Go through Amazon not byAcre's website
I have a habit of doing my online business with the supplier directly skipping Amazon and other channels. I guess my view is I would rather have the firm make a bit more than pay a predatory fulfillment center. In the case of byAcre in the USA that may be a mistake.
I ordered directly on 22 December knowing the holidays might disrupt the 3-5 day window by a couple of days. It is now Jan 6 and I have know idea where I stand. After ordering they told me all was in stock except the bag, we agreed it could ship on Jan 5th when they expected a new supply.
I reached customer service online the morning of Jan 6 (they close at 10 am EST). It was a tortured conversation with an agent via chat. She had access to no information about my order. To get any information involved a 5-10 minute break as she had to connect with someone else. All I learned is there were now two items not in stock. They did not know which items, nor could they tell me what was happening with the rest of the order.
This took more than 30 minutes and I had to head to a meeting so the situation is unresolved. We have lost the ability to get insurance to pay for part of it because of the new year. So, it will cost us an extra couple of hundred out of pocket.
Bottom line, these guys are not equipped to handle a customer. You are far safer to go through Amazon or one of the few medical device companies they deal with (none work with Aetna).
The product has such poor workmanship that it is not reliably functional
The product is effective and works great when it is not falling apart. The bolts have fallen out over ten times at different points on the structure in the less than a year we have owned it. It has failed at the seat locking mechanism 3 times, at all FOUR BOTTOM STRUCTURE BOLTS AND ONCE AT THE UPPER STRUCTURE NUT AND BOLT. This causes a terrible situation where my wife has fallen several times and lost mobility without her walker many more as a result of the poor workmanship/design related to these fasteners. It is very disappointing that such a well designed product does not have the final requirements to be a top notch functional item for the market. We love the design, but can not tolerate the poor workmanship.

Amazing lightweight rollator
I ordered the ultralight wide rollator last week I was very skeptical because it was expensive for me. But I took the plunge and ordered it! So glad I did! As I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass, I’ve had great difficulty lifting my previous walkers as they were too heavy! This rollator is amazing! So lightweight, I love it! It was so easy to carry up and down steps and put in the car! Thank you for making such a great walker! Now I can get out and do more! MK

My experience with this company has been nothing short of terrible. I ordered directly from them in the hope that any customer service issue would be easily dealt with.
I bought a regular size rollator for my partner as a present. He likes to look stylish so the ByAcre product looked great. But we were dismayed to find that rollater was so narrow that on the first attempt to sit down and get up he nearly had a serious fall due to his clothing catching on the handles. I was dismayed, as we had taken all the measurements according to the website guidelines.
It turns out that although the seat width is 42.5cms the width between the handles is only 36cms. You’d have to be pretty skinny to get through that while wearing outdoor clothes.
I emailed to point this out and ask for a free exchange. The reply was that the small print tells you the width of the handles - so I am liable for the £69 return cost.
They do not recognise that I was sold something on false pretences and send AI written responses full of sympathy etc etc but saying that they don’t even do exchanges. I have to pay £69 to send it back, wait for a refund, and then re-order.
I would warn any other prospective buyer that the seat on a regular rollator is tiny - and therefore dangerous. My partner was indoors when he tried it, but had it been outside he could have had a serious fall. And remember, no exchanges and huge fees to return it.

Poor engineering.
A fall knocked the wheel and it turned out. After disassembling the joint it revealed fracture in the carbon fiber connection to the wheel. A new side was ordered to the cost of $283 and the bike shop repair guy said he recommended not fixing it because the opposite side was also shattered and would not be safe to use. ByAcre states this is not under warranty and offers advice but no monetary help. If we order another side we essentially will have paid for two rollators. A lovely but expensive walker that can’t handle a 162 pound person who fell…isn’t that what walkers are all about? Poor engineering on a designy rollator. Would not recommend buying the Overland byAcre.

I loved this rollator as soon as I saw it. Many cuts above other mobility aids. People always comment positively. I am practically an unpaid PR rep for Byacre. The disabled are, as your product proves, undervalued; we still appreciate beauty, which lightens all our lives. I do wish, since you've asked, that the wheels of the Overland rollator could be switched with those of the Ultralight. I imagine this has been considered and discarded, but something of the kind would be most helpful to people who cannot have a fleet of such beautifully designed yet expensive mobility aids. I have progressive MS, and must lean more than I'd like, also have trouble moving over gravel and regular ground, which is never regular, in a park for instance. So it is fast becoming an aid for indoors use only. I have studied the new Pioneer but prefer to stay with the carbon rollators. Unless you offer the equivalent of an automobile's "test drive." Thank you.

Very well-designed rollators
I own both a byAcre carbon ultralight and a Scandinavian Butler and I really love both! I have also owned a standard rollator and a Rollz Motion Performance. The ultralight is truly my favorite. It's sleek and very well designed. I have had a few minor issues but byAcre customer service has been pretty responsive. The biggest issue I've run into is that the Scandinavian Butler's brakes are finicky. It hasn't been an issue for me but my balance is pretty good. Hopefully they will fix those (or maybe already have since I bought my Butler when it first came out). The Ultralight is amazing; I've used it all the time for a few years now and still love it.

EXCELLENT QUALITY
I needed a light walker for ease of getting it in and out of the car. The Acre Carbon Light is the answer. Its weight of 10 pounds is so much better for me. Also, although I didn't buy it for style it sure has prompted a lot of positive comments. People often say it looks modern and stream-lined and easy to use. In Canada, it was quite a bit more expensive than the American model but worth every dollar. I congratulate the designers for creating a very accessible walker.

The rollator itself is great
The rollator itself is great. I have had it for more than 6 months now and love it. The accessories however could do with being improved. They are very disappointing given how good the main product is. I find trying to get it into the cover to transport it very difficult, it is a tight fit and would be much better being a bit more roomy. Also the backrest is not easy to attach or detach and the rollator cannot be folded with it in place which makes it not worth using. The cup holder moves too much when going over rougher ground, so much so water bottles fall out never mind spillages from cups. If the accessories were improved it would be a fantastic piece of kit.

God rollator - Dårlig service og ringe kommunikation
Jeg skriver på vegne af min mor, som har købt en rollator (Carbon Overland). Det er en glimrende rollator, som hun faktisk bruger meget og er glad for.
MEN: selve låsemekanisme - til op-og klapning af rollatoren er en dårlig konstruktion. Den er fastgjort til sædet, hvilket hurtigt skaber en malfunktion.
Jeg har gentagne gange mailkorresponderet med ByACRE om låsemekanismen på rollatoren. Den er blevet slap - hvorfor hun ikke længere selv kan slå rollatoren ud eller ind. Og her har jeg ganske enkelt oplevet, at ByAcre IKKE lever op til mine forventninger om service eller kommunikation. Først skriver de:
"Angående bremsen der er ved at være lidt sløv, kan du med fordel skifte bremsen.
Den kan købes her: ...". ...dels har jeg jo skrevet, at det ikke er bremsen! Dels undrer det mig at de ikke lever op til garantien.
Dernæst sender de et nyt link til selve låsen, som jeg kan købe for 23 euro! Jamen dels er det ikke låsen, dels er det jo stadig et spørgsmål om at garantien skal dække, hvis der er tale om en fejl ved produktet og ikke en fejl i forbindelse med forkert anvendelse.
Det er en rollator til 4999 kr. !

Not worth the price
The roller I received was broken and they would not accept a return. I was able to zip tie the roller so that I could use it however, there are many things wrong with it. I don’t like that the seat does not adjust. The brakes do not hold the roller in place. And the wheels are so large they get caught on things when trying to turn. For the price, I do not recommend this roller.

DO NOT BUY very flimsy and prone to breaking
I can say with confidence that the byacre pioneer rollator is absolutely NOT fit for purpose having had mine fully replaced for brand new THREE times due to it breaking. The first one I got, after just a few months of use, the handle fell off and was not repairable as they don't use standard rivets. Thankfully I had purchased from a very good retailer, not direct from byacre, who took the walker back and replaced it when they also couldn't repair it. The second, identical but brand new rollator catastrophically failed me after six months when I was out walking and the front wheel fell off. This was very dangerous, for obvious reasons, I use a walker because I am liable to falling, being out on my own when this happened was a scary experience, I had to call someone to come and pick me up as I was stranded and unable to walk. Yet again the retailer couldn't repair it because they don't use standard fittings so they kindly replaced the walker for me with a brand new one. The third time was the final straw though, I am in complete dismay that this has happened to me three times. Earlier today, just over six months on from the last replacement, whilst using the walker the bracket which holds the right side panel on just fell off whilst I was using it and the entire thing collapsed, leading me, yet again, to fall and once again stranded. The welding that holds the parts such as wheels, side brackets etc are extremely poorly welded on. Each time my walker broke it didn't snap, it wasn't forced or bumped, I didn't apply extra pressure, the welding simply came apart like it was never welded together properly in the first place. There has been no user misuse, I'm not over the recommended weight, this walker is simply not fit for purpose. Please don't buy it if you are frail and falling over could be a risk for you. Adding to this, like many others I have found the brakes to be fairly useless and the handles slip down. I also agree that the accessories are poorly designed, whilst everything looks good nothing quite lasts or fits together properly - the bags are supposed to hang on for dear life on a tiny thread of elastic. I will finally be swapping it this time for a different and more durable brand. It's a real shame as I chose the byacre for its good looks and light weight which seem to be it's main selling point. It does look good, I can't deny that, but that seems to have come at the cost of genuine quality and safety.
*I just want to add that I reached out to ByAcre about this issue and the response I got was basically 'You didn't buy it from us so not our problem'. No apology. I think that says it all. STEER CLEAR.
*2/11/26 In response to byAcres response below the last two frames I had were the 'new and Improved model' with the newer accessories. The breaks were more dangerous than the first. I have photos.
I also intentionally didn't say anywhere in my review where I bought my rollator from to protect my identity, disclosing this in your response is a breach of GDPR.

Jeg havde en rollator hvor krydset gik i stykker, jeg talte med Ulla.
Rollatoren var 5 år gammel og jeg havde slet ikke forestillet mig den fantastiske service jeg oplevede.
Nyt kryds ankom meget hurtigt og den skønne rollator er som ny.

I love my overland BUT….
I love my overland BUT….. I’ve had it less than a week and only been out with it twice and it makes the most awful, totally unacceptable noises even on just tarmac pavements so i can only imagine what it would sound like off road. I sent 3 videos to mobility assist who then sent them to byACRE to assess the problem. I wasn’t too impressed to be told by m/a that byACRE say the noise it makes is within the normal tolerance range. I don’t feel that spending £550 on a rollator and having this sort of noise is acceptable. Mobility assist have said if I’m not happy with it that they will pick it up and do some sort of repair on it and then return it to me. This can’t happen until the 21st October. I’m not happy that I will be without my rolator . I have multiple sclerosis and need my rolator as the old one I was using was too heavy so we scrapped it when I got my new one. I have multiple sclerosis and I really need my rollator. I had asked m/a if they could exchange my rollator but they said that they couldn’t guarantee that the new one wouldn’t make the same noise. I guess I’ll just have to hope the repair works. I am disappointed that it’s got to go back, it’s a shame that they couldn’t do the repair on a new rolator which by the video on byacre website is changing the front forks and send me that one and collect my rolator then I’d not be without one.
