The bike chart told me to get a 50 cm but I think it's too small

Bike arrived on perfect condition. Instructions were for a generic bike, not this ebike. Assembly was easy, but had difficulty with the speedometer connections

From when I clicked purchase 4 days later I received my beautiful new bike mostly put together. It was easy to finish the rest. An excellent price, fast shipping and top notch quality!

Good product, excellent service response

I ordered a hardtail MTB which arrived in a reasonable time. Assembly was easy (youtube has tons of videos if you get stuck). I had to do a bit of guesswork on the cable routing when installing the handlebar, it was pretty straightforward.

Unfortunately there was an issue with the rear derailleur. The guide wheel was pressing the chain into the sprockets and the B-tension screw had no effect; it turned freely without pressing against the internal spring tab through its full range of travel. Thing was just broke.

I sent a video to Larry at customer service, and he quickly replied and said he was shipping a new derailleur. It arrived in a few days, I installed it, and it worked perfectly.

While I wish the bike had worked out the gate, manufacturing defects do happen. I was glad to get the replacement part without hassle. Good, friendly customer service. Much appreciated!

The $300 hardtail rides like a $300 hardtail, not great, not terrible, as-expected. Good fun, good value. Don't expect it to ride like a $3000 full-suspension bike and you'll be happy.

This was my second bikesdirect bike. The first is a hybrid bike that I've ridden 2500 km on as a commuter. It needed new pedals (and I suspect the MTB will also need new pedals before long--these low-end bikes seem to come with the classic standard substandard pedals). And the handlebar adjustment bolt sheared after three years of use (replaced for $1.25 at the hardware store). Really not bad for a bike I paid $220 for. It was a good purchase that I have high hopes will still be running strong years from now. And I hope the same for the MTB.

Disappointed to contact the company where we bought the Coopop Rugged bike new and after three call I was asked to send in a video for Jack to review. Had no reply at all. Never blamed them for us not using it since bought in 2021 everything still in box.
It didn’t fit the camper we ran, again not their fault.
However asked for assistance as turns out battery is faulty so asked if they would supply us one at cost etc so we can use the product we bought.
They said they contacted Coopop and they said price on the website £899 - product never been used yet.
From our experience I would not recommend this bike or dealer.
Expected better from Biles direct - no goodwill at all.
Updated reply 5 /6/25 : I see they have replied over two weeks after we posted our original review and now trying to claim they didn’t sell this Coopop Rugged bike.
If they had reviewed this issue properly and spoken to their team and checked their emails they would see the invoicing details had been shared as it was invoiced to our company name from new, this was also confirmed by their team on the third call.
This once again highlighting the poor quality of this company’s customer service.
I have now had to send the unused battery off to a third party company to have it repaired.
I have been quoted £150 to repair the battery rather than the retail battery “offer” suggested by this company of £899(full retail price). They told me it was quite common for the battery to fail if not used - please be aware.
I have only replied due to the dishonest attempt to deflect this review as if they didn’t supply the goods.
Believe me I have better things to do than write a poor review but made an exception on this due to total lack of support from this company.
Hope helps someone else to avoid the hassle etc.

The price was great! The components on that bike for that price is unheard of. The frame was a duel suspension and was light. It rides nice and shifting is a breeze. Brakes are fantastic. Easy to put together. Shipped out and received in days. Not weeks! My former bike was twice as expensive and I bought it in the late 80's. I made a mistake on my order form and they corrected it in 1 day. At this price, buy them for your kids and siblings. Can't beat this company.

I purchased an inexpensive bike. It was delivered quickly with minor damage to the box. The bike was mostly unharmed. It has a few small scratches on the frame and on the rims from where the tires where mounted. The gear changing is not smooth and will need adjusting. I've had to make some custom purchases to make the bike more comfortable. But all in all, I got what I paid for. I would like to think that the company would take better overall care of more expensive bikes that they offer. I fi had paid twice as much as I did, and had to deal with these issues, I would be returning the bike and leaving a completely different review.

I recently bought a gravel bike I had great experience with shipping customer service and everything but I mistakenly bought the wrong size I send a email to bikes direct and they were very helpful with me especially a associate name Megan I don’t know who she is but she is been very helpful god bless her and yeah I recommend bikes direct 10/10!!

I have never in my life heard of a ‘company’ to not have a contact number, i haven’t even had my bike a year and it’s already given up on me, i ask for a contact number numerous of times and was refused one, all complaints by email? that’s so inconvenient for people that ain’t phone savvy, will never ever be buying a bike of a company like this again, obviously just for the money and not fixing a problem that shouldn’t be happening on a bike i haven’t had a year, i will be going further with this, and courts will be called, absolutely joke, £3000 bike and only 9 month old, PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!

First, the Motobecane and SRAM are excellent. My bike was one of the first and there may have been assembly issues. 1. The dropper post worked but I learned the routing created a 'kink' and it stopped working. 2) My Bafang display went dark. I had to repurchase the display $100.00, the Bafang seller said it was from "hard pressing" the buttons which I did not do (I'm the sole operator) 3) The on frame charger-input stopped working 4) Battery removal and replacement was always difficult from my original purchase. Now there is a problem with the battery contacts and all electric components are dead. This bike has less than 50 hours, the Bafang components no longer function. BikesDirect has many good bikes at fair prices. Bikesdirect is an online seller. Their customer service is knowledgeable and responds quickly but they cannot make any repairs. Suggest you avoid Bafang at all costs, buy something else.

I’ve purchased multiple bikes from them but my recent purchase of an eBike was the best one b/c it’s the most fun! Shipping was fairly quick and the assembly is not that bad as long as you watch the videos they send you. I recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy a bike.

Got a really great deal on my titanium 29er mountain bike from Bikesdirect. I’ve been riding mountain bikes for years and my riding group turned me on to this site. I shopped around and anywhere else would have cost almost $1,000 more

Bikes Direct is an amazing company. It’s hard to believe that they have such high-quality bicycles at such low prices! I was able to get my son a mountain bike he loves, and my daughter a great beach cruiser for under $650 total. Highly recommend this company.
