I ordered some shoes from Camden London however, after a few days they informed me that that particular colour had been discontinued and would I like an alternative. As the shoes were to watch a specific outfit I emailed back requesting a full refund. Since then Ive received daily emails offering alternatives. Each time Ive replied saying all I want is a full refund, why is it so difficult, Ive received no goods, therefore refund me! It's frustrating, time wasting and ILLEGAL!
Don't go anywhere near this company, unless you want a whole lot of hassle. In future I will always check out trust pilot before ordering, the comments and score say it all.

Same experience as everyone else. This organization is a scam. I have applied to American Express for a cancellation of the payment. Otherwise I’ve lost £105 and a month waiting for the unbelievably bad quality clothes to arrive. Feel stupid to have been scammed.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star.
3 weeks to deliver, wrong size sent and blamed me for ordering the wrong size.
Offered a 25% refund and can keep the shoes!
They’re too small and I don’t think my feet will shrink by two sizes anytime soon.
Telling me to return them (to China) at my cost.
The worst quality materials used, I wouldn’t even put them in a jumble sale. Camden London Clothing should not be allowed to trade.
Please steer clear of them.

Please please please read previous reviews. The quality of the Harrington jacket I received was absolutely awful.
Essentially the returns and refunds cost is down to the customer. The factory is in China. And you will only receive a partial refund.
Although intimated in their advertising this is not an English product.
I contacted somebody called Ella in their customer service department ( that is a laughable title ). All of her answers to my complaint are just standard copy and paste replies.
You have been warned.

Over a month to deliver a pair of shoes, nothing like the pair shown in the picture,wrong size poorest quality absolute rubbish. Don’t buy anything from this company

I purchased a pair of size UK 13 mens shoes and was sent size 10s and told that they were the correct size over and over again , return postage would be expensive as they are based in China even though they look and sound like UK quality company _ I should have checked Trustpilot before I ordered - then I would not have ordered. C L refused to accept that they were incorrect, their refund relies on you paying the postage unless the item is damaged faulty or incorrect - it was incorrect but they refused to admit this. I had to wait for 15 days after I had sent many emails to appeal to them morally and legally which they were impervious to and then raised the complaint with my bank, - the very next day I finally achieved a refund. Also - the shoes took a very long time to come - I think it was over a month and the quality was poor.

They don’t give you an exact date for delivery. It took a whole month to receive the products. And their costumer service is horrible. Then they’re refusing to give me a refund and saying I have to cover the refund myself and send it to china. They say they’re based in Europe. They’re not. They get their dresses from Ali express in china and sell it for a higher price. They are absolutely the worst company I have bro ugh they from. They said I have to cover the amount to send it back which comes upto 30-100 pounds which is so scammish. Or they will only give me a 10% refund which was like 3 pounds and then they’ll give me store credit to buy from their stupid shop again which I will never do. Someone needs to report this business for scamming. If there is a way to do it I’ll do it myself.

The state of this company purchased some lofas, not even in a box and shipped from china, they are horrendous the worst quality product I’ve ever purchased

Refund you have to send it back yourself to china which costs more than the product itself do yourself a favour and stay clear!

Despite the name of the shop, these people have nothing to do with London. I ordered two weeks in advance to a wedding I was attending and the website stated delivery was up to 10 days. Needless to say, the jacket I ordered never arrived from China until well after the wedding. The jacket cost over £50 and was laughably bad quality. It bore no resemblance to the photograph that they showed on their website. It looked like one of these cheap cosplay jackets that you get for a few pounds from Amazon. I'm now on my 21st email to the company and have initiated a charge back through my card. This would appear to be the only thing that rattles them as I assume too many chargebacks will mean the termination of their credit card agreement with Visa or MasterCard. Please try to be a bit more sensible than I was and keep a million miles away from this company.

Absolutely terrible experience.
Ordered size 14 mens shoes, they sent a size CN46 which is size 11. The quality was also very bad, supposed to be leather but looked more like plastic. They took weeks to arrive, from China.
Asked to return for a refund, they said they were the correct size ordered but clearly 3 sizes too small.
They then spent a week arguing about the return despite their advertised free 30 days return policy.
Every email offered me a partial refund or store credit and to keep the shoes even though they acknowledged they were too small.
Finally got a return addreess, China.
Avoid at all costs, this is a front for a dodgy Chinese set up.

Delivery time over a month Finally arrived after several e mails Wrong colour Quality 1 out of ten. No labels. Incorrect sizing Also bank flagged up if genuine company. I should have listened. Now it seems they don’t have proper return system !! You have to return at own cost to Asia

Nine (9) days since my order and I receive this email:
“Your order #1XXX is almost on its way. We're finalizing the last steps before dispatch."
I ordered 5 days before the event for which I purchased the garments. Useless. Amazon is your competition / standard for delivery and you are a very long way off!

I did not even want to give them ONE star. I am still trying to get a refund from them. I waited over 2 weeks to receive my shoes that look nothing like the picture and were 3-4 sizes too small. They just keep saying that they sent the size that I ordered. They clearly DID NOT. I ordered a UK15 and was sent a EU 47. A UK15 is a EU51.

Avoid them at all costs. I wish that I had checked on here before using the scamming lowlifes.

Update: they offered a pair of correct size shoes . I refused saying that they were being shippeddirectly from China not the Netherlands as implied on their website and on the advice of a previous reviewer I told them that I was Initiating a credit card chargeback. They then offered me an 85% refund and I keep the tiny shoes 🙄. I took the 85% refund and it was deposited within a few days, so my experience is, refuse to send the items back, tell them it's their error or appalling quality and tell them you are initiating a chargeback. For me 85% is better than nothing! Original post:
This is a SCAM. The clothing and shoes are all on sale, when were they full price? I ordered shoes and like other reviewers was sent the wrong size for which they blame me 🙄, despite me having proof via the confirmation email. I suspect this scam company will fold shortly and open up under a new name. Yes, I fell for it, I thought it was British because of the company name. Lesson learned.

If there was zero stars then id have gone for that. Absolutely shocking quality.
You would also think from the name that this was a uk based store... nope china. Returns cost me almost £40!! I'd have sold them on vinted but honestly the quality was not worth losing my 5 star rating and id have only got a quid each! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Just don’t buy anything from them. Worst quality clothing I’ve ever seen, not even remotely like the image. Return is back to china after sending them videos and photos of the item which will likely cost as much as the item. AVOID

Mis-leading website from the name to the product. Chinese rubbish that has to be returned to China for a refund

Quality beyond poor, comes from china and looks nothing like what’s on the website.

Don’t waste your money!

Do not buy from this website. I ordered what was supposed to be a leather jacket and I received a 100% polyester jacket with poor stitching that was two sizes too small. When I complained, they said my concerns about the material were a matter of “personal preference”! Silly me for ordering a leather jacket and then not being happy with a polyester one instead! When I asked for the return details, I was offered 10% of what I paid for it or store credit - or I could return it for full refund but the company is not in London as you are led to believe, but actually in China, so the shipping cost would eat into the refund (which I don’t think I would ever see). Absolute sham.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I ORDERED A PAIR OF SIZE 11 SHOES FOR A WEDDING. THEY SENT A PAIR OF SIZE 9!

ITS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE TRYING TO GET A REFUND.
