Michael was extremely helpful and patient throughout the whole process. As someone who had no prior knowledge of sapphires or other precious stones, Michael took the time to explain to me what to look out for in terms of carat weight, dimensions, clarity etc which allowed me to make an informed decision on the right stone. We looked at multiple stones before deciding on the right one and I never felt pressured by Michael to make a fast decision. We then designed the ring to my specifications and Michael provided good insight on what would work well for my idea. Overall the ring came out just as I had pictured. Michael was incredibly helpful and responsive the whole way through the process. His knowledge in both band design and stones was immense and he shined a light on a lot if smaller details you otherwise wouldn't think of. I had a great experience getting an engagement ring made up with Michael. I was quite particular in terms of the design but he was very accommodating in working through a couple of revisions.

He was very transparent in terms of pricing for different options for metals and stones, and was willing to give recommendations to suit my budget.

The ring ended up being slightly too large and Michael was very prompt in getting it resized. We will be getting our wedding rings made by Michael as we were really happy with the quality and overall outcome so I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for something well made and special!

Michael was recommended by a friend and I am so glad they did. Initially Michael came out to Cleveland to discuss the options for an engagement ring with my fiance and I. He is very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does. Following this initial meeting just Michael and I communicated to keep some element of 'surprise'. We chose a lab diamond ring with a real diamond band. My fiance is thrilled. We will definitely go back to Michael for the wedding rings. He is very friendly and approachable and I can't recommend him highly enough. Whatever you do, don't go to the high street jewellers - meet with Michael instead.

My wife wanted a new engagement ring which needed to incorporate the original Sapphire stone and a family diamond. It also required sourcing a matching diamond. Michael patiently went through designs with us, sourced the matching diamond, continually kept us up to date - and delivered an absolutely exquisite ring. To say my wife was happy would be a massive understatement. The quality of workmanship is simply amazing and Michael’s eye for design is a gift.

Burgundy Bespoke Jewellers made a beautiful pink sapphire, rose gold engagement ring for me, which was absolutely stunning. My fiancé was thrilled.

From start to finish it was a pleasure working with Michael. He arrived on the first day with a handful of exquisite stones that matched the brief description I had given him over the phone and we had two meeting to finalise the design for the ring and select the right stone. We prepared the design based on a ring that my fiancé and I had seen in a jewellery shop, but the final product that Michael produced was superior in every way.

Michael was patient and helpful through the whole process (even when I was fussing over small details). He could show me mock-up designs on his working software while we sat and talked, and then he went away with my thoughts / instructions to prepare a more detailed CAD model for me to review and approve. He came to us after the proposal to re-size the ring for no cost, which was an added bonus that made the whole process easier and reduced the stress of trying to guess the right size.

As a couple that was totally unsure about ring design, diamond quality and price, we couldn’t be happier with the process and quality of the finished product.

I've known Michael for a while but only just managed to have a project for him, my grandmothers opal ring, which needed resetting.

The ring holds a special memory for me as my grandmother and i almost share a birthday in October (5th/6th) and she bequeathed the ring to me when she died.

The stone is lovely but the setting was old fashioned, claw style and the gold was also wearing thin. Every time I wore it, I worried the stone would fall out.

But I had no idea what I really wanted to do, so it sat in my jewellery box, getting sadder and loosing it's lustra (opals like to be worn).

Then I sat down with Michael and we brainstormed a little. He had a couple of amazing ideas and when I saw his design for the ring, I was so impressed!

We played around with the addition of other stones and I ended up going with just the Opal in a unique setting that flowed so well.

I couldn't wait to see the ring and it turned out even better than I expected! Now Im wearing it with pride, and it looks amazing, with the stone polished and set so beautifully.

I love Michael's work. It's unique, he genuinely cares, pays attention to every detail and his charges are real value for money. he presents your items so beautifully too.

We needed to have an Engagement Ring made to replace a family heirloom that was stolen.
Michael was very friendly and understanding about what we were trying to do. He listened to us and came back with suggestions as to what would be the best way to achieve what we wanted.
The whole design and manufacturing process took a bit longer than we expected, however Michael kept us well informed throughout the process and it was worth the wait. The ring he produced was exactly what we wanted

What an incredible experience. When we initially had a family heirloom ring gifted to us to reset and use for our own engagement ring, I'll admit the process seemed daunting. However, I'm so glad that we found Michael and had him as a trusted and knowledgable guide on our journey. He patiently took the time to sit with us and take our story and ideas, shaping them into a design with so much meaning and beauty. His communication was always prompt and clear without ever making us feel pressured. In particular, we so very much appreciated the way Michael reassured us that there was no rush and that he would take as much time and as many revisions on the design as needed until we were happy. In the final design Michael was able to create a wonderfully unique design which incorporated many features we loved and felt so very right for us.

Words cannot describe how much we love our ring. We continue to marvel at how Michael managed to take a stone that we genuinely felt was too big for my small hand (a peculiar problem we know!) and incorporate it into a design which is so balanced and perfectly set. Others frequently complement how the beautiful details in the design, which include petals to frame the stone and a spilt band, make them really want to take a second look at the beauty of this ring.

We cannot imagine having had a smoother and kinder experience and very much look forward to working with Burgundy Bespoke again to create our wedding bands.

My experience with Michael and the whole design process, I thought was out standing. I had a design and image of the finished product ready to go which helped me massively to begin with, he took that information and brought it to life right in front of my eyes, it was truely remarkable.

I had a budget in mind and the finished product met bang on what I was willing to spend.

The making of the ring did not take very long at all, I was very surprised at the short turn around, from deposit to finished product.
