My family (twins aged 16) and I travelled to Kenya with Blixen travel. I work in Travel and colleagues said why did you not organise this yourself. The main reason is because I wanted to speak to a specialist who knows Kenya thoroughly ( it helps that Cath was raised in Kenya). Cath asked many questions to find out what we wanted out of the holiday and arranged a bespoke itinerary which suited us perfectly. Cath was on call 24/7 with any questions I had. The process from start to finish was seamless. The moment we arrived in Nairobi our guide was waiting for us and the amazing adventure began. As a family we all gave the safari experience 5 stars and declared it the best holiday ever!. We can't thank Cath and Jimmy enough.

I'd booked flights to China and a tour with Intrepid Travel, and looked at Shanghai hotels 2 days prior to joining the tour and 2 days after, and that's as far as I'd got.
My partner suggested I meet with Cath and Jimmy to see if they could help with any additional arrangements. And WOW did they help me.
I explained how far I'd got and and what I was looking to do next and what I wanted. They said they work with Intrepid and to leave it with them.
Within 4 hours they came back to me with a price to the penny that I'd already committed to with Intrepid, but Blixen's price also included the 4 hotel stays in Shanghai either side of the tour, the 2 nights prior to the tour being in the same hotel as the tour began in. All I needed to do was cancel with Intrepid and Blixen had already arranged for the deposit to be transferred to their booking. Stunned doesn't come close, and saving me in the region of £500 to boot!
In the time between making the booking with Blixen and departing for China they also advised me about obtaining a Visa, guidance with luggage and keeping in touch with home during my holiday.
On my return Cath and Jimmy insisted that we meet again so they could see all of my 600+ photographs and tell them about my China highlights experience.
I'm about to look again highlights tours of Italy and also an Eastern USA tour ending at Niagara, and Blixen will be my first and probably only point of call.
