Avoid!

Ordered 12 September and still waiting! Customer support just keeps thanking me for my patience, which I assure them ran out a long time ago, and that it’s on its way. Avoid at all costs and learn by my mistake.

Is this company a scam?

I placed my order 10 weeks ago and the blanket still hasn't arrived.
Customer service replies just tell me to be patient, but I have started to think that this is a scam.
Luckily, I used my credit card for the purchase so I have started the process to recover my money.
I would suggest extreme caution if you want to place an order with this company.

Lovely blanket, delivery extremely slow, cust services awful

Ordered a blanket on Sept 21 2025 and, a month later, it has still not been shipped. They have supplied many excuses but haven't supplied the item ordered

Blanket finally arrived in December and it is very nice. Don't think I'd order from them again, however, due to issues with delivery

I’m really disappointed with my order…

I’m really disappointed with my order from The Calming Co. The product I received looked nothing like the photos on their website. It was shipped from Hong Kong (not Australia), arrived with no invoice, was extremely thin, had a strong chemical smell, and the design was barely even visible.
I reached out to customer service and was only offered a 50% refund, which I don’t think is fair considering the product is clearly not what was advertised. I requested a full refund but they’ve refused, and now I’ve had to escalate the issue through Afterpay.
This has been a really frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here unless you’re okay with mystery packages and poor quality. Definitely not what I expected.

I ordered 4th April

I ordered 4th April. Still waiting. I got email to say something along the lines they had manufacturing problem. Then got different email to say its with courier and will arrive soon. Went to courier page put tracking number in and was told that it didn't exist.
Sent another 2 email showing evidence of the courier and asked for refund. Haven't received a reply. Not sure where to take this now to get my money back.
Stay away from calming blanket as you get the run around.

For my mum

Ordered a calming sherpa Donna for my mum. Was told it be delivered in 5 days. 13 days on still nothing. Terrible le company. Keeps saying it has been dispatched and will be in 5 days another 5 days passed still nothing. As item not been received or no proof it on the way asked for a refund which they refused to give. Will never order from here again. Terrible experience

Disappointing

After having the blanket only less than a year has ripped and the best they have to offer for is a $10 compensation. Wow spending more than a couple hundred dollars for a blanket and I placed my trust in this company after researching for a while. Was a pleasant blanket but not for long.
Quick responses in replying but disappointing brand.
Will make sure to warn others to avoid

Don’t order from these guys!!!

Bad experience ordering from this company. Will never order from them again. Ordered 5/1/24, got no notifications that the order would be delayed so after a couple of weeks I emailed. Told on the 23/1 ‘rest assured, your order will be on its way to you shortly’ and then today, 21/2, I receive an email that due to them ‘changing their system’ the order has been cancelled and refunded due to it being a new order. Sorry, what?!! Haven’t seen the money in the bank yet so I hope that’s still coming. Very disappointed, and very frustrated that they weren’t upfront about it. We’ve wasted two months almost waiting for this toy that might be able to help our child. Thanks for nothing, Calming Blankets!

Edit: did end up getting our money back, thankfully!

Questionable business practices DO NOT PURCHASE FROM DAVIE GROUP

DISGUSTING business practices. APPALLING customer service. Davie Fogarty should be absolutely ashamed that his name is anywhere close to this brand. They don't care at all about customer service, it seems they're only interested in getting your money. I ordered in NOVEMBER for their black friday sale, I recieved shipping information assuring me that my items would be delivered before Christmas. On the 2nd of January I recieved a second tracking number. WHERE ARE MY ITEMS?
Ironically I need that calming blanket more than ever after having to deal with this company.
I have sent email after email after email after email, for a month now I have been attempted to contact this company, they have responded ONCE with a very generic email and subsequently "temporarily closed" their website.
I would go as far to say avoid ALL Davie Group products, including Oodie - if this is allowed to happen at one company, I'm sure it will happen at others
UPDATE as of 29/01: Still never recieved my products, went to Twitter to contact Davie personally after all else failed and was put to his assistant (he was on a cruise in Antartica). I was informed that apparently it was with their "fulfilment partner" who wasn't responding to them... They issued me a refund but I really just wanted my products. I've asked to be kept informed because I'd like the actual blanket and eyemask I ordered.

Appalling customer service. The company can't cope!

Ordered on 12th Dec because they promised delivery from their UK depot in 3-4 days. ( needed by Christmas). After a week I enquired where my delivery was, and when they eventually responded they said they were having difficulty with supply and it would be another 7 days. The tracking info given was non-existant and only showed up ATFER delivery.
I was also bombarded with ads and discounts for further products. Are they having a laugh? They couldnt even deliver one order so why would I make another?
After repeated messages I received
a quilt cover on Dec 27 but no quilt. Thats pretty useless. Repeated messages were responded to with a standard message saying that they were still processing my order.....right into mid January.
It eventually turned up on 25th January, 6+ weeks after it should have been delivered, and way too late!
Surprisingly for such a cowboy company, the quality looks fine, but this company gives the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. Hopefully Australians get better service. Totally unacceptable. I will never use the company again and recommend no one else does either, especially in the Uk.
After reading other reviews it seems I was lucky to receive my blanket at all.... but I didn't write any negative reviews until I did. I wonder if that had any bearing on it?

To calming blankets: Don't promise what you can't deliver!!!

Ordered two items received only one.

Ordered two items, received only one and after two months I am still waiting for the second item to arrive. From what I see here, I was lucky I received the first item in first place. Emailed multiple times and this “Red” person is replying to keep an eye to my email for the second tracking number. It had been a month since his first reply. I believe no item or payment will ever arrive.

Scam

Scam! Ordered a blanket on the 17th of December, provided fake shipping information, when you email general email from Red is received, today went to check my order, all social media’s gone and shops not available, message says not taking orders.

If only I could give 0 stars…absolutely…

If only I could give 0 stars…absolutely useless, promise a fast turnaround in the UK, still waiting for an order that was placed on 29th November 23 for grandchildren as Xmas presents, numerous emails sent for explanation, generic email sent back, still nothing from the company apart from the order confirmation! Refund requested and nothing yet! Still receiving emails regularly advertising fast delivery in UK, absolute joke. Really disappointing and will be taking this further. DO NOT USE.

Do not waste your time

Same as the previous reviews.
Ordered on 13th December and still not arrived on 28th December.
Promised it would arrive in 7 days but it did not.
This is the first bad review I have written as I was so shocked with the customer service.
They was no apology or explanation.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
