Highly recommend
I had Sam Harris as my Surveyor, Sam gave me exactly the information I needed and more, with very specific details and photos to support his survey. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we are sorry you felt communication fell below expectations.
On this occasion, the surveyor responsible for the report was on annual leave and their out of office was on. Your enquiry was subsequently picked up by another member of our regional team, who explained this and asked whether the matter was urgent or whether you were able to wait for his return. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response to that email.
The surveyor has now returned from leave and remains available to address all queries directly.
We recognise that clear and timely communication is important and appreciate your patience.
Delayed valuation report and multiple amendments
Delayed valuation report and above it need to amend it twice to only delay the process. With a premium price the service is really unsatisfactory

We understand the original valuation report was issued correctly, however an amendment was later required to add an additional client name that was not included in the original instruction. Unfortunately, this amendment was not handled as efficiently or accurately as it should have been, which led to unnecessary delay and frustration.
We accept this fell short of the level of service expected and we regret the impact this had on your experience. The matter has been reviewed internally and additional checks have been reinforced to ensure amendments are processed promptly and correctly going forward.

We received a thorough review
We received a thorough review two days after the date of inspection. The surveyor picked up on things that required some investigation but he also clearly communicated that the house overall was in good condition for its age. He only mistook the neighbour’s chimneys as the chimneys of the house he surveyed, which I pointed out to him. Overall quite satisfied bar this minor confusion.

Outstanding service - as a first time buyer I can't recommend highly enough!
Cannot recommend Camsure and John highly enough! As a first time buyer with a million questions, I knew I was in good hands right from the initial phonecall! Carolyn and team were incredibly helpful and John has been truly amazing. John took the time to talk through any of my concerns prior to the inspection and called me after to explain everything. He was honest but pragmatic and reassuring and helped to put a complex report into simple terms. John gave an overall view and highlighted anything I needed to check. Not only this, but as I got some answers back from the solicitors and had some subsequent questions, John really went above and beyond - swiftly answering and reassuring with his expertise.
Cannot thank John and the team enough - you've helped to make what can be a daunting process a really smooth one and I'm very grateful.

Excellent communication
There was excellent communication - a phone call before and immediately after the survey to convey initial findings, and the survey was sent over ahead of the agreed date. The survey was comprehensive and has saved us from buying a property that we would have been very unhappy with. We can't thank Adrian enough. A bullet dodged!
