If your looking for a very dissapointing unsafe bike for a young child that bobbin bikes is for you. purchased a bike for my nephew for his 3rd birthday bike came with a whole list of faults dented wheel arch broken rear light faulty seat that wobbles all over faulty stabalisers flat tyres rusty bell that falls off easily when ringing exsposing small chocking hazards for children
Customer service is shocking telephone number doesnt work and the email you are left with one generic email asking for proof then nothing for over a week ive emailed 4 times with no response most definitely a scam company who doesn't value quality safe products

*** Update 17th December: 5 weeks since I first attempted to contact Bobbin customer services regarding POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUES with Bobbin bike. Rather than reply to my e-mails or call me, somebody at Bobbin has copied and pasted their default Trustpilot response to give the impression that the customer service team exists/ responds to SAFETY issues. Bobbin, if you are genuine about rectifying the SAFETY issue, respond to the 4 e-mails I have sent to you and to the prompts from your parent company Kybotech, whose customer service team are contactable and have sent chasing internal messages to you.
***BEWARE: before making a purchase from Bobbin, ensure that the instructions for the model you are interested in are shown on the website. Bobbin’s website features more instructions on attaching a bike basket than rectifying potential SAFETY ISSUES with brakes and gears. It is also worth trying the phone number shown on the website. It gives the impression of a functioning company, but I have been calling it daily for over 5 weeks and nobody answers it.
I purchased a Bobbin Arcade in late October as a birthday present for my 5 year old. I didn't unbox until closer to his birthday in early November. On unpacking, I discovered that the assembly instructions were for the standard Bobbin Dutch-style bike. I checked the website, and Bobbin only feature instructions for a Dutch-style bike, therefore I had no guidance for FAULTY disc brakes, and no guidance if the gear cables are FAULTY.
I assembled the bike for my son's birthday, and after 5 minutes of riding, the gear cable had loosened completely so that the gears were locked in the highest gear. Also, the disc brakes were making a constant, high-pitched squeak. Neither are ideal in trying to help a child get used to using a geared bike with disc brakes.
With no instructions from Bobbin to address either issue, I turned to YouTube. However, my attempts to rectify were unsuccessful as the issues remained after testing again.
I called the number on Bobbin's website (020 3058 7156) several times during the working week. I have only encountered the same recorded message, "I'm sorry, our offices are now closed. Please see our website for our opening times". The opening times are not listed on the Bobbin website.
On 16th November I e-mailed Bobbin about the POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUE regarding the gears and disc brakes on a child's bike. I received no response.
Again, I called the number on Bobbin's website (020 3058 7156) several times during the working week, with no answer.
On 3rd December I responded to a feedback request received with my order. I repeated the issues faced with the bike, the fact that customer services doesn't seem to exist.
On 4th December, Bobbin contacted me to ask for photos/ videos.
On 5th December, I send photos and a video.
It is now 15th December, and I have had no response. The phone is still not answered.
In the meantime, I have discovered that the parent company is Kybotech. I have called them several times, and their helpful customer service team can see my order, and my e-mails, but cannot help with the defective product. They send internal messages to the Bobbin team, which may or may not exist.
First world problems and all that, but I assume that Bobbin will leave me out of pocket, and my son without a bike for Christmas as well as his birthday.

ordered 2 bikes in the middle of November, start of black friday sales and super early for christmas trying to be prepared, one bike came within days and then i get an email saying the second is delayed but will come before Christmas..no problem, i’ll wait.
two weeks pass and i email and just check all still on track, still before christmas? yes, they reassure me. no problem.
then i get a phone call 8th of december to say they can’t fulfil my order but i can pick another colour. ANNOYING! i picked matching bikes now only one gets the colour they had asked for… so i pick another bike i was told it would be dispatched same day if i picked one in stock ( it’s £19 more expensive) they reply next day and said they wont let me have that bike unless i pay more, really? i dont see why i should have to after all the messing about but i ask for a good will gesture seems i’ve waited weeks and weeks and they can’t give me what ordered anyway that was the last i heard and it’s been days, the bike i picked is now out of stock and another one the christmas cut offs are this week and i still don’t know if my getting a bike or a refund!!!!

Everything went smoothly, from order to delivery, and I'm thrilled with my bike. Very comfortable to ride and looks beautiful - I've already been complimented on it!

Be very careful about using this company as it appears they are not anything like older reviews would suggest. Ordered the gingersnap balance bike for my daughter. Arrived damaged which can happen so I contacted them via there website and was told they don’t have replacement part so will need to replace whole bike. I have to arrange collection with them before they send replacement. However they reason to emails every 4 days, you can’t get through to their office as the contact number constantly says office is closed. Just hey automated messages when attempting to contact them on social media platforms. I have asked repeatedly to call me and provided mobile number but nobody calls. This has been going on for two weeks now and still no collection arranged or new bike sent. I will be contacting my credit card company as they are clearly messing about. Do not use them as the customer service is shocking.

The item (wicker bike basket) is really nice now I've cleaned it up! I don't think I've ever bought anything that was so dirty on delivery. It was covered in a fine dust (like a year's worth of road haze) as though it had been left on a shelf but not dusted for ages. Cleaned up OK with weak soap and water and, as said, a really nice basket. Can recommend the basket not the dirt!

Packaging was slightly damaged so that could do with being stronger, apart from that everything seems to be there. It hasn't been put together yet as it is a Christmas present , so hopefully we won't have any problems.
