The entire course was extremely helpful. It gave me the knowledge and confidence I needed to pass my interview on the first attempt.

The materials and interview practice were exceptional and offered a level of preparation that would be impossible to find elsewhere.

Everyone I interacted with was professional, polite, and supportive from start to finish. I'm very grateful for the guidance provided to me, and I would highly recommend the course to anyone else preparing to join the police.

The course content is laid out clearly and concisely on the website for learning prior to the scheduled 1-1s. Andrea (my course co-ordinator) was in regular contact and answered all my queries promptly as they arose. Brendan offered regular opportunities for group contact and to answer questions outside the normal remit of my frequent 1-1s and role plays. At all times everybody involved was encouraging and understood the importance of building confidence. I would say that for anyone considering a career in policing they are doing themselves a major disservice if not considering Bluelight.

Andrea, my absolute hero. I joined Blue light having a complete confidence crisis, Andrea guided me through everything I needed to know and set me up for my first promotion board which I passed first time.
I’m in no doubt that blue light is a big financial investment however the support throughout and going forward is worth every penny.
Highly recommend

I attended my bolt-on assessment for the Detective Pathway with the Met Police, and the following day I received the news that I passed.
I couldn't have done it without Blue Light Academy and therefore I can't recommend them enough.
From my very first day, the guidance, support and expertise the academy provides have been outstanding. I want to say a special thank you to my coach Darren who went above and beyond throughout my journey and invested genuine time into my success. He was always there when I needed guidance or reassurance.
Thank you also to Brendan for creating such a proven pathway to success. To Raj and Andrea for the invaluable detective webinars and to Debbie for making me believe I can from our first intro call.
Achieving this result means so much to me.
Thank you all, it was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with everyone.
If you're reading this and are on the fence about joining, I promise you it's worth the investment.

Great service. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Very informative. Excellent support.

Fantastic experience with Blue Light Consultancy. The support, guidance and preparation materials were excellent. Brendan, Raj and the team were knowledgeable, encouraging and genuinely invested in helping candidates succeed. I would highly recommend Blue Light Consultancy to anyone preparing for promotion at any stage.

Darren was my personal coach, he was just amazing.

He helped me grow confidence was patient and very understanding.

He was always very responsive when I needed support, any question I had he would answer and give me reassurance.

I can not thank Darren and the Bluelight team enough for their guidance and support!

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for guidance through their police recruitment process.

I joined Blue Light Consultancy shortly after passing my OAC and had only four weeks to prepare for my final interview. Darren was an excellent coach supportive, knowledgeable, and always available to help.

Thanks to his guidance, I passed first time and secured the career I’ve always wanted. The service was worth every penny.

A huge thank you to Darren and everyone at Blue Light Consultancy. I would highly recommend them to anyone preparing for the recruitment process.

Absolutely Great! Raj was my coach for two weeks. He made time to fit me in for lessons, the group zoom calls were very helpful as well. Despite me joining within two weeks I gained great knowledge to being able to pass my interview!

I have followed their guides online during my applications, helped me a lot and eventually needed one of their many services, John was very helpful, honest and professional, got more than expected, thank you again John smith.

Bluelight played a huge role in helping me understand both the recruitment process and the mindset required to become a police officer. I would highly recommend their coaching programme to anyone considering a policing career.

The coaching materials and live + recorded webinars provide unlimited access to rich, practical guidance, and the coaches themselves are outstanding. Many have had remarkable policing careers and risen through the ranks, but what stood out most was how patient, supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring they were throughout the process.

Police recruitment can feel challenging and overwhelming at times, but Bluelight made it far more manageable and gave me the confidence, structure, and preparation needed to perform at my best and feel ready for the next stage of my career.

Working with Bluelight was the best decision I could’ve made to get me through my OAC. My coach Jane was amazing and prepared me within an inch of my life, so I had total confidence sitting the assessments. The webinars and additional resources are also invaluable. Highly recommend.

Bluelight was absolutely excellent when it came to supporting my way through the OAC be it through the webinars or the 1-1 calls. I would honestly reccommend them to anyone considering joining the force.

Thank you.

Great company to work with.

All the coaches have been excellent in terms of subject knowledge, continued support and kindness.

Has been an amazing journey!!!

I only just scraped through my Online Assessment Centre and wanted some extra help preparing for my South Wales Police final in-force interview, so I joined Bluelight Consultancy less than 4 weeks ago.

The materials from the online academy were a great starting point and really helped me to understand the interview process and what was expected. They really helped me understand how to structure my preparation and build my confidence.

The 3 coaching sessions with my coach, Sarah Morton, were so helpful. Sarah was supportive, knowledgeable, and really helped me through the process, building my confidence. She helped me pick out experiences from my own life that I could use in my interview answers, and then build them into strong examples that matched the competencies being assessed. This gave me so much more preparation and confidence going into the interview.

The weekly Monday webinars also helped a lot. I think the feedback from the different coaches and learning from the other participants really helped me build my confidence and prepare. Everyone involved was supportive and wanted to see each other succeed.

I would recommend this service to anyone going through the police recruitment process.

I applied to the Metropolitan Police and passed the behaviour test on my own.

I was intending to do everything correctly to get that work. I looked online for a company that could help me. Come out BLUELIGHT CONSULTANCY

I read the comment before and applied online.

Since the first phone call with Debbie Jacyna, I was amazed. Everything was clear and understandable in what I needed to do and how they could help me.

Obviously, the price came and was even affordable.

I did my first OAC with Sarah Tucker. I passed and she was lovely. Clear and honest someone that you can rely on.

I prepared and conducted the final interview with Darren Rawlings. Stunning and amazing coach professionally and personally. He was like a parrot on my shoulder, guiding and supporting me in everything. I did not get the detective but I got an offer for pc and I accepted because I want to be the first police officer and second I can try again from inside later on.

I met online all the coaches all amazing and prepared.

I am grateful to all and without them, everything would not be possible so I am very happy to choose them, but the best thanks go to Brendan, who every Wednesday enlightens everyone with knowledge and personal stories to provide an input to everyone do not give up and practice. He does not believe in luck just in working hard and getting it.

I took up with light around 3 months ago in preparation for my sgts board and I must say its the best thing I've ever done. Well worth the investment of both money and time.

It gave me incredible confidence going into the board. After putting the time and effort into it I don't think there was a question they could've asked me that I did not feel confident answering.

My coach was Raj, he was outstanding, equipped me with all the tools I needed to be successful. The webinars were really good, involved everyone and were relevant to the current question sets boards are asking.

I would not hesitate in recommending this service to anyone. Without a doubt got me through the process.

Thank you to all at blue light, you are brilliant at what you do.

Sam

I passed my PCEP process and I have no one but the members of BlueLight Consultancy to thank. Massively grateful - especially to Jane who helped me pass my SIFT after failing terribly the first time on my own. I also want to give my regards to Darren who brilliantly helped me pass my OAC and got me ready for the final interview.
The other coaches have also been brilliant too as every weekly webinar was worth committing to. I especially like how each coach has different coaching methods but I was still able to take something from each and every one of them. The webinars, hosted by 1 of the BlueLight coaches every week, were respectful but honest, and inclusive, which I personally believe helped build confidence.
Thank you, again!
I joined BlueLight Consultancy on 05/05/2025.
I passed the recruitment process for my applied force on 29/04/2026.
I'll be coming back for when I'm ready for promotions and other opportunities within my policing career.

I can’t recommend Bluelight Consultancy enough. The support, insight, and development they’ve given me throughout the police recruitment process has been genuinely invaluable.

From the beginning, they made everything feel a lot clearer and less overwhelming. The 1-to-1 sessions were especially helpful — really focused and tailored to me, helping me improve my answers and build confidence. The group webinars were just as useful, full of practical tips and real examples that I could actually use.
I’ve recently passed my final police interview, and I honestly don’t think I’d have got there without their support.
If you’re going through the process, I’d definitely recommend them.

Would highly recommend joining Bluelight, they helped me through the toughest part of the process and provided me with the tools to achieve the best results. My coach Darren was very supportive and aided me along the way. He was attentive and available to me when needed and he prepared me in a way that was needed to succeed.
