Absolute garbage company. Most likely a bunch of monkeys would manage it better than it is now. Tracks are made of pasta or play doh. Ticket prices are horrendous for what they offer in return.

c2c Very awful line specially all year…

c2c Very awful line specially all year from 2019 up till now.
I live in Rainham Essex and now delays all most every second day. No trains on weekends! No right updates if they have some issues! No correct time. They should put more trains on track because the population of the people just increasing.
The train them self are very nice and clean in and out. I hope they will sort this problem soon not after 10 years!!!

The worst line you can travel in or out London. Cancellation trains is their everyday goal. Is a misery and joke of transport services.

I have bee on hold for over 3/4 hr…

I have bee on hold for over 3/4 hr trying to get through to Customer Services to find out why they have issued the wrong tickets for an on-line booking. Booking email clearly shows correct tickets ordered.

Very sad to have to leave this review as have been good in the past

Rhoda - liar from Upminster station

Rhoda from Upminster Ticket Office was extremely rude to me. She is a liar. First of all she claimed that she sold me a wrong ticket because she couldn't sell tickets other than for the journeys starting from Upminster. When asked to refund or call someone senior she refused and started saying that it was my own fault. I can't believe people like this are allowed to work with customers.

Me and my wife are both…

Me and my wife are both wheelchair-users. We were before 9 pm on 19th October 2019 at the station Southend Central waiting for train to London (West Ham).
The man from the service station wasn't eager to help us.
First he played a fool that he didn't understand me and later he told me that he was looking for the ramps although there two ramps at platform.
Was he drunk or what?

He finally helped us after 40 minutes of waiting on the platform only because the third disabled passenger on wheelchair- was getting nervous and demanded for help.

tried to get 10 packet tickets to get to Westcliff station once a week, but they told me to call by phone, well... nobody answers. There's written that I could get a discount given that I go to Westcliff for job reasons, but nobody, at the desk, is giving me info about it and nobody replies to my email and calls. Really bad custom service!!

Rude cashier at Upminster

Be careful when buying tickets from cashier called Rhoda. She is completely incompetent and overcharges you (check google reviews, she does it regularly). When asked to refund was extremely rude and lying to cover her error. Refused to explain refund procedure. Never received a refund and was denied to speak to a manager

Would give minus stars if possible!
Help desk when they finally do answe the phone totally hopeless!
Customer service worse! Never call back, never send e-mails as promised!
All staff read from the same hymn book! That is lie, cheat and DENY!!
Still waiting for my refund and compensation for 2 months!! 59 phone calls ! 200 e-mails!
Now taking legal action! AVOID!

There are queues to get tickets out the doors all the time, staff seem to think they are doing in you a favour selling a ticket, the machines work only sometimes. The smart card payment system has worked for me 50% at best but they still take the money and you have to ask for it back which in my case took weeks and multiple calls and emails. Just spent another 40 minutes waiting for them to answer the phone to be told send a screenshot. I wish I could avoid them but I, like many, dont have a choice, which they seem to know. Avoid if you can

Promised a refund of tickets twice as…

Promised a refund of tickets twice as their smart card did not work at my station when it clearly should of and took my bank details twice by phone. Then decided to backtrack a couple weeks later and offer vouchers instead? Why? when I paid for this in cash?

Stupid and incompetent service. DO NOT USE. A company is built on truth, honesty, and integrity from first contact.

If you made a mistake I expect you to follow through to the end!

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service!
Trains to and from Dagenham dock always delayed of 20 minutes at least!
Yesterday the 7:41 was cancelled and this has caused me 30 minutes delay to get to work,
This morning it was delayed of 5 minutes and has caused me being late again.
This afternoon the afternoon 16:24 was cancelled and the next is now at 16:53 so I am here waiting 30 minutes for the next train!
Add more trains and times like you do with Barking as this causes lot of problems at least 2 times a week

Today

Today, I've got a ticket return from London to Leigh-on-sea. It was affordable and flexible. I really recommend the Anytime ticket. Thanks to this company, I might go out of London more often on the weekends.

Zero trust in this company or their…

Zero trust in this company or their online payment system.
I paid £350 for a ticket, they took my money out of my account but their server often crashes out and you receive no ticket for travel.
And instead of an immediate refund or getting online to provide you with a ticket, they say wait 7 days. They are absolutely useless.
So you end up with no money, no ticket, and no way to travel. That's their customer support solution. Do they expect us to pay another £350 to have exactly the same problem? There is absolutely no confidence in their online ticketing system or customer support.
