I set up my first ever account a few weeks ago in Sandymount, after receiving very friendly and informative information from Mark in the branch. The purpose of my account is to make things as easy as possible for my son, who has been nominated as my beneficiary. The Capital CU app is modern and easy to use, the in-person service I received was helpful and seamless. Looking forward to many years as a customer!

My elderly mother needed a loan over the Christmas period, and as she is hard of hearing I had to conduct the call for her. We were fortunate to get a loan officer called Mark Lawless who made the whole procedure extremely easy and pleasant. I have had dealings with many financial institutions but this was hands down the best customer service I have ever received. The application process was made so easy and quick and she received her approval the same day. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I’ve been a member of this credit union for over 30 years, and I can honestly say they are by far the best financial institution I’ve ever dealt with. They are consistently helpful, friendly, and truly community-based.

I recently applied for a loan over the phone and the person I dealt with, Áine, was excellent. She went through everything clearly, explained the full process, and even called me back just over an hour later to confirm the loan had been approved. I was able to draw down the loan the very next day after signing in my local office, where once again the staff member was great to deal with.

The improvements to the loan application process, particularly the direct access to bank accounts, have really streamlined everything and made it incredibly efficient. Overall, it was a great experience and further reinforces why I’ve stayed with this credit union for so many years.

I have been a member of Capital Credit Union (formerly Dundrum Credit Union) since the early 80’s .
My 3 children have been have educated, received First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Birthdays all financed through Credit Union!!
We have bought cars, had various home improvements done, borrowed for holidays & even weddings!!
All of which would not have been possible without Credit Union support.
I am still a member & will be til my dying day!
My most recent loan was for my dear husband’s headstone ( he passed away in march 2025)RIP
My sincere thanks to Capital Credit Union for their service support & kindness to me over all the years.
