I purchased a subscription of Good Food…
I purchased a subscription of Good Food magazine which was on offer. I then received a email a few hours later to be told I couldn’t benefit from the offer because I’d used it before? The money had already been taken from my account. I emailed back saying this was a gift and a little silly but when will I receive my refund. After many emails and me providing endless evidence of the money being taken from my bank they allegedly can’t find the transaction. I have now raised the issue with my bank. It wasn’t a lot of money but if this is done time and time again it’s a very good con.

No magazine, no refund, no communication
Ordered a magazine. A week later told they couldn’t supply the premium version I’d ordered, but here’s a discount for the standard version, so ordered standard version. Magazine never arrived and neither did the refund. Had to spend over 30 minutes on the phone to get a refund. No email communication regarding the non-supply of magazine. Will not use again.

Just bought a subscription and 4 days later it still does not work. Customer service has not replied. Going to cancel my subscription and apply for refund if not sorted soon. U acceptable waiting times.

Did not receive magazine
What a great idea I thought to order Radio Times for my mother who is housebound.
No magazine received despite two emails sent.
When I went in website and typed in details it said no subscription found so cancelled direct debit before it was due to go out .
Would not recommend.

Awful customer services
Apart from a couple of late /failed deliveries the subscription has bene fine for around 3 years now. However every time I try to renew (every 6 months) the customer service is terrible. Renewing online should be easy but while it recognises the numbers and offers it doesn't give any way to pay. Usually end up doing it by post as the Indian based customers services are as much use a chocolate teapot. Was a bit late this time though so phoned them and they could only give me an offer around 50% higher than I was originally quoted.
It should not require me to start again to get a good deal (actually cheaper than my reviewal quote)
EDIT: I gave him the renewal code to get the price I was quoted but his answer was that 'computer says no'

Can’t cancel my subscription
Went on to cancel my subscription. Website won’t load and phone says they are shut for bank holiday weekend even though it’s not a bank holiday. Will not be happy if I get money taken out for a renewal because I can’t cancel!!!

I ordered a 6 month BBG Good Food…
I ordered a 6 month BBG Good Food subscription for a 3rd year university student for Christmas, I struggled to cancel it for the next 6 months as the link on their email is dead, so is their website. It has now auto renewed, which if I’m honest I don’t mind, but the student is moving out of their accommodation shortly after graduation to start work in a different part of the country near to his parents’ house.
This almost reflects badly on the BBC brand to be associated with this company, I’m guessing I will have to contact my bank but it is truly awful service.

Very poor customer service
I've been trying to cancel my subscription to Good Food but can't access the website. When I found a contact number for them it has a recorded message informing me that the office is now closed because of the bank holiday and will open on Tuesday!!!!! What bank holiday it's the middle of June and there's no bank holiday for another 2 months.
Very poor.

Radio Times not being delivered
I have subscribed to Radio Times via buysubscriptions.com for several years. There have been occasional missed issues, and my subscription has been extended by a week using the contact form. Lately, failed deliveries have become very common. Three out of the last four issues have been very late, or not arrived at all. The issue that did come arrived on the Saturday that listing began. Week 25 (15-21 June) arrived 9 days late on 20 June. Weeks 26 has not arrived at all.
It is easy to blame Royal Mail given their well known problems. However, everything else is delivered without any significant delay, including other magazines to which I subscribe.
I tried to report the missing Issue 26 on the website, but the contact page is just a blank white screen (in 3 different browsers on 2 devices).
I tried to telephone on 22 June and got a voicemail saying that the service was closed for the Bank Holiday weekend and would re-open on Tuesday. There is no Bank Holiday on this weekend, and I can only assume that this message has been there for 4 weeks since the last one.
I am aware that I can view the listing via the "app", but I pay for a printed copy. I am not getting what I pay for.

Probably Royal Mail delivery problems as we got the next weeks on the same day.
This issue happens regularly.

I’ve had a Radio Times subscription for…
I’ve had a Radio Times subscription for years, but did consider cancelling recently due to failed or late deliveries, but thankfully recent issues have arrived in good time. However, I would now like to cancel my subscription due to the over coverage of football - and other sporting events, leaving nothing but endless repeats for those of us who can’t stand football fever. This makes Radio Times just not worth the cost!

My subscription was automatically renewed without notice to me. I would have cancelled as I only buy it fir the film info. Since you cut most of these I don't want it any longer. I will be cancelling my direct debit.
This week's arrived Sat. lunchtime. Last weeks arrived very late, on Tuesday, half way through the week! Not great.

Poor & disappinting customer service
I purchased the radio times a few months ago & all going well until this week. My issue w/c 8.6.24 did not arrive and i contacted for a replacement copy which was an option request on thier website form. I am aware from other peoples complaints that they fob you off with there reply ' we have added an extra week to the end of your subscription' thst does not help me when i have to pay an addition £4 for my replacement you did not deliver. This lack of good customer service means in order to get my extra week from your error on my annual subscription, is to cancel and wait for you to contact me with a new offer. Such disappiinting when i can't get out & rely on others to help me. No encouragement to recommend if this is what i get for my money.

Where is my money?
This shambolic company incorrectly took £117.00 from my account. I have had FOUR phone conversations in which it is agreed that the money should be refunded - it still has not arrived.
On May 31, I asked to escalate the complaint, and was told to expect an email. Needless to say, no email has arrived.
Four (perfectly pleasant) phone conversations. Result - nothing but incompetence
