Rubber, not baked clay
While the likeliness of the "model" and the overall design turned out great, it's not clay, it's rubber and the head doesn't "bobble" because of the hair placement. I've ordered several bobbleheads from other companies and they've all been baked clay. Perhaps this is the new norm?

My experience is that the re-creations of the heads based off the photos is extremely good. I had been disappointed in another company's bobbleheads, but very pleased with this company's work, attention to detail, and speed of the process. I have already placed three orders so far and looking to do a fourth.

The product was delightful; and perhaps more importantly the customer service was very prompt, professional and helpful. The details of how to construct, modify, and orders were clearly laid out. I am not sure how one would do this, but the additionals that cost extras should be alluded to in the pricing advertised? Regardless, this is my second bobblehead order coming up and my lawyer son loved his!! (What does one get for a 46-year old son who is a lawyer & has everything? A Bobblehead, of course!) I am now ordering one for my daughter-in-law who practices medicine.

I had a custom bobblehead made from my photo and it came out better than expected. The likeness is on point, especially the facial details and expression. It actually looks like me, not a generic figure.
