hanger I needed if I ever had to replace that. Super fast response on their email.

Best bike ever and the price unbeatable.

The bike was great quality and was easy to put together. Larry specifically helped us obtain a nut needed for assembly that we were missing.

Great customer service. Unfortunately received a bike that was damaged during transit, but emailed bikesdirect and received help almost immediately with replacement parts free of charge. Shout out to Larry (he's the one that helped me out).

Incredible value for money, frame and components are solid, just know that the brakes and gears come wildly out of tune, not even close, so expect another $80 to $120 for a quick tune.

Everything was great. First time purchasing and would gladly do it again. Got a great bike at a very reasonable price. I made a silly mistake when assembling; Larry was able to help me correct it within minutes of sending an email. Hands down one of the best companies I’ve worked with.

I've bought many Motobecanes from Bikes Direct for myself and family over the years. They've always been great bikes. I've had several crashes over the years and needed replacement parts and Larry has always been awesome to deal with. He's always had the replacement parts I've needed and the replacement cost is reasonable. Great service!

Larry was able to get me a replacement thru axle and guided me safely to remove the older damaged one!

Bad: the front fork arrived such that I could not put the wheel in the front fork. Good: Customer support explained that was because the front fork was twisted and how I could twist it back and it worked! They claimed it probably got twisted in transport but that seems unlikely to me or if it is true then you need to improve your packing. Good: Customer support also compensated me ($35) for twisting the front fork to the correct position. I understand that this saved the company money but I also appreciate it. Other: Some small things arrived needing corrections. No big deal. Middling: I noticed for the first time that bike's front and back wheels are not aligned with each other by a 0.5". There was a delay but I did get an answer. I was told that was normal. Look at it this way: the bike seems like a very good deal. Perhaps I should give 4*. Bikes generally seem very overpriced at bike shops and junky at big box stores. I appreciate that once I had made contact with customer support, they did take care of me.

I have bought multiple bikes on this site at a large discount vs local options and have been very happy. I bought a e-mountain bike and I did have an issue with the battery after a number of months. Larry in service helped me with it under warranty and sent me a new battery that solved the issue. Thanks!

Larry at Bike Direct was amazing. He help me pick out the perfect bike. The bike arrive timely and I took it to the bike shop for assemble.

Bike was for my son to replace one we had bought from Walmart. The twist shifter broke after 2 weeks use and they wouldn’t fix it-only return our money. So, I started searching reviews and found Bikes Direct. Assembly was pretty straightforward and simple to do. My son loves it so if you don’t want to deal with the big box stores or Walmart, look at BikesDirect with confidence!

I purchased an E bike from bikesdirect.com about 4 years ago. I was skeptical to purchase the bike online but did anyway. Bike is great and I still use it a lot. But with any bike that gets a lot of use you have to maintain it. First the battery connector pins broke. Probably my fault as I am in a hurry when taking the battery in and out. Spoke to Larry at bikes direct and he got me the part. Then a few years after had a small accident and broke the controller and had to get a new one. Again Larry helped me with this. Sent a new one and part did not work so spoke with Larry over email and he was really good about getting back to me so I definitely recommend purchasing your bike there and if you have any issues don’t worry Larry will help you for sure. Thanks again Larry.

This is the fourth bicycle that I've purchased through BikesDirect. The process went smoothly once I chose the bicycle that I wanted. It was more difficult to assemble, since the others all used rim brakes, etc.
