I would love to be able to give zero…

I would love to be able to give zero stars.

Ordered a blanket and weighted teddy on 24/11 for Christmas presents. Had no emails at all from company apart from initial confirmation of order. Eventually when I kept chasing up I was told that orders were taking 7 days' longer than usual (this was already irrelevant to me as it has been longer than this!).

I kept emailing but received only generic word salad responses and no actual product! As if is nearly 2 months now I am pursuing a refund through my bank (company has ignored my refund request emails for 2 weeks now) and reporting them to trading standards.

Oh but I have received plenty of spam marketing emails from them in this time!

AVOID COMPLETELY AS THEY CLEARLY HAVE NO PRODUCT AND NO ETHICS

Item not arrived, terrible customer service.

Ordered two items from UK branch in November 2022. The compression sheet arrived after a couple of weeks. I was informed by email that the second item had been dispatched on 8th December but as of today, 12th January, the tracking is still showing that it is with the company and has not been received by the courier. On querying this and asking for a refund, company claimed no refund could be issued because it had been dispatched and I received a further dispatch notification. Tracking is still the same and I believe this second dispatch email to be delaying tactics.
They are now ignoring my emails. There is no contact number obvious on the website.
This is a big shame as I run a large sleep consultancy and have been recommending the company’s products because of their price point - I will not do in future.
Terrible service, terrible customer service. It takes nothing to be honest and hold your hands up when you’ve got something wrong.
Edited to add: The reply below is TOO LATE. Your Trustpilot score is terrible and full of people like myself who have had enough. The time to do something was when we were raising the alarm back in December. You have lost trust and deserve to lose a lot of business.

WILL NOT RECOMMEND for UK

Ordered the blanket from Calming blanker UK in Nov2023 and received it in Jan2024! Tried reaching out and got told they had back-log and when asked to cancel the order, I got told my order was processed and on its way for delivery. Poor customer support and kept getting commercial ad- emails every few days if not daily. If you have such a back-log, stop sending ad emails and try providing better customer support.

WILL NOT recommend anyone to order blankets from this company.

Orderd blanket got told they had back…

Orderd blanket got told they had back log! Cancelled order they confirmed the cancellation......yet refuse to reply to e mails or RETURN MY MONEY!!!! I have sent numerous emails with no reply! Also can't retrieve previous e mails they have disappeared...takes me to a clearly made yp e mail address too! Doesnt even look legitimate, even tho I ordered off their website on Google! Disgusting start to 2024 taking advantage of someone who needed it urgently for their child!
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY!!!! fraudulent and steal your money! Will be reporting them to trading standards!

Uk delivery poor

I've ordered since 30 November and today is 5 Jan and no acknowledgement, no response to my chasing email and no delivery. They also don't have a phone.number to talk to a human being so I'm just waiting for my order with no real understanding of when I would get it.

I've ordered once before and it came and it was a good purchase so just hoping the company isn't a scam.

Just thought I would add my experience that has been the same as everyone else’s. To summarise
2 November order placed.
11th November chased my order as it still hadn’t been shipped
12th November I got told it was a 7 day backlog.

16 emails in total back and forwards to get confirmation of a refund today! Over 2 MONTHS later.

They blocked me on all social media for trying to get them to respond to emails (average of 4 days plus to respond) and trying to warn customers as the trust pilot on their website is very out of date.

If anyone wants a good weighted blanket with similar cover option YNM similar price and arrived the next day through Amazon

Don’t purchase from this company

I could literally copy and paste so many of the reviews left by others & wish I’d read the reviews before I ordered from this company.

Placed an order for a kids calming blanket on 14.12.23, item hasn’t been received. Emailed them about it and got a lengthy response telling me they had issues with their supply chain but my order would be on its way to me, still nothing. Emailed again this evening - let’s see if I get a response.

Fraudulent

Placed an order on the 25th of October and sent dozens of emails chasing the company about order status, only to constantly receive automated, dishonest and inconsistent responses. Just as a refund enquiry was sent from my end, the replies became slower and again, ignoring my specific request entirely. All emails were generic with one fraudulent excuse after another. I have recently managed to request a refund via PayPal, which was immediately approved - making me think the UK Calming Blankets company is already recognised as a scam. Please do not place any orders with them, unless you're wishing for an experience which is in fact distressing.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. I ordered on the 28th nov. No sign of my order. They offered a refund when i complained i emailed back immediately asking for a full refund and they took 16 days to reply and then said they couldn’t offer me a refund as the order has been processed now still no sign. And they haven’t updated their trust pilot rating on their website. It seems the company is falling apart

I’ve previously bought a calming…

I’ve previously bought a calming blanket for my son, which he loves, so had planned to get one for my daughter too. In the meantime, she decided that she really wanted one for Christmas so I ordered one on 27th November, in plenty of time. Unfortunately, a month later and I still haven’t received my order or information about it. I’ve emailed to chase it and been sent a generic reply that orders are taking longer than normal so expect a 7 working day turnaround. Also telling me to not send any more emails as it will put my query to the back of the queue. I’ve asked for a refund 3 times as I explained that I needed this in time for Christmas and they haven’t delivered (despite being ordered a month in advance). I’ve still not received any refund, or notification of when it will be sent. I can only think that they have gone under and are getting as many Christmas orders as they can before disappearing without fulfilling any of them. So frustrating, especially when you’ve placed trust in them to deliver gifts for your children. I would advise to avoid as there is obviously something not right here - I’ve even received a marketing email whilst awaiting information from them entitled, “we’ve missed you” and offering me a discount on additional purchases. Very dodgy, would advise to absolutely avoid. Clearly gathering sales without intending to fulfil any of them.😡

Do not order from this company

Similar to all other posters I wish I had read these reviews. I purchased the silver ion blanket and a bamboo blanket on the Black Friday sale for my autistic son. When I enquired about the order and shipping status, (3 weeks after the purchase and having had no update whatsoever regarding dispatch), I was told they had received an overwhelming amount of orders it would 7 days to clear the backlog and the order would be shipped out then. That was 2 weeks ago. Subsequent emails have not been responded to. Finally I asked to cancel the order and that too has not been responded to. Clearly the company have gone overboard with advertising and taken on too many orders without the means to supply the demand.

Unprofessional and Borderline Fraudulent

Calming Blankets brags on their website that they have 4.5 stars on Trustpilot, which gave me the (false) impression that they are a professional and well-run company. I placed an order for one (1) blanket on 22 November and today (23 December) I still have no courier information, meaning the item hasn't even shipped out yet. This is especially confusing because 3 weeks ago they claimed no changes could be made to the order (including, I presume, refunds) because it was already handed over to the courier, which is evidently not true (or else I would have the courier info via Shopify). The customer service has also been poor. I followed up with them to ask if I could have courier info to update my shipping information, but did not receive a reply. I followed up a week later. Finally yesterday (one month after ordering) I received a lengthy email telling me they have been "inundated" with emails. This last email from them did not answer my last email at all, so I suspect it's a template email they're now sending en masse to everyone. It's the company's responsibility to foresee increased activity over the holidays and either hire more staff to match demand or else lower their online sales availability. Instead, they've recently slapped a "long wait times" warning on their website to make customers liable for their unprofessional behaviour. I am asking them to cancel my order and, if they do not reply soon, I will be opening a claim and canceling through my bank payment method. I wish I could write a review actually discussing the quality of their products, but instead I have made a Trustpilot account to further warn shoppers that if you order from this company, you will likely not be receiving your purchase.

Complete waste of time

Complete waste of time. Luckily the money can be claimed back through the bank as I have spend £69 and am being completely ignored. I see that Calming Blankets are still posting on Facebook so there is at least someone running/working for the company. Ordered 8th December and have had not one single reply to any of my inquiries.

Due to external issues with our contracted fulfilment provider, we have been unable to fulfil orders and give timely outcomes/information to our customers.

We acknowledge that you may have outstanding issues or inquiries, and we apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. Until we can resolve these issues, we will be holding on new orders and have put new procedures in place to help existing customers.

Refusing to cancel and offer a refund

Same experience as others. I ordered mid November, a blanket and covers. After a few emails with them and then reading reviews I cancelled the order. The covers then got shipped the day after. Now they are saying that they can't cancel the order because part of it has been shipped (coincidently). I've told them to send a prepaid label and I will send it back, I was prepared to keep the covers as spare and get a refund for the blanket. Not now!!

I've sent 2 emails a week apart requesting the prepaid label and I've had no response. Absolutely awful company!!
