The reel is excellent

The reel is excellent. The problem is it was delivered to the wrong address. Have you considerd changing courier because DHL virtually lost my delivery.
I will be sceptical about ordering from Bird's again because of the courier.

Shocking Company

Purchased a carp net online from this company . After a few uses the carbon handle snapped. I contacted Birds tackle on two occasions regarding this obvious fault. No reply, ignorant customer service. I will now go through my bank and get a refund as this company can’t even be bothered to communicate. Avoid Birds tackle at all costs

This company only answers complaints with automated replies when u get a reply they don’t seem to read emails I have had two dealings with them will never agree to cancel an order always say sorry have dispatched even if u place order early hours of morning on week end contact same week end to cancel terrible

Great to buy from 👍

I brought some catch dry trousers.. they were the cheapest to get them from. Ordered Friday they came on Wednesday.. did expect them Tuesday. But only a day late. Emailed them and they replied almost immediately. That's why I can't understand these bad reviews.. I recommend them. Good to deal with .

So from my last review you was basically saying it was fake natalie furnell ring a bell dna baits crayfish , you know exacly who i am i wanted crayfish bait soak so you send me the bug spod syrup your actions are disgusting and so are your cocky replies and remarks all i can say is karma is waiting and for anyone who is reading this who thinks its a hit ott , your false advertising iff i buy a product and then get sent something completely different little do you realise in your low iq brain your committing fraud didnt get offerd a refund or even asked iff i would like to be sent a different product PROPPA MUGGISH I could easily go to my bank and claim a refund but thats not going to happen its to easy luckily i have contacts in the right places

The customer service was astonishingly…

The customer service was astonishingly bad, with deceptive practices aimed at taking advantage of people, not delivering the bait I purchased. Their actions were disorganized and unprofessional. However, justice prevailed, and I eventually received what was due to me. Although they seemed self-assured, their confidence was misplaced. I suggest they invest some time in learning proper customer service skills, which are clearly lacking. Regarding eBay and Trustpilot, I'm constrained by rules that prevent me from expressing myself fully, as I must avoid offending those who are easily upset.

Excellent advice

I’m a match man but was off to visit a large local carp lake for a few days.
Popped in for bait but ended up having a chat with the staff. OH hope helpful and knowledgeable they are of local waters.
45 minutes later and an arm full off advice I left the shop.
Followed there excellent advice and managed a 24.5lb carp from a water I had not fished before.
Top tip - choose a time when there not busy and then they’ll always have the time for you. !! 👍

Great tackle shop

Great tackle shop, well stocked, helpful staff and really convenient, 5 minutes off the A14. Really appreciate the support for local angling clubs from this shop too.

What a shop not only are all the staff brilliant the stock is top notch and if they don't have it in stock means the companies don't, and if there is something they don't have will go above and beyond to try to get for you.

Been using them for years and always willing to help and always competitive with there prices.

All in all just a fantastic tackle shop where you always feel welcome to go in and have a chat in my opinion how tackle shops should be.

I recently purchased fishing tackle…

I recently purchased fishing tackle totaling £270 from your store. A few days later, I learned that, as a GAPS member, I was entitled to a 10% discount — something I was unaware of at the time of purchase. I returned to the shop with my receipt, hoping to have the discount refunded or credited to my account.

While the staff were generally polite and helpful, the manager, Stacey, was extremely dismissive and unwilling to assist with my query. His attitude came across as unprofessional and unaccommodating, giving the impression that customer service is not a priority once a sale has been completed.

I left the store very disappointed and, based on this experience, would not consider returning in the future.

They say a date for delivery then a week later it’s still not arrived they give you some rubbish about its royal mails fault
I have bought if eBay for years and when it says a delivery date it’s never far out but they blame Royal Mail
Stay way clear unless you want to wait weeks

Customer service is appalling, and scammers ripping people off and lieing all for not sending the baits I ordered, scruffy behaviour, also got whats rightfully mine in the end😂😂😂 nice try though I know you thought you had won with how confident you came across, but not this time, again please go and educate yourself on customer service skills that you lack so bad 👋 as for braking rules on eBay and trust pilot it's only because it won't let me say what I truly want to say profanity and all that got to word it a little different as not to offend the snowflakes 😉
