Like all lawyers if you have money they will give excellent advice. Sadly legal aid for poor people has been cut. I am certain they are great solicitors. Litigation is a gamble. Citizens Advice may offer some help. Or try writing to your Member of Parliament. They may be able to help. Justice is expensive. I do understand their position.

I bought a flat through the auction, completed the sale in 28 days, but waited over two years to get the deed. My case had been passed to several solicitors, but none of them followed up, eventually Morgan took over and sorted it out within two months and no hassles at all! If you look someone who is professional, efficient and friendly, please go and ask for Morgan, highly recommended!

Claire Stanton is the best and most accessible Conveyancer we have ever worked with. She is always on hand to respond to queries and went over and above what we could have expected. We had a very tricky and stressful completion day during which Claire was a calming presence and she got the sale over the line. Would highly recommend Claire and the team. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I’ve used Bindmans twice and won’t use any other company. They ARE speedy and efficient. Got my auction purchase dealt with BEFORE the 28 day timeline. I think they had a few tricky staff before who left without finishing things hence negative reviews. However, Louise and Andrew are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and I will always use this company as they are very affordable and efficient compared to all other solicitors I’ve used.

Avoid. Charged fees not agreed to and now having to pursuing legal action against them through Legal Ombudsman.

Very professional and friendly service, They did both our sale of house and purchase of new property in a very timely manor, always updated with progress and made the moving experience a little less stressful!

We have just completed a long irritating and annoying conveyance through Bindman. Despite set backs, last minute contract changes and the constant lack of communication from our buyer, Morgan was superb. She guided us every step of the way and was always kind, caring and supportive. She was a pleasure to speak to and made a difficult situation so very much easier. Thank you Morgan.

Terrible solicitors. Literally zero communication with their clients with important matters. They lost our signed witness mortgage deed and claimed it was more or less my fault. Adding insult to injury, this important document that they lost, they didn't tell me for 2 years after moving house. Don't waste your time with these time wasters.

I used bindman & co for my auction sale of my property.

They kept me informed of the process and I was always able to contact them. I would recommend them to anyone.

I honestly don’t know where to start… We had multiple questions go unanswered, phones calls never returned, emails ignored, arrogant responses when we complained and after complaining there were still periods where no one would answer ours or the other sides solicitors questions.

Pattinsons recommended we use Bindman and because of this, I lost a little faith in Pattinsons too.

I’ve reviewed my emails with Pattinsons, Bindmans and the other sides estate agents today just to be sure what I am writing is factual and just reading them over and having no response, or 1 of 3 questions answered and having to wait weeks before my other 2 were addressed, just really angers me.

Based on our experience, we would never use nor would we ever recommend Bindmans solicitors.

If like us you were naive and trusted Pattinsons recommendation before discovering these reviews…. Good luck.

Truly awful experience, I am physically angry just typing out this review for this solicitors firm. They don't care, you barely ever get a reply and if by some miracle you do.

It is the receptionist telling you what you already know.

Still having issues with this company 14 months on. The solicitors here may have a degree to do their job but there customer service skills leave a lot to be desired!! 14 months after our sale and purchase and the management company for the flat we sold still think we own it. Was sent a blank form just to sign by email when we don’t know what they will even write on it and when we called and spoke to Morgan she huffed and puffed down the phone and they they shut soon and they are too busy. Why they are still taking on too much work us beyond me as it was the same situation when we used them for our sale and purchase. With the amount of bad reviews saying the same thing you would think the company would teach them some customer service skills! AVOID!!!!!!!

I used this conveyancer to purchase a property sold through Pattinsons and sell my previous home. The whole experience was horrendous from start to finish. Phone calls were not returned to myself or my buyers solicitors. Getting information from staff once calls were answered was like trying to get blood from a stone. Our sale and purchase almost fell through because they couldn’t even give my bank their own email address correctly after requesting our redemption figure. Staff are very rude considering customers are paying for a service. My complaint was never followed up or replied to, despite their obligations. After a considerably stressful six months which took a toll on our health, I believe that if it wasn’t for persistent liaison by ourselves to prevent the sale and purchase collapsing, Bindman would have left someone in our chain without a home. Avoid avoid avoid.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING
Please do not use this company unfortunately our seller was using them. We were cash buyers and there was no chain so we thought everything would be straight forward. After no communication for the first 4 weeks the estate agent and my solicitor tried to contact them. They don't answer the phone or respond to emails, this continued for about 3 months until we threatened to pull out. Claire Stanton you should be ashamed of the service you offer we missed the stamp duty deadline because of you, to completely ignore people is shocking I can only presume you think they will go away. If you have too much work then don't take on more customers than you can cope with. I would have given a minus rating but unfortunately I had to give 1 star

This company are diabolical, my mother had the misfortune of being “ allocated” this company by pattinsons estate agents.. big mistake! My mum was selling her home of 40 years after a bereavement and needing to downsize and start afresh , at what was possibly the hardest time of all our lives, bindmans added to the stress and distress felt by everyone involved, they were simply impossible to try to communicate with and on the odd occasion we did get an email, they were addressed to my father who had passed away , causing extreme upset to my mother.. they didn’t return calls or sometimes pleading emails asking for contact.. Claire was always either on holiday, working from home, in a meeting or simply “ not in the office” how any decent human being can sleep at night knowing what they are doing to people is beyond comprehension, the process dragged on so long with no contact that the chain almost collapsed and the stamp duty deadline was missed.. it’s only by sheer good fortune and patience shown by people further down the chain that this actually completed at all.. total disgrace to the law profession, anyone even considering these people , just DONT!! keith pattinson, you should be ashamed for continuing to use them.. read previous reviews, they speak volumes!!!

Oh and my previous review was flagged as containing “ illegal content” I would love to know what exactly is illegal about the truth !!!

Had occasion to help a Bindmans client at request of someone who knew the client was struggling. Was in the profession myself for 40+ years, so have seen most things, but can only think of one firm in all those years whose approach to client service was as abysmal as this. A Trappist monk would be more approachable and probably a great deal more helpful. I CANNOT recommend them and they only get 1* review because the site makes you give at least one! My advice? AVOID

I was recommended Bindmans last year when purchasing during lockdown. At a time when people were working from home and using C19 as an excuse for everything (when not having the virus), Claires continuous support and guidance throughout the whole process was flawless and made us feel at ease.
The turnaround was so quick which was exactly what we wanted as our seller had itchy feet.

I am shocked to read such bad reviews! I used Claire again when selling (so the other side of the coin) and again the process was so smooth this end yet a nightmare from my buyers side. Claire constantly kept us updated, so never had to chase to see where we were at, she definitely doesn't sit on her work like so many others do, unnecessarily dragging out the process.
Highly recommend and have referred friends/family to their services and would instuct again, should we sell or buy again.

I would strongly recommend nobody to ever use this solicitor firm.
In all honesty i have never had such an awful experience with a company in my entire life! I don’t think they understand the words ownership, professionalism or have any general interest in any of their customers affairs. They’ve made what should be reasonably smooth transitions become extremely stressful and unpleasant experiences!
