Packed and unpacked faultlessly, the team we had took all the stress away and were super helpful - really helped with the day and we were relieved to be in safe hands - also had a laugh with them as well which was great

We booked Britannia Lanes after change of moving date and late exchange of contracts meant we lost our planned removal company. They came out quickly to estimate removal time & cost. Quickly delivered packing boxes etc and were very helpful. The removal men who came for the actual move were very careful, friendly and super strong. Unfortunately as we didn’t get the keys to our new home until 4.15pm, they unloaded essentials like bed and sofa and brought the rest back the next day. That waiting waiver payment was well worth the money! Thoroughly recommend them as a removal company. The only negative was that I booked the removals, the form was in my name signed only by me, all the emails were sent by me, yet nearly all the responses were sent back to my husband Mr T, even when I added my full Mrs + name at the bottom of the emails. It was such a sloppy, old fashioned default communication.

Britannia Lanes team were brilliant, they were efficient, helpful and very supportive with my mum. They went above and beyond to help my mum out at a stressful time. I would recommend this company if you want a stress free move.

Used Britannia Lanes Exeter for our move from Torquay. The team were excellent. Worked liked trojans for both days and were a pleasure to deal with. All of the guys worked really hard but a very special mention to Leyton who was brilliant over both days. Thank you.

Avoid Britannia Lanes Movers.

This move was a Train Wreck from the start. The "Highly Trained, Professional" crew, acted more like a group of lads from down the local pub.
Many of our belongings were broken, lost, or just not moved from the old house to the new house, many boxes of our belonging were left outside in the elements and thus the contents had ruined due to the weather.

We would highly recommend these movers to be avoided, Think twice about hiring them, as we should have.

In a word: HORRENDOUS.

Very friendly and helpful staff in the office and the removal guys were great too. I would happily recommend Britannia Lanes to anyone looking for a local or national move.

Britannia Lanes has moved disparate parts of my family 6 times in the last 2 years. They are my first choice for brilliant and timely service, with caring, courteous and professional removal men and women. I would highly recommend them. They also went above the call of duty in sending out a van to pick extra stuff up at short notice.

Very happy with Britannia Lanes. The good experience starts when you phone the company: the women who answer the phone are so cheerful and lovely it makes a huge difference (especially compared to the grumpy people who answer phones for other removers). The three men who handled my move, literally, were super helpful despite what must be a backbreaking job. Together they took the stress out of the move at what was a very difficult time. I would certainly recommend this company

We had a few false starts with completion on our property but Lanes worked hard to adjust to be able to support us.
On the day the team worked extremely hard and were a real credit to the company. They endeavoured to place items to assist making things easier for us after they had left.
Their enthusiasm never waned throughout the whole day. Excellent service, I couldn't have imagined how it would have been without them. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the whole team!

Very professional service from our initial enquiry right through until furniture was delivered. The removal guys were super helpful, quick and efficient. The ladies in the office always polite and able to respond and /or offer assistance. Best removal service we have ever received. 🙏
We did have a slight issue with our delivery address access despite our best efforts to forewarn. But this was quickly solved by Joel and although we had to pay extra for a shuttle service he worked quickly and helpfully to get our furniture to us at the agreed time.
Would definitely highly recommend and would use again. Thank you.

Thanks to all of you who were involved in assessing, quoting, amending the quote, booking a date, changing it, booking a new date, changing it, and booking the final date. And a special huge thanks to the guys carrying the heavy stuff and the 300 boxes - you were great and good fun to be around!

We were so impressed with the service provided by Layton, Tony and Josh. They could not have been more helpful and professional. Our heartiest thanks all round. Thank you also to Cheri and Lynne in the HQ for making the initial arrangements. It all went swimmingly well!

Brittania Lanes of Exeter were incredibley helpful from the start. Ours was a big move from Surrey to Bude in Cornwall which in total was a 5 day move. The quote was the most reasonable that we got (compared to Surrey companies) and they were also able to fit us in a very short notice.

We had Adrian and Tony drive down from Exeter on the Monday and start the fragile pack service (we opted to pack the rest) and loading. They were enthusiastic, polite and very hard working. I would 100% recommend them.
