One of the ticket checker named DANA…
One of the ticket checker named DANA ,she came to check the ticket even though i had a ticket ,i didnt realize my railcard was expired .it was just been 1 month .they were so rude and offensive while talking . And i am gonna take further action for it
Customer Relations are a disgrace
Most offensive, company i have had to deal with,
I worked from them before mnany years ago so it is so sad to see what has become of this company even worst now it nationalized which is a shock as thought it would be better, admitting to being in the wrong without say sorry or helping of with the stupid non-smart cards. and then to round it off calling my wife MR when pointed out the first email after was MRS and then reverted back to MR again for the last 4 emails unsure if the are a real human or Artificial Bot. Nazia needs re-educated on how to help and address customers. my wife has never felt so humiliated. Wonder when the next Meet the Manager is at Fen ST.? funny as this is a claimed profile for C2C but no reply to peoples concerns. Sad Really
No way to have an electronic ticket
No way to have an electronic ticket. The only way to buy a ticket is via machines. Missed our train because of this.
Sad services…
Don't think they care for the reviews because they are monopoly but things can change... They never synchronised to add oyster type of connection to London. 20 years now the same stressful run to get the ticket last moment. Not very clean and always cancellations and delays. No late trains. They just don't care for clients. In fact they would rather have their trains going and coming empty If they could...
21:28 from Liverpool st
21:28 from Liverpool st, no info no info about 20min delay, only when 21:30 on the clock info poped up delayed till 21:45, terrible service, what is this? Third world country kind of service.
Insufficient service
If c2c is rated as the best rail line service then god only knows what the other "services" are like! So poorly run, always runs late, has constant cancellations, charges high ticket rates, changes whether it stops at certain stations due to delays. It's honestly pathetic!
Given false info after a disrupted journey then put on indefinite hold when trying to challenge… bad experience all around!
Booked a journey from West Ham to Basildon - all services were fine on all accounts both on the TrainPal app and also on the actual C2C company website. Get to the station to be told no trains to Basildon after waiting around for a long time. Tried to complain only to be told “there is no complaints phone number”, when their email directs you to a phone number. Get through and get told I’ll receive an email within ten minutes regarding reimbursement. The email never comes, I call back and am told to hold again. Call somehow magically drops after 5-10 mins of holding, try to call back and are put on an indefinite hold despite the fact there was no queue the first two times I called. Very interesting behaviour and very awful customer service, wouldn’t ever recommend considering it’s quite clear if you try and complain the just put you on indefinite hold and shut you out!

This company is a joke they charge a lot of money for travel and yet don’t provide the good service , trains delayed or cancelled constantly , replacement buses that are taking forever to take you to your destination . People keep complaining but they are not doing anything to change it for better .Absolutely joke , very unhappy customer !
Daily delays very bad service

Mohamed at the Barking station ticket office was really helpful today, he was a start at helping me buy the tickets and communicating with me!
C2C – The Most Unreliable Train Operator in the UK?
Delay after delay after delay – that’s the daily reality with C2C lately. Twice this week alone I’ve found myself stuck just outside the station, baking in scorching heat, waiting endlessly for a train that never comes. The cause? Yet again, a “signalling fault” – the same excuse they trot out over and over.
How can a system be so broken and never properly fixed? How is it acceptable that passengers are left with zero clear communication, no air conditioning, and no solution in sight?
It honestly feels like no one is held accountable. C2C might just be the worst train operator in the country right now, and I’m amazed it’s still allowed to function the way it does. When will someone finally step in and replace this operator with one that understands reliability, maintenance – and basic respect for paying customers?
Shameful.
No respect for their customers
If I could give zero stars, I would. Overcharged on pay as you go, no signs on the station anywhere to warn the customers of the technical issues. No warning on the C2C app either. Like they were hoping that many would use debit/credit cards to travel during the time of the technical issues. Was given a refund of £3,even thought the overcharge was £5.90. This is not the first time that C2c disappoints. Nationalise it, please!
Kind and helpful staff
No Toilets
Once again no toilets available on
the train. Disgusting and it's new coaches. Your attention to basic rights is appalling and no it's not the first time.
Shocking for the dares you charge
Purchased few advance tickets online…
Purchased few advance tickets online for a travel but due to health reasons, I needed to return the tickets. Was charged £5 each admin fee. I would not recommend you to purchase online tickets cause they will not give you a full refund for it. Best to purchase paper tickets instead.
Awful awful service
Awful service. Most of the time delayed or cancelled. If I could I would give 0 stars. I'm always late to work because of this. But... givinig this horrible service they never forget to charge overpriced charges for traveling.
If it was possible to give a train…
If it was possible to give a train service 0 stars c2c would be it, this train will get you sacked I’m not overreacting when I say this train is never on time and delays every single day if the train is that faulty fix it and stop letting others suffer from it!!
Very stingy with refunds
Very stingy with refunds. I had a train cancelation and all trains after that was cancelled too, and everyone was stranded for an hour or two, unable to get to their destinations. C2C refunded me... £1.90! From my £6.60 ticket! Also, these delays happen around once a week, so this isn't just a one time thing.
Well it was Monday I want to speak…
Well it was Monday I want to speak about. Worst day of my life and I’ve never felt so Low, but Gary that was one of the workers at chafford hundred train station was just literally there for me I feel like humanity is just restored with people like him so if you see the Gary I hope you get the accolades and blessings your owed you legend #Bestgranddad Your family should be so proud of you bro 👊🏾🤝🏾 Thank you for being there my guy
Cancellation2Cancellation
Cancellation2Cancellation. Always late. Woeful communication. How they're ranked as one of the better train operators in the UK is beyond me.
