Total scam. I waited over a month for my books and got a few stickers and didn’t even get a book. It was an envelope with who the hell knows. Extremely disappointing. I would not recommend buying from this company. I wish there was less than a 1 star review to give.

Absolute BS
The one time I didn't heavily research. It took 1.5 months, with 2 tracking numbers and a pamphlet-size 20-page story in the mail with stickers, a highlighter, and post-it tabs—all cheap AF. I was looking forward to actually buying myself a book for once. Damn. Just disgusted.

How angry it made me to receive a package with 3 paperthin books on Nicholas sparks and be charged $52.17 is beyond what i can say. I emailed them about it demanding a refund and will most likely not hear back from this bogus company. It came with stickers, a paper bookmark, highlighter, and fake flowers, none of which were presented the way it was in the picture. Even as my parents were in the room and helped me unwrap this nightmare, my dad was laughing hysterically the entire time how I was ripped off. Honestly, the fact scammers can get away with this amount of false advertising and stealing your money then sleep peacefully at night is disgusting.

No star is more like it. I have been duped!! 100% money back guarantee?! Offering only 4 USD in refund. And after a more heated complain they increased the refund to 6 USD. Please do not purchase from this website. Not as advertised. It is not even a book. It is just a pamphlet and a cheap printed copy. Cheap material. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM unless you want to be like me. Only disappointment after a month of waiting.

I did not receive a book, I got some junk in an envelope from Ohio a month later and the company said I'll have to pay for shipping to China to return the product.

I purchased from a social media advertisement, don't remember if it was Facebook or Instagram but same thing happened to me. I ordered two Blind Dates with a Book at the end of November. My package arrived on January 11th and included what I thought was a pamphlet. I guess it was maybe a chapter of a book...not in the genre I had chosen. The stickers were stupid, and the package wasn't put together at all like the advertisement. I've been fighting with the company for days to get a refund. They are not budging and told me to have a nice life. Pft. This was $45ish (supposed to be half off). Who wouldn't expect an entire book to be included, 2 in my case? Total rip-off. I'm going to try and dispute the charges with my bank, but I'm not sure that will go anywhere. I'm so pissed. I should have known something was up when I got shipping notifications from Romania and Portugal....for a book....this site needs to be shut down.

I wish I read these reviews before I fell for this scam. I wish I could score BIzartre zero stars.

The “customer service” representative was very good in responding continuously to my emails and offering up to $9 compensation “out of [their] own pocket” when all they had to do was to send the missing book. I spent $27. I even suggested going to their local Barnes and Noble - since the bookstore pic was taken from inside one of those stores - a select a copy from the bargain table. And I didn’t even realize this “company’s” version of a book was a pamphlet because I didn’t fully open the package shipped out of Dayton, Ohio but originated out of Hungary.

I know now even if I were to accept their idea of “compensation,” I’ll probably would never receive it. And I’m sure I’m past the 30 days return window.

I will be contacting the BBB and Instagram.

Too bad, because the concept is a really good one.

Don’t fall for it. They won’t refund or anything just keep sending the same email over and over again. It is not a book. It’s 100 % a scam. false advertisement on a Facebook reel they get you excited and totally lie. Don’t waste your money.

Item took 6 weeks to arrive. They sent a chapter of a book, a book mark, and one sheet of stickers. This is a SCAM!!

I would rate zero stars if I could. First order got lost and when I contacted them they immediately sent a new one out. I got it and instead of actual books it was booklets! AND all by the same author! Unfortunately I did another order thinking hey the customer service was so great and they are having a bigger sale this time I'll get more. They suck and even though they have given me some money back it doesn't make up for the false advertising!

I fell for this too on a Facebook reel. Like everyone else said, there's no book, just a pamphlet with a 20 page excerpt from a nicholas sparks book (it's probably not even from that book), a piece of string not even tying anything together (no joke), a paper bookmark, fake flowers, and a highlighter. Definitely not worth the money. I'll probably never get my money back either because they have a 30 day return policy and they conveniently shipped my package so it would arrive after the 30 days. Oh well, lesson learned.

REPORT REPORT REPORT! False advertising and counterfeit books. This is highly illegal! If you purchased try to cancel ASAP and dispute the charge. They will not honer any "No risk money back guarantee" claims. They will try to gaslight you into thinking that you got what you ordered. This is more then a scam it's fraud. The FTC and BBB needs to get involved and shut this down and other sites like it.

It's seriously a joke. My books were pamphlets instead. I ordered 2 sets of "BOOKS" one Horror and the other Thriller. Instead I received romance way over a month later, what looks like dollar tree scrapbook items wrapped in paper with a small sheet of children's stickers. Oh and they threw in some thread 🤷‍♀️ not sure why. Maybe I'm supposed to make a Bookmark. Do not waste your money.

I ordered 2 blind date with a book on 11/29/24 and finally recieved my "order" today 01/14/25. This was not at all what was pictured on the site or that I thought I ordered. Included were 2 Nicolas Sparks stapled together pamphlets when I was expecting spicy and dark romance. While wrapped cute I found the exact same items down to the stickers on Temu for 1/4 the cost. It was hard to communicate with customer service. Absolute waste of $45 and a month and a half!

I ordered the blind date with a book. It took me 2 months to get and then I didn’t even get a book, I got a Prologue. Total scam. Save your money. It is not what you see on Tik Tok. This company should be ashamed of themselves!

AWFUL company. It took over a month for mydaughter to receive the package. And when she opened it it was a nicholas sparks pamphlet With
A green pin and some stickers. Not what I ordered. This company stole my money and didn't send what I ordered. And this was supposed to be a Christmas gift.

I ordered 3 blind date and definitely didn't get what was advertised. I immediately filed a dispute with PayPal. Like what I was sent was not even worth maybe $25 and I paid $65. Also in same boat of ordered it 12/4/2024 and received it 1/14/2025. So I literally month and half for something I could have gotten on temu for extremely less than what I paid. I sent an email complaining to the company and then filed the dispute I have photo evidence. Extremely upset.

I wish I had checked here before I spent $45.95 on dollar store crap that one, I never would have bought and two would not have costed more than $1.25.
Complete fraud and no books maybe there is a pamphlet but I did not bother to open the package. Also it took almost 7 weeks to receive these, which were supposed to be Christmas gifts. What a waste of money and time.

If i could give them a 0 for a rating, even that would be generous but I guess a 1 will have to suffice.
TERRIBLE SCAM COMPANY. Just like every other review says, you wait months to recieve garbage for the price you would pay to go to B&N to just purchase a book. You get a fake pamphlet thats not even the equivalent to a book demo (that you would traditionally get for free on amazon or at a book store to try before you buy) and brown paper bag packaging that is not decorated as described either. So you aren't paying for a product nor labor at this point honestly. Their customer support acts astonished by customer complaint claims and asks for photo proof of the ABSOLUTE GARBAGE they send you. It took 2 months to recive this junk and their site is unsecure (scary if you use your bank/credit card instead of a gift card). What does it take to get a so called "company" like this banned and shut down.

This should be a zero. Ordered two books back in November. They just came yesterday. They show up and they are the cliff note version of a book, nothing but a leaflet. Some cheap stickers are dried up pen and a piece of string oh and some little flower petals. I’ve been complaining trying to get my money back. They wanted me to send pictures which I could not get to go through. They offered me the courtesy of five dollars back. I am insisting I want a full refund and I will do a dispute with my credit card company.
