scam!!

This “company” is a scam!! Do your research, look at the google street view. My dad confronted them over the phone and they had nothing to say. The CRA says they do not deal with them at all!

Not a good consideration

I have nothing good to say about this company, there a total rip, they say I was enrolled in there program. But never gave any information to them, but where taking money from my account for 8 months. But cause they said that I was enrolled in their program, they will not refund my money back. Even if I canceled my enrolment. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS! As I am writing this money has been stolen from my account by cactus credit. They front themselves as a debt relief business and are very convincing. They always call from a different number and never pick up the phone when you call them back. They said they would have a follow up conversation before any transactions are made and are very persistent to make sure all debt payments go through them as a third party, but none of this money actually goes toward paying off debt.

All they do is take your money

All they do is take your money, always sending the same email saying things are going my way but everytime I asked for a report ...never got it, all I got was response from Equifax/transunion telling me it's useless to use them ( true or false? That I don't know but...)I do not recommend them at all. If I could it would be 0 star.

Because there are so many credit repair…

Because there are so many credit repair companies to select from, I was really anxious about the search. Need I say more? Cactus Credit is a fantastic business with prompt results and excellent communication throughout the entire process. They have my unwavering recommendation to relatives and friends!

Cactus are SCAMMERS!!

I am glad that i was able to stop alot of people from doing business with these crooks..They are very bad with communication, all they want is to get your money..they stole my $1,900.00 and they never filed a credit proposal for me. After I found some unethical things they were doing I told them I wanted to cancel and requested my money back and they refused..DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE DAMN SCAMMERS!!!THEY HAVE BLOCKED ME FROM THERE WEBSITES BUT THAT WILL NOT STOP ME FROM WARNING OTHERS!!

Did absolutely nothing for me

Did absolutely nothing for me. Told to defer my payments and almost 2 months later still nothing. Multiple emails sent with no response or reassurance. Once I reached out to cancel is when contact was made and was told I would still have to make a scheduled payment. I have no schedule for payments and was told I would still have to make payments before cancellation. I said for what? There has been no correspondence to inform me of any work other than what you are saying now that I have chosen to cancel. Told I was past 39 days to cancel nowhere in the initial agreement does it say any such thing. Multiple excuses for no work performed. Fraud is what I see.

WOW!

WOW! CACTUS Credit did an awesome job, they weren't able to give me a file number since the day i hired them three months ago the same month they already started taking money from my account. they always say it will be file next month since from the beginning, the best part is when i had enough, my patience run out, i phoned them to cancel my application because no information were given to me like file number, i asked them if i can have my money back since there were no work done, they said i cannot have it back and i have to pay them in full! WOW.....bad company to deal with and everything they said in the beginning were all wrong. they just want money!

If I could select 0 stars I would

If I could select 0 I would. The advisor I spoke to was rude, failed to answer exactly what the service would be doing for me and tried to get me to agree to spend multiple of hundreds of dollars. It literally sounded like a complete scam.

When I refused and said I wasn’t interested (it was not what I was looking for) she kept on forcibly trying to get me to agree to accept the payment terms and her program she was selling. I maintained that I wasn’t interested and she proceeded to insult me telling me she was just being blunt and then when I made it clear being mean to me was not going to sell me on the product she yelled something (unsure what she said) and hung up on me.

Her behaviour was like dealing with an angry child and completely not appropriate for a “so called reputable business”. Completely unacceptable.

Pocketing money

Only gave a second star because the first few interactions with Cactus were great. I was told I was going to be able to have my debt reduced by almost 75%. Then they had me send them all my banking and debt info to send over to a legal trustee on my behalf. I paid cactus the legal fees (roughly 1300 dollars) and then I was handed over to the trustee to work with from there. Not only did my trustee negotiate a lower monthly payment than what cactus had originally estimated (by almost 100 per month) they set my payments to start next month. Then all of a sudden cactus starts taking money out of my account to start paying my debt back (when the trustee has said they handle ALL payments from me to my creditors). I emailed them MULTIPLE times, and so did my trustee agent, with zero reply.
Finally was able to get ahold of Cactus via phone and I'm told "I pay them the first 5 payments (which is actually 10 as I was slated for biweekly) before I start to pay my trustee..... which makes no sense as the trustee is collecting debt payments by end of month (after "2 biweekly payments to cactus"), effectively INCREASING my debt payments from $350/m to almost 800 starting the end of the month (March) and going into July (basically 4 months of DOUBLE payments to cactus and the trustee at the same time - so if the creditors agree on 350 per month, who is pocketing the other 450 per month???? Seems like cactus is). This was NEVER collected in writing, they seemingly always weasel a way around putting anything in writing and only speak on the phone. BEWARE of using a "middle man" like cactus and just go straight to a trustee to handle your debts if you think consolidation is right for you. I'm out money currently because of cactus and they don't seem to want to fix this whole ordeal or speak to the trustee to get it all sorted out. Very unprofessional. I should be rating zero stars. If anyone has any questions i have all the proof to back this up and messages from my trustee agent showing the lack of professionalism by cactus in not responding to the issues brought forth.

We want to extend our sincerest apologies for the negative experience that you had with our customer service agent and the miscommunication that has taken place. Just to clarify, we are a credit repair company not a middle man service. The reason you were directed to one of our partnered trustee's is due to the large amount of debt you had. Once we are able to help you take care of your debts, we start our credit repair process which is why most of our clients choose to come through Cactus! We send out rounds of disputes to both credit bureaus to help repair your credit history which will improve your credit score.
The extra payment that was processed from your bank account was a mistake from Farber and as per our phone conversation on March 2nd, we are refunding that payment.

Definitely Scammers

So I had applied for a loan with GoLoans. Was told that their "partner" Cactus would contact me. When they called, the man said "so your looking for a loan consolidation?" I said no..... a loan. Then he asked me to send a void cheque and a photo ID (which is standard for a loan). When I went to do the online bank verification, my bank locked me out for security reasons. 1st red flag.

He "transferred" me to someone who had a few questions and it was the SAME guy talking in a lower voice. He asked for the last 3 digits of my social, and which if the 5 #'s he listed were my past cell number, etc... (all questions used to verify your identity and shouldn't be given to anyone).

I wanted to see how far he would go before I hung up and he said he was transferring (again) to his manager. The "woman" was him talking in a high-pitched voice! All 3 of these people had the same Eastern-European sounding accent/voice!
They tried to get me to consolidate by saying my score was 440, when I was LOOKING at it my report at 580. She said it fluctuates (but scores don't fluctuate by 100 points). When I said forget it, "she" got an attitude and started yelling over me. So I hung up.
Stay very far away from this company

Best feeling ever !

I was really happy about the whole situation and the whole step-by-step of getting things done with my debts. It was much more convenient to go through this way then do in the other way I was falling behind on bills and not getting anywhere. So I am so happy that you guys helped me out and getting my debts into one and yeah thank you.
